@InkyPaper thinking of you today. The clothes sounds lovely and I’m sure today will go great. I’ll keep checking in!
@Minster2012 X’s comments sound really, really hurtful but I think you’re right about comments like that being directed at those who are the safety net. We actually had a training session today at school about attachment and a lot of the research said that children often lash out at those who are their safety net and that love and consistency is what they crave. It must help to know that other toddlers are similar with new siblings on the way? Hugs though, it sounds very tough. Excellent news on the dry nights though. I’m sure your DH would be happy to help get colostrum if that’s how it’s done!
@bez91 , I’m the same as @inky finding out as soon as we can. I’m far too impatient. I also vote (with the others) for telling your boss to do one. Not your fault they were late hiring. Maybe a zoom training session with your replacement could work? Glad that the milkshake helped to ease DD’s walk.
@DKDK123 you have a brilliant mindset with appreciating the pregnancy- I’ll try and channel that if/when I get there, but it’s also okay to feel sorry for yourself! I’m glad that you’ve stopped driving, and it’s lovely that DH is being so caring. Yay for last week of work and Emily hanging on in there! Gosh, what a lot of information from one scan. I’m glad that there’s lots of positives and both you and Emily are feeling strong- that’s definitely the most important thing.
@kaylsd yay for viability week! An exciting milestone!
@Lexber I’ll go against the negative crowd and say double cuteness! It’s lovely to hear how excited your girls are.
@Franklydear people can be so backwards and judgemental. It’s so good to have as many people as possible like you advocating for others. I cannot believe children are still treated like that! A lady at my school said that ‘once you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism’ and I thought that was a lovely way of establishing that people with autism are all individuals and unique.
@larrythelizard my sister always gets cold sores the second she gets run down. Maybe it is that? There is a brilliant cream thing for it called acyclovir I think.
@paintfairy oh how cute, with your girl’s first pony! I love that! And yay for the third trimester! Ffs on the joiner, DH would be best to ring him surely? You’re pregnant! Also, I think I’d wait for someone better for the banisters if you can?
@whatwonder I’m 10+4 today- counting down until 12 weeks! Hope that you are feeling better after the sickness.
@Kate105 oh no! I don’t know how you coped with that… but I am slightly amused that another child cried because he was crying! Maybe this is the negative side after he’s done so well sleeping? I your you at least get a good tea after a rubbish sandwich!
Well, I was back at work today and feeling really nauseous and tired all day. Turns out that I need a midday nap. I’m hoping all of this is good news that things are going well! Hoping to get my scan date through this week- my booking in appointment is on Wednesday morning. Also, I think I’ve added some of you on Instagram… although I’m not entirely sure yet who is who!
