@Danani yes I'm exactly the same, I used to see like movement across my belly, but now it feels more just like that rolling movement and sometimes like @Coco9910 I can feel the bum sticking out more, but haven't yet had the thing people say where you can see a whole foot or hand sticking out! I think they are just facing inwards or something!

@Danani That sounds quite normal to me (I'm 31 weeks). Apparently the kicking can get less intense as you get closer to your due date as the baby has less room to move around.

@strawberrysummer19 I would give a call if your concerned. I'm sure they'd rather you call than sit worrying / stressing!

I definitely have some days where baby doesn't move as much or I don't feel it as much. BUT I have always felt them move.
Baby doesn't seem to have much of a pattern though & it changes every fortnight I feel 😂

Since baby has been head down I've not had the same "sharp" movements & they feel much more rolly/jiggly with a few kicks. When baby was breech it felt like they were trying to beat their way out of my cervix at times 😂

I'm okay - still a bit of back pain but nothing like it was. Been getting lightening crotch so definitely think she's moving herself on down 🙈😂
Didn't get checked, figured since I was feeling better it'd be a waste of time but if I experience it again or it becomes even more intense I'll get checked out :)

@Danani My movements have been less kicks now & more just feeling her move but she'll definitely give me a good hard kick every now & again 🙈😂 I typically have her bum in my ribs too 😩😂

@strawberrysummer19 Hope you're okay lovely! It's so hard to know what's normal & not when this is the first time experiencing pregnancy 😩

So I did call and I came straight in

Went straight on monitor and ctg in midwives option was fine

Baby's heart rate dropped to 100 at lowest and 160 at highest ! She explained that's normal and something to do with the nervous system and what they want to see

My issue is I didn't feel any movements despite having to push a button when I felt them

Because I didn't feel any she said would I like to be admitted for over night monitoring ?!
Don't really want to make that decision myself
Yes if there's a need no if I have the choice ?!

She's running it past the dr so just waiting to see what they say

But will push for their medical opinion

My worry is just coz her heartbeat is there she may be unwell if I can't feel her?

Feeling so confused and anxious

Not option midwife's opinion was that the ctg was all good x

@strawberrysummer19 is there anything you usually do that gets baby partying?
Like caffeine / cold from ice lollies maybe you could try when you are back home?

They've let me go home, Dr is happy with ctg but sending me for an urgent scan

But I'm having growth scans and my next one is next Tuesday

But I won't say no to an extra scan

Let's hope she's back to moving from now on x

@strawberrysummer19 awww sending you a big squeeze lovey! I can imagine how worried you must have been/be. The only extra reassurance I can offer is: you've gone in, you got things checked out and doctor and midwife were both happy for you to go home. If they were worried about anything, they would have taken a different course of action! Have some dinner, a cold drink, something sweet and sugary, and then lay down and relax. I hope little bubbs will make an appearance, and you are absolutely right: it really must have to do with position! xxx

@strawberrysummer19 as @Danani says I'm sure they wouldn't have let you go home if there were concerns.

I had a day last week where it got to about 8pm & I couldn't remember when I last felt baby. Got a bit worried then once I sat down for more than 2 minutes & relaxed I felt baby. Wasn't much but then when I lay down to sleep around 11 baby decided to properly wake up!
Baby has since decided that between 10:30-11:30 & around 04:00 is party time & has actually kept me awake or woke me up 😂
So maybe just adjusting routine a bit.

Thanks everyone I felt so worried yesterday and hated the fact I had to chose to be admitted or not! Kept thinking how uncomfortable I'd be in hospital and my daughter at home who thought I'd popped to the midwife - to then not come home and do school run the next day
I know I'd have to if they told me to I'd obviously do the right thing by baby but it made the decision feel so burdened!!!!

Anyway....not much movements when I got home

I was fasting from 10pm and felt I couldn't really eat as I was so sick with worry from the day
And wanted to go easy on the sugar! So that stresses me out - my diabetes check is this morning
So the evening was horrid so took myself to bed at 8:45 as did my fiancé who was up at 430

So I'm up and hungry! But can't eat until it's over at 11am!

Anyway, I've been woken up with kicks and rolls all on my left hand side - which is quite literally the best feeling ever!!!

I'm packing my hospital bag this week

Yesterday was a kick up the bum incase I needed to stay in nothing is packed

So just packing a little hold-all for me to keep on house so fiancé can grab if needed x

Morning, I haven't been able to keep up COVID really knocked me about but I'm starting to feel better today thankfully! Going to take a few more days off work even though my boss is being abit pushy for me to go back tomorrow, she can stick it, I've mentally checked out of work anyway.

@strawberrysummer19 Glad little one woke up for you in the end.. they do know how to scare us.

I went back to work the day I tested negative
Ha s a funny turn, went to triage to get checked over and think I just went back to early
Such a shame your jobs like that - just take your time - I wish I had a couple more days

@strawberrysummer19 aaah I'm so glad to hear you woke up to movements today 🥰that's great news! Yeah I bet it makes you think the hospital bag should just be packed from now just in case. I'll be trying to finalise mine as well. Hope your GD test goes okay today.

@ChinChilly glad you are feeling better and don't rush back to work. They really shouldn't be pressurising you to return!

The drink is absolutely fine! I quite enjoyed having something to drink after being so bloody hungry!

Ah that's a relief 😅 glad the drink was alright! I bet that sugary drink has made the baby go a bit hyper after no food!

I've got my first load of baby clothes on to wash & just had my email to say my baby box will be delivered in the next week!
I have an absolute mountain of 0-3 month clothes to get through - like big massive ikea bag full 🙈😂
Hand me downs are great until you remember you need to wash everything first 😬😂 Praying the weather stays nice over the week 🤞🏻😂

Have to agree it's a very supportive group, so different and nice to have women at the exact same stage to bounce things off of this time round 🤗.

Next2me came yesterday, buggy ordered on Saturday and being delivered today and second hand Tripp Trapp coming this week- we're finally getting somewhere!! The health visitor came today- was lovely and assured us that she's not worried that we're not 100% baby-proofed yet. She was just more interested in the logistics surrounding the birth etc, for arranging check ups and care when we get home from the hospital. 7 weeks to due date today for me 😱👶😍
