@Mrsrobinsonx so glad your scan went well. I also had one at EPU today - GP referred me after left sided pain, measuring 6 + 3 and saw the heartbeat 💓

NatGee · 31/03/2023 11:40

@jj2023 congratulations, all these early scans bringing so much joy :)

Spareincoming · 31/03/2023 14:20

Got my letter for the 12 week scan; it’s 4 weeks today, so I’ll be 13 weeks.
Better than nothing but a long time to wait! Especially as I’m having NIPT bloods done next week! No private scan though as I’m away with work so DP can’t attend.

KellyJean · 31/03/2023 14:46

@Travellingislife Thank you! This makes sense, yes it must have been day 12!! :) So happy!

NatGee · 31/03/2023 15:07

@Spareincoming four weeks, nice, thats how long i have to wait for mine. i will be just shy of 12 weeks. As for the NIPT did you book that privately? Would the NHS have sent you for one?

Spareincoming · 31/03/2023 15:37

@NatGee Yes I’ve booked a private one; I’m working away next week and will be staying a few miles away from a private scan place so thought I’d go for it.
My midwife has been very dismissive of it though.
I think the NHS only does them if the bloods and scans at 12 weeks flag something up.
I am older and wanted early peace of mind or early decision making time. My previous successful pregnancy, I didn’t get the nhs results until 16 weeks which I felt was quite late in the decision making window.

HannahLouD · 31/03/2023 16:46

Hi girls,

I hope everyone's doing well? 😊

I actually started this original thread but sadly had a chemical.

Really hope I'm not jixing myself again but just wanted to share that I got this today at 13dpo... Cautiously optimistic that this will be a sticky one 🤞 but not holding out too much hope.
I guess if this one does stick and I was early (was 37 weeks with my daughter) I could still give birth in November! 😅 x

Ah @HannahLouD that's amazing news! Congratulations! I remember you from the original thread and it was so sad that you then had to leave it. I'm so happy to see you back with us!

Sb86 · 31/03/2023 17:29

Mrsrobinsonx · 31/03/2023 17:45

@NatGee @Travellingislife thank you ladies!

@JJ2023 ahhh we are super close with dates then, how exciting!

@HannahLouD ahh that’s a lovely line congratulations, I had 2 chemicals before this pregnancy so I know the feeling. Hope it’s a sticky one x

JJ2023 · 31/03/2023 17:51

@HannahLouD aw congratulations 💕 totally understand how you feel, my last cycle was a chemical. Sending all the best wishes to you x

doozledog · 31/03/2023 18:07

NatGee · 31/03/2023 19:45

@HannahLouD and what a lovely line for 13dpo. Mine was much fainter at 12dpo! Fingers crossed for a sticky one
@doozledog im 8 weeks and i feel big too. Cant suck my tummy in anymore.... havent been eating in the best way possible because of pregnancy sickness so im thinking im just getting fat. Is it your first? If not youll know it takes less time to show x

Mldn · 31/03/2023 19:45

@doozledog ahh I am 9 weeks on Sunday too! But I don’t look pregnant yet. I can feel a slight hardness in my lower tummy & have bouts of blotedness where I could easily get away with having a bump. But alas it’s just air 😂 I’m looking forward to a real bump x

38andtrying · 31/03/2023 20:22

@HannahLouD congratulations and praying for a sticky baby for you x

Gingerbreadmama · 31/03/2023 21:54

Hey guys, wanted to update! Not that you'd find my old posts, this thread is so Long! I had an early reassurance scan and dating last week, all okay, I was 7 weeks when we had it, with a little heart beat ♥️ then I had the sneakpeak blood test done. I chose to have it done at the clinic as theres a chance you can contaminate the at home ones with male dna! Anyway our test came back last night, and we're having a girl!!! Can't believe we know at just over 8 weeks, it's crazy 😝 so happy though!!

greentreeseverywhere · 31/03/2023 22:43

Hi I'm 5weeks 3days today and still having lots of aches pains stretches etc..... this is my 3rd pregnancy (1dd) but don't remember pains like this before? anyone else

Gingerbreadmama · 31/03/2023 22:59

@greentreeseverywhere my first pregnancy but up until about 6 weeks I had what were like period pains, and my mum said she had them with me. But it's all you can focus on when you feel them! They've gone now, and I'm 8 weeks.

greentreeseverywhere · 31/03/2023 23:03

@Gingerbreadmama thanx for the reply. I'm really nervous and probably over annualised every thing! I'm also on cyclogest peaseries so wondering if they aren't helping the back ache?! it is very much like period pains

SnookyPook · 01/04/2023 00:28

@HannahLouD 😍 ah so lovely to see you back here! That is a great line! Everything crossed for you that it is a sticky little bean 💕

I finally got my scan appointment through today... 28th April! 😩 I'll be almost 14wks! Really frustrating, especially when I've had no early scans! I even rang to see if they had anything earlier I could switch to but apparently not. Patience is a virtue eh? 😬

TTCJJB · 01/04/2023 05:26

Congratulations @HannahLouD, got everything crossed for you!

I've been using a clearblue weeks indicator and got my 3+ this morning. I know it doesn't guarantee much but I'm glad things are progressing.

Travellingislife · 01/04/2023 05:34

@HannahLouD congratulations!! So happy for you, fingers crossed for a sticky baby x
