@Delight12 she's adorable and I'm so glad you've got her home.

ToCaden · 13/07/2022 07:25

@Delight12 very cute. So happy she's now home with you.

LiMc1 · 13/07/2022 07:38

@Delight12 bless her, she is tiny but so so cute!! 😍

PopGoesBang · 13/07/2022 08:10

@Delight12 Beautiful! Glad you are home together.

CoalCraft · 13/07/2022 08:54

@Delight12 Ah, so happy you're home! That's a great pic. Give it six months then take another pic with her in that chair. You'll be amazed at how much she's grown ☺️

mamaof2girls · 13/07/2022 15:04

@Delight12 she is beautiful. Congratulations on being home with her! Love seeing little babies gets me excited for my little one to arrive! X

Isonthecase · 13/07/2022 15:08

Anyone else looking at that photo and going "oh my goodness there's one of those INSIDE me" 😂😅

All feels a bit real.

Unknown6 · 13/07/2022 15:10

@Delight12 , she's so adorable, congratulations on being home x

Mufflette · 13/07/2022 17:37

@Isonthecase totally! Every so often I look at my bump moving and can't believe it's an actual person who looks like an actual real baby living in there!

Passthetena · 13/07/2022 21:48

@Delight12 oh my god she's so tiny and gorgeous! When was your original due date again? Must be so surreal having her home!

Delight12 · 13/07/2022 22:03

@Passthetena my due date is the 3rd August, it's lovely having her home but she's so used to the hospital noise's she's not sleeping well. We're just trying different things to help her sleep x

Isonthecase · 14/07/2022 12:51

Had to pop in for a check up this morning after some painful and regular Braxton Hicks. All ok but was interested to know that they don't even do the check for likelihood of premature labour past 34 weeks. Apparently they wouldn't even try to stop it.

ToCaden · 14/07/2022 15:33

@Isonthecase that's interesting. Thought it would be at least a couple weeks later than that.

Goes to show our babies are pretty much cooked right now. I'll be 36 weeks on saturday! So prob only three weeks to go for me until my section. Somehow three weeks sounds a lot closer than four weeks did.

I do wonder who's going to be the second baby of the group, and when.

Isonthecase · 14/07/2022 15:45

@ToCaden so did I! They were very clear that it should be a hospital birth at that stage so any niggles mean go right in

Unknown6 · 14/07/2022 16:29

Im officially classed as full term as now 37 weeks!

madeleine85 · 14/07/2022 17:03

@Isonthecase my doctor said the last time that once we hit 34 weeks they would just let my DD arrive, but with this one they will just let him come when he tries unless the oxygen passing through the placenta is lessening. 33+2 today, had the mother of all back cramp contraction sensations all night long last night, and my boobs are really tingly/milk has definitely started production. My body must really just hit its point of being "done" with pregnancy around the 32 week mark. A little scary to know its just going to happen at any point now, especially as he is still flipping every which way, so birth plans be damned. I have the specialist checkup tomorrow though so i'm really looking forward to knowing what if anything has changed in the last week, desparately hoping for some growth/good news. I feel like a whale although still supposedly small, and managed to turn on the gas stovetop burner with my bump last night by accident and left it running, and that hasn't happened since my last pregnancy :).

Tacoboutit · 14/07/2022 17:06

Ditto @Unknown6 - I’m technically full term, 37 weeks today. Baby estimated to be almost 8lb already! Thank goodness I’m booked in for a section 😂 although I’m not sure how accurate growth scans are. 2 weeks to go!

mamaof2girls · 14/07/2022 17:58

So excited to all yours that are full term or can have their babies any moment I am 34 weeks tomorrow and can't wait for the weeks to go past and be ready to have this little baba. Feel bad for saying I can't wait not to be pregnant as am now at that uncomfy painful stage and this could be my last! X

CoalCraft · 14/07/2022 18:12

Oww lots of Braxton Hicks today. Not regular so I'm not worried but I'm definitely feeling them more as baby gets bigger.

Still a little way to go till term for me, am 34+5 today. I'd like to get all the way to 40 if I can or at least 39 - I finish work at 37 weeks and want to enjoy a couple of weeks off before baby arrives!!

But we'll just have to see of course

Unknown6 · 14/07/2022 18:48

@Tacoboutit, I'm in for a planned csection too, they have already moved it once though I'm currently booked for 2nd August, when are you planned?
My bubba is 6lb 9oz estimated on the growth scan.

I really think bubba will arrive end of next week though, I just have a feeling she wants to gate crash my wedding anniversary lol.

Tacoboutit · 14/07/2022 19:02

@Unknown6 aww that’s a lovely estimated weight. Sounds right in the middle! Lol hopefully she stays put a little while longer but what a lovely anniversary present she’d be 😍

I’m booked in for 28th July so exactly 2 weeks today, can’t believe how much the second half of pregnancy has flown in! I still haven’t packed my hospital bag 🤦🏻‍♀️ currently starting it now lol x

Delight12 · 14/07/2022 19:16

I'm so excited to see all your babies arrive, it's crazy to think most of you are so close now x

Cakecakecheese · 14/07/2022 19:26

I'm 36 weeks on Sunday. I have a growth scan on Wednesday and consultant appointment on Thursday. I'm telling my friend who keeps saying they'll induce me at 37 weeks to shush. I'm being monitored so I'll go with the advice from actual professionals thanks 😂

Ymamiss · 14/07/2022 23:20

can I jump onto the bus please? I’ve been following silently since we were all around the 2 months mark, but I’ve only just managed to remember my login details!
I’m currently 36 weeks, officially due August 8th but having an elective on August 2nd. I joined a Mumsnet baby bus on Facebook 7 years ago when I was pregnant on my eldest son and we are all still in touch, which is lovely! I also have a 3 year old son. This baby is another surprise in terms of sex! I’m a teacher and don’t finish work til next Tues, a struggle in this heat!
I’ve been having growth scans and was told last two times that I have too much fluid around baby - however because I’m having a section they’re not worried.
To top it off, we are also in the middle of renovating our new house - we are going to rent our current place out, and we’ve done absolutely loads of work in the 2 weeks that we’ve had the keys to our new place. I’m starting to stress that we won’t be in in time, but DH is adamant we will be!
anyway, sorry for the essay!

SantiagoSister · 14/07/2022 23:33

@Unknown6 how strange you have a feeling baby will arrive at the end of next week, I also have the same feeling for my bub! I’ve just had the feeling he’ll make an appearance before my birthday on the 25th, I hope I’m right! Getting so impatient now. He’s also measuring similar to your bub too, he was estimated 6lb 14oz yesterday 🥰

@Tacoboutit, also our due date buddy! I’m excited for you both having your dates booked in, it must be lovely knowing when you’re likely to meet your babies (if they don’t try to arrive early of course!)
