@Juno231 I have slightly dodgy tummy & 💩but so far ok, DH ok too. On the party wall thing surely it doesn't have to be of their choosing? You could call your local planning office for advice but I can't see any reason why their choice

@Minster2012 I think it is their choice from what I've briefly read online. If we then feel that surveyor hasn't been impartial we can get a second one of our choosing - but that's double the cost obviously and another delay. Honestly madness - what do they think we're gonna do that's so wrong if it's already been approved by so many trade professionals? Just tummy, not vomming yet? At least that's the better end I suppose... If you still had pregnancy weight to lose I imagine this will it gone lol!

Well done DD on settling a bit better @bez91 although the double edged sword is that he'll snore through all the night wakings from Z and you'll accidentally smother him then you'll have to do it all on your own as a single parent!

I've learned from MN that maternity stuff is deffo not the same everywhere @InkyPaper so who knows what their rules are!

@bez91 how did it feel to have a full grown human in your bed last night I bet it was a odd sensation, hopefully it’s the start of normality again for you! I cannot wait for the day to be seeing down there again, probably looking like something out of scar face right now and god help to think of DH will start helping me, he’ll imprint a A on the front, tried a heart once for valentines went wrong ended up having to be fully off 🤣🤣🤣🫠

@larrythelizard it’s like the sacrifices people doesn’t discuss in pregnancy like a historical myth how there’s a risk factor to being slashed or loose pubes 🤣 good luck with your holiday wax hopefully the professional or whoever is doing it for you doesn’t sacrifice too much for you!

Well I’m currently sat in antenatal day clinic because my blood pressures up and my hands and feet are swollen to point my rings have had to be removed… let’s hope it’s the weather what’s caused it and nothing else 🙈🙈🙈

All ok here, bit hot and bothered. 36 weeks, started colostrum harvesting today (woop?) Also a bit terrifying that @Minster2012 had little B six days from where I am now... 😮

@feliznavidad2 green light from anti natal! Bubs was on the monitor for 20 mins and was dancing in my womb and hickups at one point and I have a UTI 🥹 the midwife told me off for not drinking enough 🤭🙈

I've got 36 week growth scan on Friday and Consultant appt after so hopefully will know a bit more then... Guess it depends how she's growing/whether excess fluid has improved.

@kaylsd glad to hear everything ok and easily treated, did best thing getting checked out! I am watching Love Island for the first time, watching a day behind though so I'll catch up later. Z is very colicky so he rudely screams through the live Love Island on an evening.

@feliznavidad2 wow 36 weeks! how's the colostrum harvesting going? I found it mega frustrating at first as got nothing, it took a good 10 days of perseverance to get anything so keep going if there isn't a lot but on the flip it is a lot of effort for seemingly very little 😆

@kaylsd shame you've joined the uti club! I've had two so far this pregnancy and keep thinking there's plenty of time for a third one...

Another antenatal class done last night - men got kicked out for the final 40 min to cover off the gross postnatal stuff. The midwife was keen to point out that she only does this because the women are more likely to open up and ask questions if the men are out of the room. Which turned out to be true - I even had one of the other girls get down into a yoga pose for me to show me to relax my pelvic floor - and another tell us all about how she uses a stool for pooping. That definitely wouldn't have happened with the men there!😂

@feliznavidad2 get the bags packed but 🤞🏻the Friday scan shows good news

watch it now in the morning when doing breakfast feed so I'm on it now! DH won't have it on and last night neither of us got a chance to watch anything as B was wanting to sleep at around 7pm but that was before DH came back & X was being a pain so we didn't put her to bed I just gave her to DH & then she majorly woke up to the point where I was trying to get her to sleep from 8-9.30 then he took over whilst I slept & he woke me at 10.30 to say she was asleep so I went to bed properly. Argh not missing the "bedtime" sleep cues again ffs

@Juno231 I've heard of the stool for pooping thing! Is it hard to poop after a vag birth? Cos bloody hell the pooping after c section was AWFUL. B seems to like love island she's here content watching

So ladies, X better though he woke up hungry in the night & got in with DH which is twice now (we've never slept with him in the bed & don't want this to be a thing), he's gone to preschool & bloody hell I've just thrown up. After coughing, my throat is razors but I don't actually FEEL ill 🤒
Argh and it's shit drizzly weather here.

So annoying as a mate asked if I wanted to go see the killers on Saturday (abandoning the kids!) and leave DH in charge but I'm not sure it's a good idea as everyone going has kids/babies

@Juno231 if he's anything like DH then probably both 😆 2 UTIs so far? No fun at all! It's so glamorous being female full stop, I did have thrush a fair few times in pregnancy. I've been using a stool 😂 as advised after my birth, it's quite handy as we have a little step DD used to get onto the loo so it doubles up!
@Minster2012 with the 💩 after a section, I've always been curious is that because of your pelvic floor that it's horrendous?
Arggg that's the same with DD she's never been one to sleep with us until now, we all just beee sleep. We're managing her staying in her own bed about 2/3 times a week which means DH not had any night duties since Z was born and I could do with a little break 🤦🏼‍♀️
Go to The Killers, especially if everyone else going has kids, don't know why that doesn't me you can't 😊 although maybe not if you're still ill! Thought you'd escaped it 😫

@bez91 the killers I'm worried about going spreading germs & still not feeling great, it's in Manchester so a long drive there & back too. The pooping is cos they move everything around inside apparently when getting baby out, it's cos of the mess inside I got told, moving your bowels etc upsetting the rhythm but I was still drinking lactolose for 3 weeks. That's real progress with DD too on the staying in bed, well done!

@Juno231 Thankyou!! You're right some days I'm so harsh on myself like the day I discovered the stretch mark, I sobbed😂😂 then other days I tell myself to grow up, I'm growing a long awaited human, I'll accept the stretch mark for him/her! I'm so glad you're happy with your body, you look amazing!!

@Minster2012 aren't they lovely books!! Hahaha definitely missing the point! My mum ordered the Muhammad Ali one, Martin Luther king and David Attenborough! Urghh sorry you caught the bug!! There's been lots round here with it too, fingers crossed I avoid it!!

@InkyPaper exciting count down to gender scan!! It's just so weird isn't it, I'd never do it to someone!! All bumps are different shapes and sizes, all beautiful though!

@kaylsd well done for getting checked, it really is always best isn't it!! I'm definitely getting the constipated side effect from those iron tablets😩 I'm half dreading half excited for the move, I'm going to feel so helpless not being able to do much!! Oh sciatica really is the devil!! YouTube stretches and maybe if it continues order a shakti mat off Amazon, that usually eases mine!! How exciting you finish for mat leave next Friday!!! You can start to nest then! Definitely at the stage of not being able to see anything whilst shaving, I haven't done mine in a couple of weeks because I'm nervous to cut myself😂 it's this weekends task!!

@bez91 hahaha bloody love pie and chips!! Definitely will be taking it easy, my job is to delegate to OH's friends and empty baby boxes! Bet it was weird sharing a bed with DH again😂 glad DD is improving with the wake ups!!

So todays the day me and my mum start loading our cars ready to do trips to the house tomorrow!! I'm so so excited I can't believe after all the set backs the day is almost here!! We've been in direct contact with the vendors because of how shit estate agents have been, and they said the estate agents have told them to leave their key for us and they're expecting everything to be completed for their house by 1, so hopefully by 1:30 we can start to move in!! Also hilarious how the estate agents haven't told us any of this, it's the vendors that have?? OH is on a training course to refresh for a big project at work next week though so is hoping to try and get away for 2, him and his friend are doing trips to my mums, his mums and his grandmas to get all the furniture then 2 more of his friends are waiting at the house to off load the furniture off the van and into the house, whilst me and mum mum transfer over light smaller things in cars!! It really will be a busy day but so excited to be getting in!!

Also quick question, how long before you're all due are you finishing for mat leave??

I'm starting mat leave on my due date but my last day in the office will be the Friday before - I'm taking 3 days annual leave to bridge the gap. Mind you that's purely because I don't have any pains or aches so far.

@Minster2012 ooh when do you have to decide on the killers by? I figure if it's been 48h since your last vom you'd be okay to go... Yeah the poops are bad as you usually end up constipated from the painkillers, combined with stitches... ouch

@bez91 to add to what minster said - I think the anaesthesia used for a c section also really messes with digestion

OH is keen on us starting to pack the hospital bag this weekend - I think he's getting nervous!
