Continuing on from thread 5!

@Carebear99 where did you go? We had a great time, we've got another one booked at the end of June, and meant to be going both weekends in the half term, but hadn't booked yet and think we've left it too late.

We've got camp beds with memory foam mattress toppers, air beds have always set off my sciatica unfortunately

Scan tomorrow feeling very nervous on this one I just want it out the way now 🙈 I will have a sleepless night tonight on the up I can feel my little gremlin more 19 week left anyone else got scans this week xx

I don't think I've gained much so far (yet) although I haven't weighed for a while, but I also started off at about 13.5 stone, so I am conscious of how big I could get if I gain a lot in the coming weeks.

I am finding I just feel so conscious of people being able to see the bump, I never thought I'd feel this way. I've taken to wearing huge clothes to disguise it but that in turn makes me just look even bigger all over. I just feel like everyone I know looks me up and down the second they see me to try and bump spot, and I hate it.

I am lucky that I haven't felt rough at all really so have been able to carry on with exercise and if anything I've been trying to do a bit more than usual because I am so conscious of excessive weight gain, especially as I've already got to have the diabetes test next month so don't want them judging me too harshly at that.

@annlee3817 half ten tomorrow so scared no idea why I had a scan last week privately and they said all was well nhs ones really make you worry x

@Sweetbabydust1989 totally understandable, the anomaly scan always makes me worry, glad you haven't got to wait all day

@annlee3817 by the time I get my kids into breakfast club I can go straight away I just hope baby is ok xx

@Butterflytulip thanks lovely I am so so scared anxious to know my gremlin is ok lol I already no had it confirmed 3 time I have non routine scans because of being high risk and was told baby is a girl it's still not sunk in yet but want it confirmed tomorrow so I can start shopping lol I have 2 boys already so we are all shocked xx

@Butterflytulip oh definitely the last not doing this again I did say that after our first baby and here i am awaiting our third 😂 no more now not sure my nerves could take it anyway 😂 I do have 2 angel babies that never made the full journey they unfortunately got caught up in my right tube xx

@Butterflytulip I am ok with it now I will never have closure as we have no idea why it happened As after the second time I had a lap and dye with hysterscopy and everything came back completely clear we were so shocked clear tubes the lot I kept both my tubes as mine naturally miscarried without any op or medication but I have them both in my thoughts everyday this is our rainbow baby and a bonus my boys get a long awaited sister xx

Hi @annlee3817 we went to Oxfordshire, it was lovely. I hadn't been camping in years and I throughly enjoyed it. Glad you did too

Good luck today @Sweetbabydust1989 with your scan. I was so nervous for both my scans but thankfully all was well, I'm sure yours will be too xx

@Redapple21 thanks lovely on my way there now eating sweets to get baby moving I do not want to have to repeat this one if they can't get it all today 😂 I am so so nervous feeling sick 🤢 I just hope baby is ok xx

Ladies, can I ask for advice? I've been feeling regular wriggling movements for just over a week. However today the little one has been quiet. I'm 21 weeks today, do I need to contact the hospital?

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher always worth contacting them for advice, or your midwife if you have a number for them. It can change if they turn their back to your stomach, but better to ask them than not

So 20 week scan completed and baby is lovely and healthy she did give the poor girl trouble as she was very active so taking measurements took longer 🙈 they all confirmed baby is definitely a little girl too no dangly bits hiding 😂 I can finally relax now another 3 more scans to go now xx

@annlee3817 kinda regret eating those sweets now as she was being naughty diva in the making 🙈😂 everytime they tried to get the feet she would swing them out the way 😂oh another plus I don't need a stitch cervical length hasn't changed. Shame I didn't get my paper work printer was broken 🙄 will get it in the post. She weighs roughly a pound atm.. my boys were to calm in the womb this one is definitely working out some dance routines in there and when trying to check her hand she kept putting them over her face as if to say when is this over 😂 xx

Think I’m getting increasingly nervous about my scan. I’m also trying to get some support from work- it’s very busy at the moment and I feel like I’m not working as quickly as usual because I’m still feeling (and sometimes being) sick and tired. My manager has been highly unhelpful- says yes yes yes when I say I need some time away from my desk because I feel too ill to carry on, but doesn’t make any adjustments in expectations of what I’ll get done work wise. She says I make myself stressed which makes me feel worse so I need to manage it better. I was signed off of a couple of wells earlier in pregnancy and I’ve had to have a few other days off sick here and there

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher have something sweet to eat / drink and lie on your left side in a quiet room and give it 20 mins. That's what I was always told before they let me go into the unit.
