@squatternutbosh12 thanks for the reply. I really am not sure what the "can insist/can't in the US is on C sections", I think that if I push for it, I will probably be given one, but it helps if I talk to the right doctor. My general take on it right now is that doctors here are very "my practice has this mentality", but the main doctor will be away the week of delivery, I won't see the younger one for another 2 weeks, as the older one wants to handle me until she leaves, so i'll be in delivery week at the point I can have the real delivery discussion. When I went for another fluid measurement scan today the sonographer said he is still breach and unlikely to flip as there is such low fluid that it will be very hard for him. So odds are now in my favour that it will be granted through one method or another. I think if i was being offered an indiuction at 39 weeks it would feel very different vs 36 or so, and I don't want to stress the baby out, knowing that my DD spent 3 weeks in the NICU, any day that I can cut off that time by any means, i'm willing to do. I hate having to plead my case, i'm just not a pushy person in general, but there's no point in trying for another 2 weeks, assuming i'm even allowed to go that far. The low fluid is back down to 5 cm today, and it was 7 last week after a few rounds of IV fluids. If it keeps reducing they will probably get him out sooner. Currently drinking so much water that I feel like a damn camel :)
@theotherfossilsister that is incredible to get from 29 to almost 35 weeks, and also that your little one grew (mind blown at that)!! Well done you! Can I ask if you have been doing anything that you think has been helping? My doctor basically said if it is a placenta issue that nothing will change really, but i'm chugging water, eating so much protein that I feel like the rock, and trying to get good sleep. Basically i'll do whatever I can, even if that isn't much.
@PopGoesBang make sure you have an extra long phone charger, best advice i've been given when it's come to hospitals. The wall sockets are rarely within 6 ft of the bed, when they even work :)
