@LBF2020 i have everything crossed for you that EPU see you and can check you out. It could be from AAAAAANYTHING so I’m sending all the positive vibes!

BCxx · 19/01/2023 02:38

Omg it says girl! Don’t know whether to believe that but it means they haven’t found any male DNA, which is what they’re looking for. Please tell me it’s right 😂

@Mumtobabyhavoc thanks! Feels too good to be true but on the sneakpeek Facebook group it definitely seems you really don’t get many false girl results, it’s mainly all false boy if it’s been contaminated. Will wait til 16 weeks to tell anyone, my curiosity just got the better of me 🙈

@BCxx congratulations x

UsernameNotPresent · 19/01/2023 05:33

@BCxx how exciting! Congratulations! You are also the first one to find out the sex of the baby on this group ☺️

UsernameNotPresent · 19/01/2023 05:37

Today is the first day I officially got my secret saviours stretch mark prevention kit out. I feel like I have enough bloat going on to support the band 😂 I used it in my last pregnancy and I didn't get any stretch marks despite putting on over 3 stone and a large baby (I'm normally skinny and short so that was quite something), but I'm well aware it could have just been luck and genetics! However, I will be damned if I don't try to prevent the buggers this time around as well.

Sjw30 · 19/01/2023 05:54

@Sjw30 @UsernameNotPresent @MinnieFirstTimeMum @Mumtobabyhavoc thanks all 💖 I still don’t know whether to trust it but we’ll find out at 16 weeks!

nadsc · 19/01/2023 07:23

Did anyone else start to feel better after the 10 week mark? I haven’t really had any symptoms this pregnancy except fatigue and being thirsty. I just don’t feel pregnant but I remember saying this after the 12 week mark to a colleague so I’m probably just paranoid. Scan is in 15 days and cannot come quick enough.

sprollie11 · 19/01/2023 07:25

Has anyone who is around about the 12 week point noticed that their fatigue has started to ease? Maybe it's a bit too early, but im desperate to have some energy back. I feel like all I do is work, eat, sit on the sofa and sleep! Looking for the light at the end of the tunnel

PumpkinEverything · 19/01/2023 07:32

@sprollie11 I’m 12 weeks today (although measured ahead at scan yesterday) and definitely noticed a boost in my energy in the last week! So hopefully it’s not long for you 🤞🏻

so exciting @BCxx 💖 I would def believe it!

Createcomet · 19/01/2023 07:34

Oh gosh, I've woken in the night with a migraine 🤦‍♀️ Now have to parent 2 year old alone for next 12 hours, get him to swimming lesson and do the food shop with a migraine. Can't take anything for it because I'm pregnant 🤦‍♀️

Also, my first miscarriage started with a migraine so this always puts me on edge!!!! I've still got tiredness, metallic taste, nausea, and tonnes of round ligament pain so hoping it's all okay in there. But still...Not great!

This is me at the moment too. After working and parenting I struggle to do much else. I think it improved for me at about 16 weeks last time. I hope it eases for you soon!!!

UsernameNotPresent · 19/01/2023 07:38

@sprollie11 I am 12 weeks and still looking for that light at the end of the tunnel re tiredness. I am hoping next few weeks will bring relief.
@Createcomet oh no, sorry to hear that. Migraines suck, especially when you can't take anything for them. I get them too, but thankfully (touch wood!), haven't had one recently.

sally16 · 19/01/2023 07:53

@BCxx omg!! 😍😍

AnnieApple123 · 19/01/2023 07:54

That’s so exciting @BCxx !

I’m having thoughts of changing my scan back to today…

ChloeN · 19/01/2023 08:08

@BCxx omg yay! I would trust it I don’t see how girl could be wrong ☺️☺️

@nadsc yes mine eased a bit at 10/11 weeks and then come back at 12 xx

@AnnieApple123 do you think they’d have space🫣

Amme18 · 19/01/2023 08:26

@BCxx yay!!

Symptoms eased by 10 weeks here and definitely fatigue is easing off now at 12 weeks! Still tired but mainly because I’m not sleeping great, partly awful vivid dreams and partly a 3 year old who wakes up and shouts me every few hours crying so is either in my bed or I’m getting up. The fatigue before was next level, I’ve never felt so exhausted! Even life with a newborn wasn’t like that.

Saying all this came downstairs to a little poo from my very naughty dog on the floor and the wretching started and wouldn’t stop. Normally doesn’t bother me. 🤢

AnnieApple123 · 19/01/2023 08:29

@ChloeN I only cancelled yesterday so maybe. They don’t open til 9 though so too early to call.

@AnnieApple123 ahh let me know if you go for it xx

LS888 · 19/01/2023 09:23

@BCxx exciting news! 💕 My mum thinks I’m having a girl just pure guess. My sister said girl too and she has shared my scan with a friend who is good at predicting nub theory and she thought girl too. If so it would be changing a family pattern- both of my sisters had boys first and both of my husbands sisters had boys. I’m not sure that’s a thing and still dubious about the nub theory thing so keeping an open mind! xx

BCxx · 19/01/2023 09:45

@sally16 @AnnieApple123 @ChloeN @Amme18 eeek 😬🎉

@LS888 i think sometimes you can just tell what someone will have. I’m usually good at guessing when people around me get pregnant, especially if it’s their first as I can usually only picture them with one or the other. What does your husband’s dad have children wise? Apparently that’s a lot of what sways it. My FIL has boy and girl and now that will be true for us but I think it’s more like if they have all boys sometimes some lines of genes just have all boys or all girls for so long

@AnnieApple123 did you manage to change it?
