Had my appt with the midwife today, results all good but got the usual array of dire warnings about my weight and how that plus the PCOS means I'm at a high risk for gestational diabetes. Which, fine. I totally understand they have to tell me this stuff and they have a job to do, but I resent being told to eat more fruit and vegetables like they assume I just live off takeaways. I have been struggling with my weight since I was 6, if vegetables could solve all my life problems I would be a size 8 right now (I'm a 14). I shouldn't get annoyed but honestly, every time I see a medical professional they politely tell me I'm fat and should eat more healthily without even asking what my daily diet is. It's so disheartening.
@paintfairy tbh I probably wouldn't have thought to take it down at the time anyway, sounded like a scary experience 😔 hurray for getting a new car though!!
@Vil10 I can't believe you're 28 weeks now! Where is the time going?!
@larrythelizard glad you had a good time in France 😊 did you get your Matb1 in the end?
@Minster2012 look after yourself! ❤️ Glad DH is redeeming himself. Hurray for Bronte's weight gain! It's impressive that person's husband managed to deliver a breech baby - is everyone OK now?!

@BellatrixK I'm having the same thing with clothes! Jeans are too tight, maternity jeans are enormous 🙈 there needs to be an in-between option!
