@annlee3817 I totally understand your sentiments there. If they couldn't find my cervix I would also be worried, but you're right that it is probably just high/closed which is the best case. Glad your bleeding stopped, that is just such a horrible thing to go through at any stage of pregnancy! Pregnancy seems to even baffle doctors with the why things happen... the one up side is feeling them move now. Even with anterior placenta, i'm feeling some low down kicks some of the time, so that does really made me feel better. Hope you are the same!

LittlemissMama67 · 18/05/2022 22:17

I’ve got almost all clothes and slowly working through my other bits, I had my section date set for the 16th of September.. due on the 23rd however I’m being seen by the midwife every week now from 20 weeks onwards because I’ve had high blood pressure since 11 weeks. I have a feeling that if it is bad at the end they might bring it forward so trying to be prepared sooner rather than later

Butterflytulip · 19/05/2022 10:59

@LittlemissMama67 hope you are ok. They will be watching out for pre eclampsia. Defo read up on signs and symptoms as if you feel worse etc you need to be seen as an emergency and not wait until your weekly appt with midwife.
😊

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 19/05/2022 11:02

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.

My little miss has moved over night! She has always been on my left hand side, this morning, I've woke up and she is on the right hand side and above my belly button. I felt some discomfort low down last night before I went to bed, that must have been her preparing to move.

HaresHoping · 20/05/2022 07:32

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the info on prams and travel systems you're getting. I watched some YouTube videos last night and we've decided on... the first deal we found 😂

Hopefully this bundle deal will continue and we'll go for this. I think it's a slightly older model which has made it a bit cheaper. I'm not fussed about having the latest pram tbh so works for us www.online4baby.com/for-baby/33048/Mamas-Papas-Flip-XT2-8pc-Essentials-Gemm-Car-Seat-Travel-System-with-Carrycot-ISOFIX-Base---Fossil-Grey

How is everyone this morning?

HaresHoping · 20/05/2022 07:34

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher must have felt so strange that baby has completely switched sides! Some of the movement feels pretty surreal doesn't it 😂

stimpyyouidiot · 20/05/2022 07:49

Has anyone ordered from Online4Baby? I found a travel system that had loads of extras and it just seemed too good to be true and when I went to checkout it wouldn't work, but also, I contacted their customer services and they responded with 'try this link instead'. I googled some reviews and there were loads about things not turning up or not able to return. I got panicky and felt like it was a bit dodgy so backed out of ir.

20viona · 20/05/2022 08:50

@stimpyyouidiot yeah online4baby are completely legit Iv had lots from them bargains too!

HaresHoping · 20/05/2022 08:54

Oh that's a good point @stimpyyouidiot thank you! I saw a YouTube video from them that made them seem legit... but good that you have had a good experience @20viona. Has anyone else had bad experiences with them?

stimpyyouidiot · 20/05/2022 09:08

I think it was just that the travel system was x amount. And for x amount + £1 included a bouncer, high chair, clip on chair seat thing, and something else I can't remember and I was a bit weirded out by the checkout issues, and the 'try this link instead'. It was a huge amount of money and it just worried me

Butterflytulip · 20/05/2022 09:08

Natural baby shower are fab, they always give 10-20% discount. Once you email them they respond really quick and best other sites and do free delivery.
I got our pram, snuz pod, sleeping bag, car seat, few other things in last pregnancy.

Belle2210 · 20/05/2022 10:04

Just catching up 😊. Can't believe how far on we all are already thinking back to how slow time went till 12 weeks!

I've been pretty on it with getting organised (for a change 😂) and I'm sure I'm nesting. Gutting out rooms all over the place. Travel set is ordered, 4 in 1 travel cot, bottles, prep machine, steralizer, baby bath some bits of clothes etc so getting there.

Kicks and movements have been pretty strong here on and off with an anterior placenta think because baby is still very happy lying transverse so it's all on either side.

24 weeks and I've had a pretty rough week. Had an espisode of blurry vision, headaches and sickness on and off. Spoke with midwifes about it but they're not worried because headaches were coming and going and sickness is just like the morning sicknesa I had before. Anyone else feeling rougher? Oh and the aches and pains are def kicking in too 😂.

Hope all the ill kiddies start to feel better soon 💕.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 20/05/2022 10:06

So I finally bit the bullet and ordered more stuff so pleased I am doing it I want the last weeks of my pregnancy to be chilled kinda like Xmas when you do it all early and don't have a mad dash 😂 xx

HaresHoping · 20/05/2022 13:03

@HaresHoping I noticed the reviews with that place are shocking I am going straight to the manufacture I cannot be dealing with defected baby stuff I am using discount codes to keep the cost down as second hand if I can find things in god condition xx

Butterflytulip · 20/05/2022 14:46

Anyone else on here with gestational diabetes?
I had my appt earlier in the week. The dietician was lovely, recommended bars that were healthy like nature valley protein bars and Alpen bars. Lovely sweet treat when fancy chocolate!
Iv started back at the gym, went twice this week.. just do 1 mins cross trainer, 10 mins bike and 20 minutes upper body weight. Trying to do more walking during day too. Will add in swimming next! Feels great to be active and try to control weight gain as iv already put on 5kg!! I'm not sure what's normal?!

I'm really glad I didn't order from them now! Happy to have said something x

Sweetbabydust1989 · 20/05/2022 21:23

To be pissed off that my sister in law got pregnant a few weeks after I announced my rainbow baby she planned it all as she was on the implant couldn't just let me have this she done it with all my pregnancies xx

madeleine85 · 20/05/2022 21:38

@Sweetbabydust1989 unfortunately you can't choose your in laws, or their reproductive plans. She is probably just excited and I think most people (myself included) don't understand how people with rainbow babies really feel, even though we try. Unless we have been there, I don't think we will ever really truly get it. Honestly you have been through hell and back. Her actions may feel insensitive to you, and i'm sorry you have to go through that. Just focus on yourself and your wonderful rainbow baby. You have 3-4 months left. When your little one comes you're going to be so busy that you won't give 2 poops about what you SIL is up to :). On the plus side, your little ones will be a similar age, so it will make for good play times for them growing up! Try to not let an emotional time get in the way of relationships, as hard as that seems at the time.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 20/05/2022 21:44

@madeleine85 we didn't speak at all we have quite a rocky relationship due to a family dispute I speak to my brother but not her.. she has 3 kids this is her 4th she has done 3 pregnancies after my kids and one after my other sister in law she was the one who messaged to warn me that news would be coming my way thankfully this sister in law is lovely and we get on so well. Honestly she will never no what we went through she is that type of person she has to be the last one to do something so it's fresh she did it with the wedding my sister got married and she announced her wedding date which was literally a month after my sister she is crazy xx

Peauela · 20/05/2022 22:14

@Sweetbabydust1989 but you can't really expect people to put their life on hold because of someone else? They might have their own issues :)

Sweetbabydust1989 · 20/05/2022 22:18

@Peauela not the first time she has done this she does it a lot even my brother wasn't particularly happy he cried down the phone to my mum saying he didn't want anymore babies I feel bad for him she planned it all she was on the implant but obviously had it removed with knowing she never spoke to my brother about expanding the family x

Peauela · 21/05/2022 01:02

@Sweetbabydust1989 wow that's so weird. I mean having a child is a huge decision. I'm shocked she would do it just to get her way 😅 some people are unbelievable

annlee3817 · 21/05/2022 07:53

Just ordered our buggy! Got it in the outlet section of the out n about website. Got it in bright blue which I'm sure will cause a few comments as we're having a girl lol but we like it
