@stimpyyouidiot it like people think that’s the only reason we tried for a 3rd. Oh and the poor husband comments 🙄 he works 7am till 5pm so out of the house all day! they act like hes prob really upset that he never got his son like it’s my fault 🤷‍♀️ I’m really happy to have a house full of girls and excited that my girls have sisters.. I don’t and since loosing my mum I’d love a sister to lean on. Xxx

stimpyyouidiot · 07/05/2022 14:37

Ah for goodness sake. People are just so stupid sometimes, will say anything. Everyone keeps asking me about names and I won't be telling anyone anything.

I've been looking at boys clothes today and they are rubbish compared to girls! @Billymay

@HaresHoping @TurquoiseDreamCatcher @dkedm15 @Belle2210 I have been super constipated till I started eating 4-8 prunes with breakfast. It has made a huge difference, I am finally happily pooing again! Hoorah! It feels so good. Plus they have loads of magnesium in too which is good for pregnancy (and generally in life!) I leave a Tupperware box with a few soaking in water overnight, some stay in there a bit longer and I eat my way through them. I hope this helps!

I am 23+3 today and feeling mostly quite well, but finding getting comfortable sitting and lying down challenging! I'm in the middle of cooking for a retreat at the moment where I'm also participating with music in the evenings so I am absolutely knackered! We have sound journeys for participants in the evening going on till quite late, and I slept through most of last nights! I'm not going to be able to keep up this year which is making me a little sad, but also enjoying the growing connection with my little boy. It dawned on me the other day that I and we all have 2 inner child's now! Wink and we need to nurture and play with them both GrinFlowersCake

Sending love and sunshine from Wales xx

Hey everyone, just catching up sorry I’ve been awol. Both me and my toddler have the flu. Getting better slowly, now at the cabin fever stage. Just need her to not have a fever and stop throwing up mucus. Can’t wait to do this with two haha. Congratulations to all with the scans! We must be nearing the end of the 20 week lot? Exciting times!

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher funny you said the chocolate thing. It’s affecting me much less now. Before I’d eat a square, immediately feel sick and very tired and have to nap. Now I’m more of less ok! It’s a miracle. My husband jokes that I can go totally cold turkey on booze, but chocolate made me sick and I tested it daily just in case 😂.

@Celyn22 im 23+4 and at nights after eating I feel so full and a lot of pressure. Looking forward to this one dropping tbh.

I hope you’re all having wonderful weekends ladies ❤️

Redapple21 · 07/05/2022 16:34

@madeleine85 sorry to hear you and your little one have been unwell! Glad you're on the mend. That comment about the daily testing of chocolate did make
me chuckle he he xx

stimpyyouidiot · 07/05/2022 17:07

Sorry you've been poorly @madeleine85, that's rubbish

madeleine85 · 07/05/2022 18:51

thanks guys, I’m weirdly annoyed it’s not covid. Since we had the fever/cough I was hoping it was and we wouldn’t risk getting it the week before birth 😂

stimpyyouidiot · 07/05/2022 19:01

I know how you feel, I had a horrible cold (ironically just before I had Covid) and I was really ill but annoyed I wasn't getting it out of the way. As soon as I recovered I got bloody Covid!

HaresHoping · 07/05/2022 20:04

Oh no @madeleine85 feel better soon 💜

Thank you for that tip @Celyn22 - surely prunes with my fruit and fibre will sort me out! ☺️ that retreat sounds so lovely but must be full on for you. Hope you're taking it as easy as you can.

HaresHoping · 07/05/2022 20:05

@Billymay sorry to hear about the loss of your mum 💜 and in terms of the comments on the sex, people are idiots. Pay no notice. My sister had three girls and they are thick as thieves now they're teens. It's lovely!

madeleine85 · 07/05/2022 20:53

@stimpyyouidiot that would be my luck 😂

@Billymay id have been so happy to have another girl and just reuse 100% of my stuff! It’s so odd how people just assume you want at least one of each!

dkedm15 · 08/05/2022 08:29

This is going to sound super weird haha but does anyone else have like a cone shaped belly on one side when you wake up? She's obviously found her comfy spot that she likes to be in when I go to sleep - every morning I wake up and my right side is rock hard and like a camel hump whereas my left is flatter 🤣

Goodgoodthings · 08/05/2022 09:46

@dkedm15 I used to have this with my first! Felt like I could see her bum sticking out and she still sleeps like that now with her bum in the air 😂

dkedm15 · 08/05/2022 10:02

@Goodgoodthings ahhh that's so cute 😍🤣 yeah she's my first - can tell she's getting bigger because hubby walked in yesterday when I'd woken up and went WOAH haha xx

stimpyyouidiot · 08/05/2022 10:04

Having a good old cry this morning! Tired and hate the way I look and have to go to an event today. So embarrassed of myself!

Goodgoodthings · 08/05/2022 10:13

@dkedm15 ah that's so lovely, it's the nicest feeling and I think it makes it all feel so real! I can't wait to get to that stage again 😍

@stimpyyouidiot sending you a massive hug, I really empathise. I feel like I actually have two arses as it stands 20 weeks in and am having nightmares about being a bridesmaid end of August 🫠 it's totally normal to feel out of sorts in your body at the moment, it's okay to not look in the mirror and love everything you see. Think we're so guilted into the "love your bump" thing when some of us find it hard to. From the snippet of you that I've seen on this thread you are so funny and caring with all of the other ladies - let your brilliant qualities outshine all of those other feelings about how you look. I bet you do look gorgeous, but I know that doesn't matter when you don't feel it. Wear what you're comfy in today and remember that this will pass. Hope you get on okay x

stimpyyouidiot · 08/05/2022 10:25

@Goodgoodthings thank you, that made me tear up again! I do wish I was one of these ladies that looked lovely pregnant but it just makes me look really fat !

Redapple21 · 08/05/2022 10:25

@stimpyyouidiot ahh, sending lots of love to you! I went to a wedding the other week and just did not feel like I looked good at all. Plus there was another pregnant lady there who looked amazing - so slim apart from the little bump. Anyway try your best to dust yourself down, do your hair and make up as best you can and hopefully once you get there you will feel more relaxed x

Thank you, I did more makeup than I usually do, so do feel a little bit better now. I am so envious of lovely round bump and slim elsewhere women. They always look amazing!

Redapple21 · 08/05/2022 10:57

@stimpyyouidiot I know... some people get all the luck ha ha. Glad you're feeling a bit better, enjoy your day!

Has everyone picked out baby names? As we don't know what we are having, we have picked out a boys name which we both really like but just can't find a girls name. I'm a teacher in a girls school which has a lot to do with it ha ha. It's so hard !! The same baby name lists keep popping up everywhere, hoping to get some inspiration soon. I know we've still got plenty of time but I would really like to settle on a girls name.

HaresHoping · 08/05/2022 11:50

@stimpyyouidiot I echo what the other ladies have said. You're fabulous so don't let your brain tell you otherwise! I bet you look a million dollars. I totally get the self critical thing though as I have been just the same in the past, trying to care a bit less now though it's hard. Remember you are so much more than your body too. Other women may look super slim with a 'perfect' bump, but could equally be comparing themselves to others just like you are. Or they may not feel confident for a million different reasons. You are brilliant and we all know it so I hope you can feel it too. Hope you have a lovely day x

HaresHoping · 08/05/2022 11:51

@Redapple21 we have a few picked out that we quite like but nothing has stuck at all. I have literally no idea what he will be called. Finding it so hard to find a boy's name! 😅

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 08/05/2022 13:50

@stimpyyouidiot I agree with the others. Please don't be hard on yourself, it's so tough when we are bombarded with images of "how we should look." Remind ourselves we are real women, not someone airbrushed in a magazine. I'm sure you look lovely!

@Redapple21 we have picked our little girl's name, although keeping it quiet as we experienced snotty judgement last time around. We are pleased with the name we have picked out and don't want anyone to spoil it for us - looking at you MIL.

stimpyyouidiot · 08/05/2022 14:40

Thank you @HaresHoping @TurquoiseDreamCatcher it's so hard sometimes when I know I didn't start at the weight I wanted to and really want to enjoy this pregnancy. I've been quite calm until now but I'm starting to feel really big. I've got a wedding to go to in June and I've got a dress but I'm really hoping I can avoid any photos!

Sweetbabydust1989 · 08/05/2022 15:52

Can I ask are any of you still having sex? If you're do you get a little crampy for a while afterwards xx
