@Sweetbabydust1989 ahhh nice! New car! I'll be 20 weeks on Wednesday so we are very close 💕💕💕 I'm a bit better also thank God 😅 I feel my little fish moving a lot recently also, it's so bizarre to me, sometimes when she's active I push down gently on my belly and she "responds" by moving a bit 😍 ahhh I love this baby so much already, can't wait to meet her 💕

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 18:54

Hi ladies need a recommendation where's the best place for maternity bras more of a lounge wear type I wear the Calvin Klein ones as I cannot stand underwire anymore but my boobs are just falling out now and saggy looking my partner said I will be tucking them into my waste band soon he was joking I didn't take offence we are like that we like to crack loads of jokes my reply was I can stuff them in a bra but he cannot cover his little baldy spot on his head 😂 I just want some cheap ones until my boobs deflate again 😂 xx

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 30/04/2022 19:01

@Peauela and @Sweetbabydust1989, I'm 20 weeks on Tuesday and have my scan then!

I would also love to know where to buy decent maternity/ nursing bras. I've bought some from Asda on my usual size but they are too tight! I don't know when is best to get measured.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 19:04

@Peauela oh wow would be so funny if ours came the same day I kinda think this one will be earlyish my boys were I kinda cook them quickly lol I was that doing that with my little one but i now think baby is ignoring me this one seems to move after I eat and pee well I hope it's the baby!! I still cannot refer my little one as a girl yet I am still in denial 🙈😂 once my 20 week is done and confirmed I can finally believe it as that will be 3 different ones confirming 😂 oh it's a new toy for him not me I am happy as it's an automatic I was finding manual hard work especially in London too much start stop traffic Xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 19:08

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher oh wow we are all like days apart this is amazing!! My scan is on the 10th May feels ages away 😩 xx

Butterflytulip · 30/04/2022 20:10

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher @Sweetbabydust1989 bras, M&S maternity bra 2 pack are lovely!! I got mine in 2020 but I'm sure they still sell them, Iv a set with a navy and a white bra. If I can find them I'll send a link.

Thank you @Butterflytulip - I'll investigate.

BlueSky57 · 30/04/2022 20:35

Tesco have a 2 pack of maternity bras for £16 at the moment, down to £12 with a clubcard 😀 I may try them myself for that price!

Celyn22 · 30/04/2022 20:41

@kitkat22 I’ve had a few zap-like feelings higher in my belly and a few in other places. I’m 22+3 so expect at this time my uterus has moved above my belly button which is probably what those feelings are

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher ah that’s so exciting you felt baby kick! Magical :) sorry about the pains when walking though...!

Thank you for the bra tips! I have been wearing a sports bra the past few weeks but it really isn't comfortable so I'm intending to go bra shopping next week! M&S and Tesco shall be my first stops!

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 20:46

@Butterflytulip thanks lovely I will check those out tomorrow need to get some leggings too have no clothes at all and begrudge buying loads as when the weather is warm I can wear my maxi dresses xx

PrettyTulip · 30/04/2022 20:46

I'm 20w on Wednesday too 😊

Don't know if I've felt anything in the way of movement yet though 🧐

stimpyyouidiot · 30/04/2022 21:05

@PrettyTulip there'll be a big whack soon and you won't be able to mistake it. I sat in the theatre today while mine kicked downwards!! Highly uncomfortable 🤣

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 21:20

@PrettyTulip aww lovely it's amazing getting to the half way mark is this your first?? Xx

annlee3817 · 30/04/2022 21:34

@Sweetbabydust1989 I got mine from marks and Spencer, three for £18! And another one that was £20 on its own, but is so comfortable and soft. She said to go a size down from what you think as non wired come up bigger

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 21:38

@annlee3817 thanks lovely I will be trying some tomorrow I am finding this time round maternity wear to be so uncomfortable the jeans are awful they give me back ache and feel uncomfortable on my bump and that's both over/under bump ones when I had my boys they were so comfortable not this time round I have sent 10 pairs of maternity jeans back in the space of 3 days 🙈 xx

annlee3817 · 30/04/2022 21:40

@Sweetbabydust1989 I hate the jeans, I've got three pairs and they've all been as uncomfortable as each other, have been getting them off of Vinted. I've given up, roll on warmer weather and dresses, because I'll have to just wear them

Sweetbabydust1989 · 30/04/2022 21:45

@annlee3817 omg I keep saying that I just wanna wear maxi dresses and lounge wear.. yes the jeans are awful my last pair were lovely but 11 years old so had lost their shape it's like they have gone really tight fitted they actually feel like they cut my circulation off I get them in a size bigger aswell x

Peauela · 30/04/2022 21:57

@Sweetbabydust1989 @annlee3817 jeans are a big no for me too! So uncomfortable! I struggle to find office wear for my job 😅 any suggestions?

annlee3817 · 30/04/2022 22:05

Yep I've also been sizing up, but they all feel horrible the second I sit down, want to try some short dungarees but feel they'll be just as bad lol

Redapple21 · 01/05/2022 04:43

Just catching up on yesterday and all the posts about maternity jeans. I've been living in a pair of maternity jeggings I ordered from love leggings. They do them in short length too which is great for my little legs! Would recommend. I find them so soft and comfy.

Carebear99 · 01/05/2022 05:52

@Redapple21 where did you get the maternity leggings? I'm living in some asda George maternity jeans, they do fall down a bit but they are getting to be a better fit slowly

HaresHoping · 01/05/2022 07:15

I love my M&S maternity jeans! I got the Ivy pair I think. I live in them 😂 they're just pull on jeggings really.

Bras I'm finding difficult to get hold of in my size, I'm a 36H usually but have got back extenders for my normal bras which have worked ok until now. The underwire is cutting in now so want some comfy ones but I think I might have to go and get fitted at Bravissimo as have no idea what size I need 🤷🏻‍♀️ plus these girls need their scaffolding haha!

HaresHoping · 01/05/2022 07:15

Also with the jeans I think I had to almost wear them in a bit at the start? For a day they felt a little bit tight but now they're lovely.

stimpyyouidiot · 01/05/2022 07:22

I've got one pair of maternity jeans and they're a bit big round the middle still. My maternity leggings from new look are sooooo comfortable. I got a pair of maternity cycling shorts too as I'll live in them in the summer!
