Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Would anyone else like to join me on our journey! X

@Ash0 I've had some pink spotting too, it stopped after one or two times and went to a very very light brown, symptoms seem to vary so much for everyone, I've had horrific sickness for four days but none today! @blueberry23 had been so worried as she's had hardly any, can you get an early scan? X

@Ash0 & @Moosh18 thank you. I was in the office when the message came through and it came through on my watch just as someone from a different department was showing me how to use a report he’d set up for me, he must have wondered what was going on as I suddenly paused and then tried to act normal when all I wanted to do was cry!!
Hoping you’re both getting on ok!!
The day after I had the pink spotting I then got a proper period so going by that as the start of my cycle I should be ovulating on Saturday, so that has motivated me to get back to being positive, I know this cycle will possibly be a bit all over the place and I may not ovulate on Saturday or even at all, but I don’t want to waste any months not trying now so will DTD a few times this week.

Moosh18 · 02/11/2022 20:14

@Houseelf90 I think with being earlier on it will regulate fairly quickly! I had my first period six weeks after my surgery, 6 weeks are normal cycle lengths for me, so I think periods do tend to return fairly fast, I had two cycles Inbetween my loss and falling pregnant again, which I never expected as it took two years for DD, I just think this may end in loss this time x

@Moosh18 bless you, I really hope it all works out for you, you’ve been so kind and helpful to me x

Moosh18 · 02/11/2022 20:59

@Houseelf90 please keep us posted on how you get on! You could be joining us again in a few weeks!!!

@Ash0 I honestly don't feel pregnant and I'm 7+2 and heartbeat confirmed.

I'm hungry maybe a bit tired and have round ligament pains if I stand or sneeze. That's it. No sore boobs or sickness at all!

Fingers crossed x

Houseelf90 · 02/11/2022 21:59

@Moosh18 thank you; I had originally said I would leave the thread but you’ve all been so lovely that I’ll try and stick around in the hope that I get a sticky one soon and I won’t be too far behind you all! X

Moosh18 · 03/11/2022 06:16

@blueberry23 I don't know whether to do my scan tomororw, if I don't see a heartbeat I'm going to panic, but they will only do abdominal at the place I'm going, was yours abdominal or internal? X

OP posts:
blueberry23 · 03/11/2022 06:26

@Moosh18

Mine was internal and they wouldn't try external as didn't want to panic me.

Are you going to EPU?

If not I'd do that. If I had concerns I wouldn't want to be told by a private scan place....

Moosh18 · 03/11/2022 06:35

@blueberry23 I think I'll give it a week and go private, I will definitely see a heartbeat then. My concern at min is morning sickness has pretty much gone :( I'm with the midwife today so I'll ask her, if she has any concerns she would refer me I think, but I have no pain and no bleeding, apart from that one episode of the tiniest bit of pink, but when I spoke to her yesterday she said that was normal x

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 03/11/2022 06:36

@blueberry23 this is my concern if I go tomorrow and they can't see a Hb they will tell me to come back in a week and that will just panic me for a full week x

@Houseelf90 I made two very good friends on mumsnet, I met them when I was pregnant with DD as we were all in the same thread, sadly they both lost their pregnancies, we all kept talking and one of them fell pregnant with her little boy a few months later, and the other about six months later with her TWIN boys, we speak all the time now, I think it helped for them and me to speak to someone who knew what we were all going through, they struggles of ttc, the fear of pregnancies etc even though we were all at different stages. Hopefully you will take some comfort from us along the way! And us from you! ❤️

@Moosh18 oh absolutely I will! And I’ll be watching out for you guys symptoms so I know what to expect in advance!
In the nicest possible way, I’m glad your sickness has returned! 😅

Moosh18 · 03/11/2022 08:57

@Houseelf90 haha me too! I've taken my tablet now, I was holding off to see if it came back,

How long have you been ttc? It's an absolute rollercoaster! Do you track etc? X

@Moosh18 I came off my pill at the end of July so I was super lucky to get my BFP in my 3rd cycle! I just hope it’s as quick again - I have kind of got my hopes up that it will be really quick with how quick it was and then reading you are more fertile after a miscarriage. I need to try and convince myself it might not happen so quickly!
I’m 32 and partner is 39 so we are on the older side.
I haven’t used OPK’s or tracked BBT. The month I got my BFP I was using Flo app to track my periods and suspected ovulation date. My free trial has ended now and so I’ve just used the calculations from that to work it out myself this month but I think I will pay for that if we haven’t conceived in the next few months! We just didn’t want any added stress of having to DTD when I was ovulating, just DTD regularly and see what happens (although obviously I knew when I was roughly ovulating, I didn’t tell my partner)

Ash0 · 03/11/2022 10:09

@blueberry23 ahh I think I’m 7+1, thank you for your comment. So reassuring, it’s just so weird with little symptoms! @Moosh18 that sounds positive!

@Houseelf90 I have the paid for Flo app. Found it soo useful for tracking. However I did also use OPK because I wasn’t like clockwork and did find the prediction was a little off for me a few times. Have everything crossed for you.

Houseelf90 · 03/11/2022 10:17

Thank you @Ash0 I have just checked on the app and where everything was greyed out for me before it is now letting me add period dates and showing me predicted ovulation date again - I thought this was supposed to be available on the free version so was a bit confused when it all disappeared! I will use the free version for the next couple of months and then ‘upgrade’ after Christmas if needed.

I've brought my scan forward to this Sunday as I just want to know where I am either way- ill be 7+3 🤞🏻

Moosh18 · 03/11/2022 17:11

Is anyone still getting cramps randomly! It isn't often but they are unnerving me! They kind of feel like a crampy pressure x

OP posts:
Positivethoughts92 · 03/11/2022 17:14

@Moosh18 yes I’m still getting cramps have them today 🙈 but I had them really bad at the weekend at one side and was so worried but had my scan and all is good for now thank god so obviously was nothing to worry about. They noticed on my internal scan that I had cysts on my ovaries so I’m thinking that maybe is why it was so sore at one side at the weekend x

Moosh18 · 03/11/2022 18:27

@Positivethoughts92 I had a cyst in my last pregnancy too, they were gone by 12 week scan.

I've not had cramps very much recently but today can feel them, they make me so nervous!!! X

Every wee thing makes you nervous after a loss 😢. I just want the weeks to go quicker lol x

Carly2014 · 03/11/2022 19:22

Hi. Just read through all your posts and would love to join. I’m 5 weeks today and found out on Sunday. I had woken up with nausea so tested and it was a shock to find a positive! I had constant severe acid reflux and nausea from Sunday to Wednesday morning and now nothing. I am now worried something is wrong. Took some tests again and have uploaded them as feel need confirmation!

Those few days where I had nausea I also had quite a lot of CM and felt my body odour was different. I haven’t had much since. I’ve had random rugs in stomach but nothing major.

Is this normal?

thanks

blueberry23 · 04/11/2022 08:50

Hey @Carly2014

Sounds perfectly normal to me, and those tests are fine. Will you book an early scan? I had one and it's helped my anxiety so much!

Is anyone else feeling miserable?

I've been fine but today I feel very hormonal. Overthinking everything, feel like crying which is so unlike me!

Also I can't stop eating carbs and already gaining weight which I hate!
