Continuing on from thread 5!

Also had my 20 week scan today 😚All was well & baby was measuring just 3 days behind. It was confirmed that baby is a girl & apparently has long legs! She was very active but we got all the measurements needed in the end. My placenta is also anterior & quite low down so I have to have a scan at 34 weeks to check it has moved too. If not, I guess it’ll be a C section?

Feel like I've had PMT all week, my mood has been fairly good so far which has surprised me, but feel like I've had an extra batch of hormones this week, and having to bite my tongue a lot

Yes @BlueSky57 this is what they said to me - scan at 32 weeks to see if it's moved up, if not, another scan at 36 weeks and if it's still not moved up enough it would be a c section. The sonographer said to me in 85% of cases it does move up - someone else said it's like putting a dot on a balloon near the very bottom, and the more it blows up (as your womb expands) it moves further away from the bottom. This helped me to see how it works and why most move up and out of the way. Fingers crossed.

Ooh are bookmarks working again? Mn has been excruciating to use this past week. @Peauela is this your first? Ligament pain is horrible. I get the worst twinges if I turn too quickly! So annoying.

@Carebear99 yup! My goodness naps are back for me and I’ve barely done any work today or yesterday. I couldn’t get far without wanting to sit down or getting distracted!

@annlee3817 yes it makes it even more real! Almost all my family know now just one more call to make tomorrow. It feels really good and exciting!

How is everyone coping with their lungs? I am getting so breathless and finding I have to breathe through my mouth to get enough oxygen in which makes my lips sore! Finding it quite frustrating

@Peauela oh fantastic we can wait together 😄 feels like ages away but now only 11 days left I really hope there is nothing wrong with baby hope everything comes back clear I would of thought that anything would of been flagged up during my private scans I am feeling to book another in xx

I don't know if it's my lungs but my snoring is horrendous. I feel sorry for DH, it must be like sleeping next to a foghorn. I often have a dry mouth and lips when I wake up.

Anyone else feel And sound like they have a permanent cold?! I don't feel too bad but I sound really nasally when I speak!! Think it's allergic rhinitis is pregnancy which I had last pregnancy too but it's worse this time!
Also have the round ligament pain! Getting out the car requires getting both legs out first and then stepping out 😂😂

Hi everyone, can I add to the complaints today? I think I am getting a yeast infection/thrush, which is just great. Also noticed some very weird discharge this morning which had a few very pale brown streaks, but none since first thing, and had a lot of lower back/stomach cramps. I am now on what feels like my 27th bottle of water for the day, and taking it easy. No idea if it is all related to the infection, but I just feel crampy. The cramps have subsided though with the water intake. I was flying high yesterday on seeing the little one on screen, a good doctor's visit and feeling very "normal/low risk" and every time I get cramps I feel right back to square one. It is very likely nothing but dehydration though. Anyway, rant over! Hope you are all doing well, I know a lot of you are suffering from sciatica or ligament pain and although that sounds miserable, I hope it is a sign that we are getting on with this journey. I saw a January due date group pop up, which made me happy! Hope you all have lovely relaxing weekends planned!

@madeleine85 sorry you feel poorly. It sounds to be that you could have a uti. I have had one with thrush before. Is there anywhere you can get a urine sample checked out?

You have my sympathy, I still have my uti, which is worse at nighttime 😭

Anyone else experiencing what feels like small electric shocks/zaps near their belly buttons? Wondering if it's just normal stretching or something else. I'm 20 weeks.

It's not painful in comparison to my hip pain etc, but the sensation is so unusual, it's weirding me out 🙈😆

Yes, me! I've not been able to breathe properly through my nose this entire pregnancy. I'm also currently on a waiting list for maxillofacial surgery on the roof of my mouth and mouth breathing reaaaaally doesn't do it any good, nothing I can do but take antihistamines and attempt to breathe through my nose!!

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher wow, you still have the UTI? That is misery, I am so sorry! Is there anything more that you can take for it/can you go back in to get other antibiotics? I was probably just complaining, and with drinking a ton of water it is feeling better just half a day later, so I think I know my issue. Weirdly the doctor yesterday looked at the baby, the fluid level and was like you should drink more water, but I drink so much bloody water. I have a bottle on me at all times. I feel like I am about to go be one with the seaworld animals at this rate. Should just ask for a permanent IV drip hookup :)

I've started clearing my spare room ready for our arrival. Why do I own so much junk? Why am I so attached to it all?

@Carebear99 I have been exhausted all the way through this pregnancy so far. Keep waiting for the day that I have some energy back.

@stimpyyouidiot oh no you sounds much worse than me. There's definitely been nights where I have woken up with a very dry mouth cause j can't breath through my nose. Hopefully you get your surgery soon after baby comes.

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher I would definitely leave in a urine sample. They can test it to see what's causing the infection and give you the appropriate antibiotic.

@madeleine85 I feel like this when iv done too much, like a long walk or cleaning house etc. feet up and relax and hopefully after a chilled day and a good nights sleep it will ease.

@MummyToBe2022 I'd rather be tired than hungry all the time 😂😂 although I do fall asleep early in evenings and that stops me from eating toast haha

@Celyn22 and@MummyToBe2022 I'm glad it's not just me, I'm exhausted all the time!

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher omg I'm the same with holding on to junk! The plan is to get rid of it soon also and go through my
Clothes to sort them as well - I know I will never wear most of them but I still keep them!!

@Peauela we sure are I am 20 weeks Monday!! Cannot wait now for this scan me and the other half just treated ourselves to a new car when I say treated us I mean him 😂 kept my mind off the scan for a few days how are you feeling today?? I am feeling better now the sciatica pain is hit and miss but bloody hurts when I accidentally click my hip lol.. feeling baby move a bit today if it was baby it must be gas lol xx

I've got a new pain today, the top of my legs where they join my hips. It was killing me to walk! I don't know if it was related, but today was the first time that I felt baby really moving!
