Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Would anyone else like to join me on our journey! X

@Moosh18 I’m 5 weeks today; still have bad backache and some odd pains/feelings in my abdomen. Felt really nauseous this morning, hoping I don’t get any sickness soon, my mum had it every day for the whole 9 months with all 3 children 😩

Positivethoughts92 · 24/10/2022 14:50

EPU has booked me in for a scan next Monday, I will only be 6 + 4 so really hope they will be able to check if all is ok that early?

GemmaJen · 24/10/2022 15:19

@Positivethoughts92 is that due to the shoulder pain? How are you feeling now? At 6w they should see something, even if it's just the sac so they should be able to rule out ectopic. Ideally the heartbeat will be visible, but not guaranteed with variables in implantation dates etc...

blueberry23 · 24/10/2022 15:41

Does anyone know if I'll be able to see a heartbeat at my scan which will be 6+6days? Hope so!

Moosh18 · 24/10/2022 15:52

Do you know if it's internal or external, I could at mine at 7+4 x

I rang EPU this morning about the shoulder pain and they didn’t seem too concerned about etopic as I have no other symptoms but they advised that if I started to feel light headed or had stomach pain or bleeding to ring back. After my miscarriage in august they said the would do an early reassurance scan so I just booked when I was on the phone. I think it’s internal, really hope everything is ok and would be such a relief if I could see a heartbeat x

Mayfield87 · 24/10/2022 16:06

@blueberry23 when I had my early scan with ds1 they couldn't see externally so it was internal in the end- I was measuring at 7+1.

Mayfield87 · 24/10/2022 16:07

And yes sorry I saw a heartbeat @blueberry23

blueberry23 · 24/10/2022 19:43

I spoke too soon today.

Been so nauseous since about 4pm. 🤢

Houseelf90 · 25/10/2022 08:16

Anyone that’s had lower back pain, what have you found helps? I’ve been using a hot water bottle at home which does help ease it, but I forgot to bring it to the office today - and also could do with something else to help as there’s only so many times I can say I have AF pain 🤣🤣

Moosh18 · 25/10/2022 08:36

@Houseelf90 I had it really bad with my DD only occasionally this time, you can take paracetamol but not ibuprofen xx

I had an early scan yesterday (thought I was about 7+3 but turns out I’m maybe a couple of days earlier) and she went straight for an internal. Was actually totally fine. Slightly uncomfortable when she was looking at the ovaries but not painful at all. Saw a heartbeat too which was lovely 💓

bubble55 · 25/10/2022 12:46

I think I’m 4 weeks today. I’ve had two chemicals in the last 3 months so I’m really anxious and too scared to get excited. I don’t really have any symptoms - did anybody else feel “fine” at 4 weeks? My last chemical my boobs were agony to touch but none of that this time. I’ve had strong lines on my tests. I’ve had some stomach ache which dr Google says is normal but I had that last time too so I’m really worried 😔

Mayfield87 · 25/10/2022 13:03

To update @blueberry23 @Moosh18 I'm not having nausea as such but certain foods are turning my stomach today- maybe nausea is on its way in a week or so!

Moosh18 · 25/10/2022 13:10

@Mayfield87 @blueberry23 how are you both? I keep getting mild waves of nausea but nothing bad, they only symptom I have is extreme tiredness! X

Just come home from work because I’m bleeding 😢 just when I wipe and not dark red, more of a pink. I’m sure it will be fine but I couldn’t stop crying. I don’t know what to do 😩 I registered the pregnancy yesterday but haven’t heard from them yet so I don’t have a direct contact to speak to anyone. 111 online says to speak to the GP but they were absolutely useless yesterday when I spoke to them to tell them I was pregnant, the dr didn’t have a clue what to do!!

Moosh18 · 25/10/2022 14:01

@Houseelf90 oh no! Contact your local early pregnancy unit, they will tell you to go down! If you Google it you should be able to get a number? X

Houseelf90 · 25/10/2022 14:40

I’ve just done more tests and negative. On an early detection and a digital. For them to be negative I’m guessing I had already lost the pregnancy. Partner is coming home from work now and then I’ll call the local EPU.

Moosh18 · 25/10/2022 14:41

@Houseelf90 have you had any bleeding before now? X

OP posts:
Houseelf90 · 25/10/2022 14:43

@Moosh18 I had dark brown spotting the weekend before I got my first positive

Houseelf90 · 25/10/2022 14:47

@Moosh18 sorry just realised how blunt that reply is!! Appreciate you replying so quickly! I tested negative on Friday 14th, spotting Saturday, Sunday and Monday and tested positive on the Monday. Tested a couple of times that week and had progression on Friday just gone; hadn’t tested any more since then until today x

Moosh18 · 25/10/2022 14:50

@Houseelf90 don't worry at all.... I wouldn't of thought a test would go negative with no bleeding? But I'm obviously unsure, my test started to lighten when the bleeding started in my first Mc, I'm so sorry you are going through this, I hope the EPU will see you quickly, have you managed to find a number? X

OP posts:
Houseelf90 · 25/10/2022 14:54

@Moosh18 I know I’m so confused. I thought it would either show progression or it would have lightened but not to completely nothing. Yes I’ve got the number just waiting for partner to get home he shouldn’t be much longer.

These are my tests from Tuesday and Friday last week. I am pretty sure they were positive??

bubble55 · 25/10/2022 15:17

@Houseelf90 i had a strong positive one day then the morning after total negative on a FRER (but the day before it was faint) and I had a chemical. It really does mess with your head, it’s so unfair. My EPU wouldn’t see me until 6 weeks and then it was a total blank scan and negative test. I almost thought I’d imagined the dozens of tests :(

Have you tried a first response early test?

Houseelf90 · 25/10/2022 16:11

@bubble55 the more we read the more convinced we are it’s a chemical. I’ve called the EPU and waiting for a callback now. I’ve used the clear blue early detection, haven’t been able to get any first response as they don’t have them in the tesco or sainsburys near us and I didn’t want to go into town x
