Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

@mumumofone31 we are exactly the same dates! My first though and 5th attempt.

Is anyone suffering from an upset stomach? 🥴

SnookyPook · 17/03/2023 08:48

@hopeandpray1988 that looks like perfect progression to me! 😊

The last couple of days I was feeling really rough but have woken feeling a bit more with it today. Hoping it continues! Although I was happy that hopefully it's a good sign that things are progressing ok! Bit this first trimester drags on doesn't it?!

SnookyPook · 17/03/2023 08:49

@vix_85 not an upset stomach exactly but I've had a few varied bowel movements from one extreme to the other. Fun times. Hope you're ok.

SnookyPook · 17/03/2023 08:51

@mumofone31 congrats and welcome! My DS just turned 2 in January so I'm right there with you! Pleased it won't be a massive age gap though. Two years between me and my Sis and we've always been close. Hoping for similar with mine 🥰

Chellooo · 17/03/2023 08:54

Morning ladies, back again to moan. Managed to keep a slice of toast down this morning for a grand total of 10 minutes after being woken from my already broken sleep at 4 am to throw up. Please tell me this gets easier. Ive lost 4lb in less than a week and I'm not even 7 weeks yet

SnookyPook · 17/03/2023 08:54

@flightless55 don't think I congratulated you on your scan! So glad it went well 🥰

@Fox01 how are you doing this morning? Are you past your expected AF due date yet? I think anything before that is so early that it can be hard to know what's what with the HCG testing. Sending lots of hugs and good vibes your way. X

MeganC104 · 17/03/2023 09:15

@vix_85 @SnookyPook I'm having the same the bowel department. I'm still ill with a virus so not sure if it's that or pregnancy though.

Fox01 · 17/03/2023 09:36

@Stillhoping1990 no they don't do any bloods for that. Just have to wait for the scan.

@Noneyerbuisness11234@Noneyerbuisness11234

Stillhoping1990 · 17/03/2023 09:40

Hi @Chellooo in sorry to hear you’re unwell. You must think I’m crazy for worrying about lack of sickness! I wondered, when did your sickness begin? I’m currently 5 weeks.

Fox01 · 17/03/2023 09:40

@Noneyerbuisness11234 sorry sent last too soon. 10 was in the morning and the other 2 were late evening where I've not drank much nor peed for 3 hours so it shouldnt dilute it.

@SnookyPook no don't test in the morning now because it would be 3am due to progesterone and having to get up early to walk dog and go to work.

I have also had different bowel movements. I had loads of pain with it too until they did a scan and they most have moved soemthing off my bowels and it's so much better now.

I had sore boobs, sweat, cramps, backache and metallic taste at 2am when I woke up this am. I have been getting this every wake up almost and it lasts maybe 30 mins then all fine and get up not that long after. Dh works shifts so I always have a disturbed sleep.

Stillhoping1990 · 17/03/2023 09:41

@Fox01 i really think bloods would help. Perhaps the nhs will take your bloods or a private blood clinic.

Skyla01 · 17/03/2023 10:03

Hi ladies, I'm 5+5 today. Still only getting mild nausea now and then so trying to enjoy feeling well while it lasts. It's an odd feeling waking up each day wondering if I'll suddenly feel rotten (I did with my last pregnancy). Have a day off today so trying to balance resting / chilling out Vs getting stuff done while I feel good.

Anyone got any nice weekend plans? I'm away to visit friends- first trip without my DD! Fingers crossed I feel good over the weekend.

Chellooo · 17/03/2023 10:05

@NatGee thanks! I'll have a look into it, been trying ginger tea but barely able to get it down...

@Stillhoping1990 it only kicked in week 6 but did so with a vengeance , I didn't really have anything before then.

mumofone31 · 17/03/2023 10:05

@vix_85 congratulations! ❤️

@SnookyPook this is my thinking, although it'll be busy for us it will be a nice age gap for the siblings!

@MooseWL pregnancy with a toddler is definitely different isn't it 😂 my husband keeps telling me to rest - how?!?! 😂

Fox01 · 17/03/2023 11:44

@Stillhoping1990 its £90 to get a beta done but because its still early I'd have to do a couple to see if the numbers rise. Its a lot of money. Especially when the clinic would still have to do the scan anyway. It would just be a lot of heartache

EBeans · 17/03/2023 12:07

So I was feeling pretty anxious about the pregnancy and booked in for a 6 week scan today, 6+6 by my count.

Safe to say we were extremely shocked to see such a clear picture... of two 🤯 no wonder I've been feeling so rough!

Due November 2023 ✨
Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 12:15

@EBeans wow! Congratulations what a lovely surprise x

MooseWL · 17/03/2023 12:16

@Chellooo so with you. My GP wouldn't give me anything over the phone as they want me to go in later to give a urine sample and she said if it's clear (of ketones) they'll be able to give me some anti sickness meds thank god. I thought it was a good idea to take toddler to a farm this morning and omg the smells - I had to puke in the toilets twice whilst I was there🤣😳

@Ebeans omg congratulations what a great picture! Bet that was a bit of a shock? Do you have children already?

Can't remember who asked for the link to the FB page - it's here www.facebook.com/groups/1226773181379075/?ref=share

EBeans · 17/03/2023 12:19

@Mummy1502 @MooseWL thanks both! Definitely a shock, OHs face was a picture.

No children currently so we're heading straight in at the deep end!

Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 12:24

@EBeans how lovely, I’m currently 11dpo after a chemical last month (was added to this thread before I started bleeding) have had faint lines yesterday but not holding out much hope x

Sb86 · 17/03/2023 12:26

@EBeans what a lovely surprise, congratulations ❤️❤️ great pic!

Mldn · 17/03/2023 12:45

@EBeans ah love that so much! Congrats. Are there twins in the family? What symptoms have you been having? Was it an internal scan? Super clear pic x

Fox01 · 17/03/2023 13:01

@EBeans wow congratulations! Double trouble 😂. Were you ivf?

SnookyPook · 17/03/2023 13:48

@EBeans congratulations! Twinnies! How exciting! 😍😃
