I've just joint the WhatsApp group chat and I'm on the Facebook page also

Chip131 · 26/03/2023 20:06

Whats the facebook group please? Xxx

BudgetBuster · 27/03/2023 09:58

Hi everyone! Just found this thread so hope it's OK to join. Currently 5w5d due 22nd November.
I've had a few early losses in the past, no full term pregnancies.

Tests still positive, doing them every 3-4 days. But other than tiredness i really have no symptoms. The odd cramp but if i didnt know i was pregnant i don't think I would notice it. I am awake early and tired throughout the day but nothing else which kind of scares me.

SnookyPook · 27/03/2023 10:17

@Chip131 and any other newbies, this is the FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1226773181379075/?ref=share

@BudgetBuster welcome! Sorry for your previous losses. Always bound to make the first trimester even more anxious. Wishing you a healthy and sticky little bean this time. As for symptoms, some people never get them badly at all but lots fund they lock in more after the 6wk mark too so it may be that you notice more in a few days.

I'm moody, I'm sick, I'm tired.

Anyone else?

Sb86 · 27/03/2023 11:13

@MeganC104 🙋🏼‍♀️

Mldn · 27/03/2023 11:26

I have a scan at the EPU this afternoon. So nervous! All my symptoms have been gone for over a week now. Hoping it’s all normal & I'm overreacting! I should be about 8+3

medicmumma · 27/03/2023 11:27

So so so tired. Slept through my alarms to 9.45 today eek

Shaker21 · 27/03/2023 11:30

Good luck for your scan @Mldn

I am also 5 weeks + 5 days today and due date 22nd November at the moment @BudgetBuster Nice to have someone at the same point :) I have heard alot that some peoples symptoms will kick in around 6 weeks so I am sure you will have some more coming along, I am also still doing tests every 2-3 days at the moment. I have got a early scan on Saturday so thinking once I know everything is ok at the scan then I can try and ease off the testing x

SnookyPook · 27/03/2023 11:35

@MeganC104 so tired today. I've got loads of work I'm meant to be doing and just been sat in sweatpants and hoody on my sofa in a daze most of the morning. I should probably just give in and go for a proper sleep but feeling guilty! So lucky to have the luxury of working from home whilst feeling like this. Those of you who are teachers and medics etc I really don't know how you keep going. Maybe in a weird way it helps that you have to?! No idea but now sure how successful I'd be.

SnookyPook · 27/03/2023 11:37

@Mldn really hope the scan goes well lovely. Looking forward to your update later xx

Mldn · 27/03/2023 11:40

@Shaker21 & @SnookyPook thank you both ! It’s at 130, so not too long to wait now. Shall update with good news hopefully 🤞🏼 x

SaladLeaves · 27/03/2023 11:41

Hi everyone - hoping it's okay that another one joins the thread! 😊

I'm currently 4+5, due some time between 28-30 November I believe! This is my first pregnancy, and I'm so excited, but also so terrified that something might go wrong. I got my first FRER BFP on 9 DPO, 1-2 on Clearblue digital 14 DPO (4+0), 2-3 on Clearblue digital yesterday (4+4), and hoping to see 3+ when I test with Clearblue digital again next Sunday (on 5+4).

Struggling to focus on anything but this pregnancy at the moment, my work output is suffering already! 🙈 Have a lot of cramping, but I'm used to that during my periods, so not the end of the world. Slightly nauseous today, hoping it'll go away and stay away for a few more weeks! Hoping to find a community here, going mad that no-one other than my husband knows yet 😅

38andtrying · 27/03/2023 11:42

@Mldn saying a prayer for you here now and keeping everything crossed

Skyla01 · 27/03/2023 11:46

@Mldn good luck this afternoon. I don't have a lot of symptoms either so hoping that doesn't mean anything. The 12 week scan seems a long time away.

@SaladLeaves I had lots of cramps at your stage too, lasted a few weeks. The time can really drag until after 12 weeks (when most people start telling everyone) so try and keep yourself distracted until then!

Mldn · 27/03/2023 11:51

@Skyla01 Thank you! I do think it’s normal to have no symptoms. I had all symptoms pretty badly for a few weeks & now nothing. But also a really tender feeling in my lower tummy. I called the EPU just for advice/reassurance really & they suggested I go in for a scan.

@38andtrying thank you so much x

JD90 · 27/03/2023 11:57

I'm tired more than anything. Felt a little bit nauseous this morning on my drive to work thanks to an overwhelming exhaust fumes smell but seems to have settled. Still only 5+2 so I'm sure this time next week it will all change!

BudgetBuster · 27/03/2023 12:00

Ohhh very exciting we are on the same EDD path! Have you symptoms yet? I wanted to book an early scan as my hospital scan isn't until 13 weeks, but we struggled to find an appointment that suited my husband and I so I feel a little stressed until I get symptoms 😂 @Sha@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21@Shaker21

Shaker21 · 27/03/2023 12:09

@BudgetBuster I have a few, around 13DPO when I got my BFP I was feeling tired throughout the days, this has carried on still now. I have had a bit of insomnia and cramping on and off from 4 weeks - 5 weeks but that seems to have calmed down a bit now. Sore boobs only seems to have started from 4 weeks + 4 days ish and has just got more sore as the days have gone on. Bit of nausea started this morning where I just felt a bit ewwy but hoping that doesn't kick in too much. Lucky if you can get away with minimal symptoms until a bit later. I am sure they will all ramp up soon. Yeah we are having a private one on Saturday, just lucky that do Saturdays and one late evening so my husband was able to be there. x

Houseonthehills · 27/03/2023 12:17

Best of luck xx

im the same, was worried I had no symptoms, then nausea hit and then bam yesterday afternoon it all disappeared and hasn’t come back, I can even open the fridge and dishwater without gagging. I’m fearing the worst too. Hopefully you get good news at least xx

TMI2000 · 27/03/2023 12:22

@Mldn Good luck on your scan today lovely!

Especially from reading this thread I would say it's totally normal for symptoms to come and go and change. Mine have been better some days and worse other days however I had to clean our shower drain last night which did not do any wonders for my nausea😷I have had sore boobs, tiredness, some cramps. It just totally varies!

TMI2000 · 27/03/2023 12:23

@SnookyPook Get a power nap in! If there is any time when you should be lenient with yourself it's now! 😴I wish I worked from home and could do the same!

LittleBeanie · 27/03/2023 12:27

Hi everyone! I have been following the thread since the beginning but been too anxious to post. Seems like such a lovely and supportive group though so diving in!

I am about 6+3 with 1 DD born in 2021. I have unfortunately had 2 miscarriages, one at 5 weeks in November and the other at 10 weeks in February. They have made this pregnancy a lot more anxious, but I feel quite different to the last one so keeping fingers tightly crossed.

I called the EPU on Friday and they have booked me a reassurance scan for tomorrow and prescribed me cyclogest (progesterone), aspirin and high dose folic acid. I was expecting to be fobbed off as the recurrent miscarriage threshold is 3, but they are really supportive and I’m glad to have a few extra things that might help this little bean stick. They have also referred me for counselling to deal with the anxiety.

I hope everyone is feeling ok today ♥️

TMI2000 · 27/03/2023 12:33

@LittleBeanie Congratulations! I also have a scan tomorrow and can't wait to be properly dated.
I completed understand the anxiety as I suffered a mc at 8 weeks at the beginning of February which was really hard however I also feel completely different this time than last time, definitely more positive.
Fingers crossed for the both of us! ❤
