Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Would anyone else like to join me on our journey! X

@Moosh18 just see you still have the sickness. Sorry to hear that but also that's a great sign!!

blueberry23 · 09/11/2022 08:06

@Moosh18 is your scan private?

If you're really worried, I'd suggest speaking to Epu and booking an NHS early scan.

My reasoning for doing that was that I didn't want to be told there was something wrong in a private clinic. I would want to speak to a nurse/doctor and just felt more comfortable being in a hospital environment.

My local EPU have always been amazing with offering early scans for reassurance so I'm sure yours would offer you one especially after the brown discharge x

@blueberry23 they've just said I've got nothing to worry about and it all sounds normal....

I had a d and c at 12 weeks in June, I'm wondering if it's just left my cervix a little more sensitive x

@blueberry23 I feel like I know the drill if it's not good news :(

@Moosh18 positive thoughts. I really think you're going to be fine ❤️

Positivethoughts92 · 09/11/2022 08:54

I think you will be fine too ❤️ You only have a few more days to wait for a scan and as @blueberry23 said the relief is immense. The not knowing and creating scenarios in your head is what worsens my anxiety xx

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 08:57

@Positivethoughts92 I think your right, i definitely build it up, I'm hoping feeling this sick is a good sign.

@blueberry23 thank you ❤️

Good luck for Friday @Moosh18
I have had the tiniest of pink discharge the last 2 days but I'm not worrying about it just yet.
Just tiredness here but my thyroid levels have gone overactive again- I suffer with hyperthyroidism so need to keep that in check. No sickness at all @blueberry23
I have my 12 weeks scan on the 12th Dec which feels a long way off! When do you have your 12 week scans guys?

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 12:41

@Mayfield87 mines on 28th I'll only be 10+3 but my midwife said to still go and they'll just do another in a week or so, it's as the nhs are dating me by lmp but I know when I ovulated.

It makes me feel better that you've had a little pink but it doesn't concern you!

Have you had a scan or waiting for 12 week? X

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 12:42

@Mayfield87 sorry you have had one I know that x

@Moosh18 in my first pregnancy I had some bleeding at 10 weeks and all was okay aswell. So I try not to worry. Obviously if I have severe bleeding I will call EPU but the off pink spotting doesn't worry me.

I really want another scan tbh 😂 but at £55 I think I'll have to wait until 12 weeks

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 13:03

@Mayfield87 if alls okay for me Friday it's only 2 weeks till nhs one then they'll do another a few weeks later, then I'll probably do a private gender scan before 20 x

Ladies that have had a chemical before, can I pick your brains please?!
The day after I had some bleeding with my chemical, I had a full on period, so I counted that as a period on my flo app which then put ovulation at Sunday just gone.
However; for the last 5 or so days, I have had lower back pain and hiccups the same as I had before my chemical. I’ve just been to the loo and I’ve got some brown blood when I wipe, which is the same as I had with implantation last time!!

Its driving me crazy because I know it’s far too early if I ovulated on Sunday - but is there any chance I could have ovulated earlier?? We DTD last Tuesday which would be 8 days ago, so potentially implantation? But that would mean I ovulated as I finished my period - surely that’s not possible? WHYYYY does my body hate me this much 😭😩

Houseelf90 · 09/11/2022 13:57

I know the only way to know for sure is to test, but I really don’t want to be wasting money and testing this early unless any of you tell me this has happened to you, in which case I will sprint to the shops (ok leisurely walk) and get some more tests!

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 13:59

@Houseelf90 I guess it's possible to ovulate anytime! Your body's can be crazy after a Mc! Maybe order some cheapie tests online! That's what I used to do and test like crazy! Did you have any signs of ovulation?? X

OP posts:
Houseelf90 · 09/11/2022 14:02

@Moosh18 this is so true!! I didn’t have any sign of ovulation but I haven’t for the last couple of cycles before this either!

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 14:13

I deffo got implantation at 6dpo as I tested positive at 8 and had cramps at 6/7, so you could of ovulated Friday possibly? And are getting implantation now? X

OP posts:
Houseelf90 · 09/11/2022 14:19

@Moosh18 yes I guess that could have been possible! I think I’ll order some cheapies, did you use the easy @ home? A lot of people seem to use those on here.

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 14:21

@Houseelf90 yeh I used easy at home or one step. Xxx

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 14:21

@Houseelf90 I used to get the ones that were like ovulation and pregnancy tests multipack x

OP posts:
Houseelf90 · 09/11/2022 14:26

@Moosh18 thank you I’ll order from Amazon 😊

Positivethoughts92 · 10/11/2022 15:38

Don’t know why but my anxiety has got way worse this past few days, I think as I get closer to 9 weeks which is when I found out about the MMC last time 🙈. Trying to relax and stay positive but so hard x

blueberry23 · 12/11/2022 09:41

@Moosh18 how was the scan? All ok? X

Moosh18 · 12/11/2022 10:05

@blueberry23 went well, heartbeat was 165 and measuring two days ahead.... but when she was scanning me I felt a cramp, then went to the loo and there was loads of blood jusy gushed out of me, she re scanned after and it all looked fine and she couldn't see a bleed, so I just don't understand I'm absolutely petrified, the bleeding continued fairly heavy for an hour or so then like a clot came out and it's totally stopped since, I've had no cramps or pain apart from that one during the scan, I'm praying it was a hematoma that was dislodged during the scan or something...: the only thing giving me comfort it the baby was perfect even during the bleed, measuring two days ahead with a reallt strong heartbeat. Epu closed till Monday so will try get another scan with them then. X

@Moosh18 oh god that’s sounds so scary!! You were in the best place when it happened though!! Fingers crossed you can get another scan to put your mind at ease and all will be ok!
