@Franklydear yes nice SIL, one of the nice ones, I have many nice ones. other one didn't even comment on Bronte's arrival on family WhatsApp when I put it, which is interesting bearing in mind I was the first person to congratulate on the group after their DS' arrival was announced in Dec. Least it's better being the bigger person I guess.

feliznavidad2 · 09/05/2022 20:51

Congratulations @bez91 on the birth of your beautiful boy! Hope you're both doing well.

Is tomorrow the day @Lexber? 🙌🏻

That's fab news @Minster2012 - have been reading, glad Bronte is gaining! Good work Mrs! Sorry to hear about your infection though, sending you a hug. Glad you're having a lay down, OH will have to get on with being a slave for a bit.

You home now @larrythelizard ?

Lovely photos of your babes @Lexber they're dreamy!

I'm shattered, went for a three mile walk with OH and his Dad who's visiting from Scotland today. Feeling v waddly. 32 weeks tomorrow. Not sure where the eff the time is going.

feliznavidad2 · 09/05/2022 22:21

Fuggs sake, baby brain. The 'is tomorrow the day?' is for @DKDK123 of course! Blush

Franklydear · 10/05/2022 06:09

@Minster2012 always better to be the bigger person, you don’t have it in you to not be nicer, don’t give her head space, my sil got her scar infected, same cause a dh that’ll only do what he had to, it’ll be fine but take it easy, get that bell, it’s perfectly normal to lose a bit of weight after birth and then get back up, it’s all good
@larrythelizard bar the food, I hope you had a nice visit, even if strange not to take ds, and then them back here in a bit, fantastic
whats happening with @DKDK123 ? I think it’s her I saw in hospital in insta, I swear I need a spreadsheet with checked identities and code names, encryption of course like mi6 keeps its agents😂
@feliznavidad2 I was wondering what on earth can @Lexber have on at this stage? Loving the babies and constant supply of pics, you are making having twins appealing....

larrythelizard · 10/05/2022 07:25

Yep home sweet home @feliznavidad2 - 32 weeks...gosh that really is flying!!

Excellent work from Bronte getting some weight bAck on @Minster2012 and DH clearly knew he was out of order...let's hope he continues to step up! Hope your wound dries out soon and you can get some pants back on!

Also loving the pics of the super twins @Lexber!

Was lovely to see my sister @Franklydear and the right decision not to take DS, he had a lovely time at home!

MW appt today. Have reminded her about Mat1b 3 times, do we think she'll have remembered?!

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 10/05/2022 07:56

@larrythelizard I'm going for no to remembering! I think midwives have to be scatty...we have a fleece here from our midwife yesterday & she forgot to bring a sharps bin

Yes hopefully it's this morning now for @DKDK123

Laid down BF. DH taking DS to preschool, and I've left the tv remote the other side of the room ffs

Minster2012 · 10/05/2022 07:56

God your pregnant is flying @feliznavidad2!!

bez91 · 10/05/2022 08:23

Well, first night home was hard. The little chap won't be put down and feeding is tough with wrecked nipples, especially on 6 hours of cat naps since Saturday afternoon 😴 hopefully community midwife can help with latch today that hospital said was fine 😩
Neighbours already appear to have relocated bedrooms 🙈

larrythelizard · 10/05/2022 08:55

Time for Netflix on your phone @Minster2012?!

It'll get easier @bez91! Would nipples shields help? I found the hospital didn't really care with DS as he was feeding but he ended up having a tongue tie - can you get the HV to check for it? What did DD make of him?!

OP posts:
bez91 · 10/05/2022 10:06

Thanks @larrythelizard tried shields, they've made it a little more sore actually like blistering - Persevering in pain 😬 supplemented this morning with FF just so DD could get near him properly and he'd settle. She's not given him back since 🙈

Minster2012 · 10/05/2022 10:18

@bez91 my friend helped my nipples (yep!) by suggesting after every feed to squeeze colostrum/milk out & rub it over your nipple as the natural healer. Lovely for DD though?

@larrythelizard I've relocated after a shower (luxury!) & laid with foof out trying to get sticky stuff off, & eating Xmas chocs. Oh feeding time now!

@Franklydear yeah bigger person mehhhhh

Juno231 · 10/05/2022 11:46

@larrythelizard the mat1b is a paper slip that needs two lines filled out and her signature - my MW did in front of me in 10 seconds so don't let her get away with it and just make her do it on the spot!

@Minster2012 I'm sorry but your OH is not sounding great atm! Just goes to show how much he's relied on you dealing with anything difficult relating to X! And yes omg does he not realise you've had major surgery?? Fantastic news on Bronte putting on weight again though!

Sorry for just briefly poking my head in - i promise I read what everyone is saying daily, I just never seem to have the headspace to respond to all of it!

@DKDK123 thinking of you and hope all goes well with your hospital stay and delivery!

@bez91 congratulations!!! Zachary looks angelic in that photo with his little hands together like that ❤️ how are you doing now?

Am I the only one who loves reading birth stories? I must read them daily on the positive birth company's FB page 😁.

Minster2012 · 10/05/2022 11:56

He def had a down night the other night @Juno231 with dummy out the pram but he's pulled it back round now fortunately 😂I've just phoned him to bring me snacks & supplies as the bell wouldn't have reached 😂I love a birth story too it's not just you!

Someone on our May group Facebook page said her husband delivered her breech baby in the car?! How does that happen??

larrythelizard · 10/05/2022 12:11

@bez91 silver cups also meant to help with healing? Lovely about DD 🥰🥰🥰

Sounds like an excellent set-up @Minster2012 although I am questioning how you have Xmas chocs left?!

Thanks @Juno231 i can't remember from last time! Need to give it to work fairly shortly so could do with it today!

Can't believe all the May babies are already here 😅 @whatwonder next then!

Juno231 · 10/05/2022 17:20

Can't believe @DKDK123 had her baby exactly on the 10th of May as predicted!

larrythelizard · 10/05/2022 17:43

That's if @2under2in2022 doesn't get there first @Juno231!

I have a couple of work meetings coming up that I want to look OK for and my existing clothes are not going to work. Why are most maternity clothes made of jersey fabric or floral or frilly sleeves?! I wear very little of those in normal life! Also whilst I'm ranting, what is with models who are not actually preggers and just have a stick on bump!!

Minster2012 · 10/05/2022 17:50

@2under2in2022 giving birth on their date I assume?

@larrythelizard omg yes the "model is not pregnant" bullshit!! What kind of thing do you want??

@DKDK123 yeyyyyyyyy come on Emily that's awesome 👏🏻 😍💕🌈

larrythelizard · 10/05/2022 17:55

Baby before @whatwonder (EDD on the list is 5th June) @2under2in2022 - from what you said before you were working day to day before!!

Oh we're on a ride and a half and I think she's making her feelings known about it... 😂

We're dealing with

Anti-Cw antibodies, hypertension, risk of another FMH & 17 hours of not meeting CTG criteria.

I think I've been pregnant about 84 years.,.

We're hoping to get to 36 weeks but each day is a bonus!

I’m loving all of the babies… what an exciting week!

@Minster2012 I’m so pleased to hear that Brontë is doing well. And very, very glad that DH is redeeming himself! Sometimes men need a little wobble! Breech? In a car?? Wow. Terrifying!

@larrythelizard glad to see that you’re back to DS, bet that you both missed your cuddles. But it’s lovely he had such a nice time with family. And that you could spend proper time with your sister and niece. Yeah, I’m really not a fan of maternity clothes… I just can’t fit into normal trousers after lunch, so I bought maternity trousers in my normal size and they are HUGE! Almost fell down.

@bez91 it’s so so cute to hear about DD being such a loving big sister. Be very gentle with yourself this week, you will get there. Zachary looks so adorable in your photos.

I’m with @Juno231 I love to hear a birth story. Forewarned is forearmed!

Congratulations @DKDK123 and welcome to world Emily! Perfect timing gorgeous girl!

@2under2in2022 oh gosh, that is so so much to deal with. How are you feeling? Are you getting lots of support? Love the photo… it looks like she’s got her head in her hands!

I had a horrendous day yesterday with awful sickness - the puppy literally went and barked at DH until he came upstairs to comfort me! However, today, I’ve managed to eat actual meals, been on 2 dog walks… life is looking up! Roll on the second trimester!

whatwonder · 10/05/2022 20:07

Hi team! Sorry, have been a shit passenger lately. Have been really struggling with anxiety so trying to stay off MN otherwise it's too easy for me to doom scroll/do frantic searches. Baby is measuring a bit small (have a growth scan next week) but my mind keeps racing with low fluids, growth restrictions, issues with placenta, etc. and I was driving myself mad.

Anyways...

CONGRATS @bez91 and welcome baby Zac! Such a gorgeous photo and love the name. Hope the adjustment to being back home is going well, sounds like big sis is pretty stoked about her brother! 💙

Hope yesterday went well @DKDK123 excited to hear about how you and baby Emily are doing! I hope it was a nice and smooth section for you this time 💜

@Minster2012 STOP PICKING THINGS UP! honestly, they can live on the floor. Or DH can follow you around and pick up after you/see to your every need. The absolute cheek of him.

@2under2in2022 I hope things improve and you're able to get to 36 weeks! when will that be?

Will try to read through everything properly and do a big reply, but hope everyone is doing well, @larrythelizard is eating normally again and @Soph0105 can get PTSD to do his poos on the toilet again like a good lad 🙃
