@Minster2012 I have names in bold in a little grey highlighter, I used to have green for the op and pink for me, and now mine is green too, why did they break it? I like Vaughan, I tried Hermione the first time round but dh wouldn’t have it, didn’t need it anyway, and does your dh not have enough changes for a while? time to try something really stressful, right?

@Minster2012 brave of DH. Since it is his idea, I vote he deals with any mishaps? How’s your big dog? My big pup is in trouble today after chasing a skateboarder in the park. She was very excited to see one for the first time! Your pain sounds awful, definitely try to get relief from an earlier section/the GP. How is it today?

@Franklydear I love Hermione! DH has officially vetoed both that and Lyra… and a lot of other supposedly geeky book names. Glad that you’re home and you’ve had a lovely trip. So sad about the cousin gang. I can empathise with you, and the SIL. Loss is so hard.

@paintfairy I was actually thinking about struggles with fertility the other day. I think hormonal contraception has a lot to answer for. So cool that you can feel the kicks so strongly!

@bez91 I’m convinced I’m having a boy … based on absolutely nothing! I must watch the Yorkshire Midwives, my DH is clueless! To be fair, I don’t think I’m much better. Most of what I know is from this thread!

Whooo! I’m officially on the list of bumps! I felt nauseous and headachy before. I closed my eyes on the sofa and ended up having a 2 hour nap with the (very large) pup! I would normally think this was a waste of a Saturday, but she was so cute snuggled in!

Bloody hell @Minster2012 that is brave, lots of luck with it... our DS who is 5 still has the odd wee overnight, we put him to bed in pants and switch to overnight pull ups before we go to bed. 🤫

PIL went home today; was good to see them. At a friends for a natter and a Chinese takeaway this evening. The indigestion is REAL though. Brought my bottle of Peptac along.

Not sure where the time is going, am so disorganised this time and feels a bit scary being 30 weeks on Tuesday.

@BellatrixK that's def not a waste of a Saturday, you gotta listen to your body now. big dogs paw/leg is getting better but only with complete crate rest so that's still in order. I hope yours was ok after meeting a skateboarder!

@feliznavidad2 gosh 30 weeks yes that does seem to have flown by! Yeah he's been dry except one night for a week & only a few nappies left so worth a try 2 years after day training though!

Well it was ok, DS had a late night as I took him to a games night with bingo & a beetle drive & his mates were there so he went bed after nearly 10 anyway, DH then stayed up to watch the boxing so I realised at 1am he must be sleeping in the spare room so DS would've woken me up but he didn't 🎉until 6.50 and dry! Bloody was hoping for more of a lie in than that though but I'll take it, we are letting DH sleep in. So that's good, one dry late night done now we gotta see how he is going to bed earlier.

I'm resting a lot more, less walking & I've got some sciatica cushions which seem to help so I felt more human yesterday. I just really hope it goes after birth

Oh but I was dreaming of trying to harvest colostrum last night & thought was gonna wake up leaking but nope 😂

Not long to find out the plan now @DKDK123 hope you're feeling ok? I've found more pressure does help with the milking a cow analogy! I'm just struggling to get a spare half an hour like 3 times a day to do it in peace, DD and DH feel the need to follow me round the house at the moment 🤷‍♀️ with you on the driving, it's almost like compromise between squashing baby or putting life at risk anyway because you can't sufficiently reach the peddles 😂

@larrythelizard ooh Peak District just a 10 min drive away from where I am, the weather has been pretty good, hope you've had a good weekend!

Last week at work pending, my manager has emailed me this morning (it is still Sunday right!) my replacement starts this week (well timed, better late than never🙄) he wants me to spend as much time as possible with them this week. Not ideal as I'm supposed to be wfh, don't fancy the commute into the city every day, how will I function without my 20 min power nap a day? How will I have time to colostrum harvest? If I go into fast labour I won't be giving birth at my hospital. I'm probably overthinking it all but I just want to say no I can't sorry. DH doesn't know he's asked me, he'd go mad 🙈

@Minster2012 my posts are no longer pink. Annoying. And we have 2 cars but none really fit for purpose. My pick up truck (DH won't drive it) and a small car that you can't fit dogs and prams in. Its also full of dog hair. We need a family type car. What is a beetle drive? 🤔 OMG MAFSA. @kaylsd I do hope Jackson will see her for what she is. But last night's (the final dinner party is the one we watched) really pissed me off when he was basically justifying her behaviour. So maybe he is already blind to it. I'm looking forward to Mondays episode.

So this morning I asked him to rub it. Honestly the hardship. Then after 3 seconds he gave up. Proceeded to roll over and be on his phone. He's really pissing me off lately as he's glued to it. At night when we are watching TV. But in bed it really fucks me off. Good job we don't need to make babies any more. An hour he was on it before getting up (I just got up). Now he keeps coming down with woes about his computer desk and I am like- what do you want me to do about it? Not interested! 🤬 knob.

@Minster2012 well done ds, you’re ready when you’re ready, having a Spanish biscuits breakfast, we managed to bring a bit of food, just woke up but gotta be catch up day, I want to put everything away today and make sure we have uniforms, work clothes, etc.... eek before leaving was a bit chaotic and house is a bit of a mess

MN is actually really annoying me now I can’t see anybody post and always says there’s new notifications but error when loading -.- so I can’t see my tagged notifications or anyone else’s 😞😞😞 just had to log on internet to post this as it kept saying error retry!!! How bloody annoying

Nothing to report for me other than it’s officially viability week today 🥳 don’t know why but I feel really emotional with it today 🥺 spending the day going to b&q getting our hallway paint, going for a olive colour for abit of a standout! Be nice when our house isn’t upside down! Plasters drying in our bedroom and the upstairs landing then downstairs hallway will be getting done on Thursday then the painting commences :) happy Sunday everybody! My DH best friends wife gave birth this morning at the hospital we’ve chosen to change to and had a lovely experience so always lovely to hear :) starting my last set of night shifts from tomorrow then after Wednesday night no more until post maternity life 🥳🥳🥳

@paintfairy ahh I see on the car front. I've been playing pram/dog crate Tetris this morning (but it won't let me load pictures on here???). The pram fits easily when it just had its fabrics on (which can be used from newborn too) but we prefer the carrycot. The small one I can make fit but not the big one. Welcome to the world of cramp it's not fun nor is an annoying DH. A beetle drive is where you have to roll certain numbers on a dice to build a beetle the fastest.

@bez91 im with the others, a firm "I'm afraid I'm WFH as it's actually unsafe for me to drive now" & repeat, it's not your fault they left it late to recruit. You are top priority

In other news I've told DH I'm officially entering into "my confinement" like the olden days

And I'm having real issues with DS being horrible to me when DH is leaving the building (to dog walk for instance), hitting me, growling at me, saying he hates me, then this morning he went to aggressively throw a bucket of water over me saying "go dead mummy I only want daddy" (we were in garden sat down, DH went to walk dog). I was so shocked I burst into tears. I have no idea what appropriate discipline there is for this or how to stop it. It's really upsetting me & DH too

@Minster2012 that's awful, I agree it needs sorting, ds used to want daddy more, but it changed over the years, even now he still sometimes says he doesn't have to make an effort with me, as he knows I'll always be there, but sometimes daddies leave, he doesn't believe his will, but neither did Tommy, or Larry or Harry.... (not their real names), I can't offer a practical solution, only a hug

Fantastic weekend away, cottage we were in had a load of other cottages with a swimming pool and a big garden complete with park area so we didn't go anywhere yesterday. Toddlers weren't too argumentative which suprised us all. Went to Carsington Water today before heading home which was beautiful!

@Minster2012 I suspect that X can sense that you can't give him your full attention and he can't understand why so is being a horrible horrible child instead of saying, 'mum, somethings changed and I'm not sure why' (if it helps DS properly punishes DH when he goes away and it takes him a couple of days to even acknowledge his presence when he's back). It's shit but probably just a case of remaining calm and consistent and love bombing him a bit.

Yes @Minster2012 - didn't @DKDK123 say that her DS was being a bit the same? I think they maybe all go through that a little anyway but they'll definitely sense a change. No idea what you are supposed to do about it though.
@larrythelizard i forgot to say- re your stitch. Some days i can walk fine. Other days i get that stitch thing. Mine is like under my bump but to the right hand side. Its always in the same place. I walk along feeling i need to hold my bump up, but it doesn't help. 🤷‍♀️ It happened walking the dog last week when we went to the woods. Very unhelpful!

Ladies, i am fully unpacked, I cleaned the tank, which I found in surprisingly good shape, I catched up with the laundry and sorted the plants, only thing left to prepare the back packs for school and work, applaud me, please this does not happens often

Sounds similar @paintfairy - I don't know if it's connected to the pain I get flapping my legs when I turn over at night? I didn't get any pain on Friday night but was pretty idle on Friday day so I suspect activity levels are having an impact.

Well done @Franklydear I considered putting a wash on when we got home this afternoon but instead am going to wait for tomorrow so I can hang it on the line outside!

Thank you ladies, yes it's a lot going on for a child's mind and there are no right of wrong answers it's just upsetting as hell. He's so polite & lovely most of the time then literally switches to a growling aggressive menace so it's just very upsetting 😫

Hellooooo I am still alive just got really fucked off with the app not working! Covid dodging central here, I've had 3 people test positive so far this week after I've seen them. Starting to wonder if I'm a super spreader without even realising... 😂🤔 anyway desperately trying not to test positive this week because I have too much to do! And it's my birthday next Sunday so that would be very inconvenient 😂 not that I have big plans or anything but it's the principle!
