Good luck ladies for the scans tomorrow! Mine is Friday and I too am feeling anxious. Just hoping all is well for everyone 🙏🏼
@stimpyyouidiot ha ha so true about the vegetables and fruit comparisons, my app says a banana this week, well they are pretty varied in size each time I go to the supermarket!

I watched a bit on YouTube from Britain's got talent on Saturday, born to perform dance group ( from my home town apparently) and it was such a lovely thing to watch that I was a crying mess by the end

My husband says they need to pick things with exact sizes like a tennis ball or a mug or a can of drink haha. @Redapple21

Oh and h felt baby kick for the first time tonight!

@stimpyyouidiot ha ha definitely, we said it about avocados, they're massive in the country my DH is from, tiny here! Coke can sounds much better lol. Ahhh glad he felt a kick :)

@stimpyyouidiot your husband is right! And I need to change my app settings, I didn’t realise I could! I did flip through the weeks and have to say I have no idea how large the later ones are (kale etc) until I reach watermelon and honestly that’s just terrifying 😂. Love that your DH got his first kick feel. That’s so special ❤️

Good luck for scans today. Mines next Wednesday and can’t come soon enough! It’s stressing me out that I can’t feel regular movements yet. I felt a good few wriggles and kicks on Sunday that I could feel with my hand too but had nothing since. Doesn’t help with the anxiety!!

@Em85kk my 20 week scan is next Friday so I know how you feel. It isn't until 3.50pm as well, which means the day will drag on! I did have an extra midwife appointment on Monday for anxiety so I did hear the baby but my placenta is anterior so it took her ages to find the heartbeat and by the time she did and she checked my pulse she said my pulse was elevated. Some days I feel lots of flutters and a few kicks when I put my hand on my bump and other days I feel minimal movement, so I understand how you feel.

I also can't keep up with the thread since the website changes, I'm on the mobile app and bookmarking doesn't seem to work, it's so annoying!

My apps have said bizarre thing about the size. Last week it was a banana on one and this week the same app says pomegranate. Another app says baseball hat 😂 and a third says dinner plate. Hilarious

@HaresHoping I've found that unbookmarking my last bookmark before I make my new bookmark seems to work (hopefully that makes sense!) but yep the update has been annoying!

Finally getting off my arse today and going for a swim, I have been so lazy these past few weeks and feeling really low/ rubbish in myself. Hopefully this helps!

I'm still suffering with my uti, I've phoned the doctors in tears this morning because I've finished my antibiotics but still have symptoms. The doctors gave me a second type of antibiotic for an ear infection on Monday and they are hopeful antibiotic 2 will also help the uti. I am so unhappy, waking up every half an hour bursting for the loo. Sorry to moan!

@SoOverThisCrap I have anterior placenta too so I was expecting not feeling much but it’s just rubbish. I was really low on Sunday and miserable because I was worried. Then late on Sunday afternoon he had a massive wriggle and I was so relieved. It just kind of builds as the days go on where you’ve not felt anything. Can’t wait for my scan.

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher sorry to hear you are still feeling unwell, really hope the second lot of antibiotics help

I just started feeling kicks at 21 weeks (anterior placenta). My partner felt them too 🥰

I'm amazed at how many of us have anterior placentas, I was led to believe it was unusual. I feel the odd movement low down, I can't wait to see and feel full on movement.

I think anterior is actually a quite normal place for it to be. I think in my previous one I had a high anterior so it really didn't make much difference to feeling dd. I think this one may be similar once my stomach grows a bit!!

Oh goodness @stimpyyouidiot 🤞🏻 it's a nice easy time for you until DH is back... I'm shattered as it is and have no kids to look after so can't imagine what it's like!

For those of you trying to feel your little one more often, when I haven't felt Celyn for a while I shout his name! With a smile and laughing. Our babies feel our emotions too so I only shout to him if I'm feeling happy and excited. It really seems to work! Not always instantly (although sometimes I make him jump!) sometimes there's a slight delay. I hope this helps. Ah also and when my partner sings and hums with his mouth to my belly.

I hope everyone's scans have gone well today, and sending chilled out vibes to those of you waiting for your appointments!

I am currently chilling out, having a chocolate break, with feet up on a chair. I'm finding outdoor physical work harder and harder - and my belly is getting in the way! Very happy with my big belly though, and I'm celebrating 22 weeks today with lots of glances at my reflection and pulling my top up to look at my belly again!

@HaresHoping to be fair she is an amazingly easy kid to have (most of the time!!) so I am extremely lucky. She's at school while I'm at work and then I walk to get her. Just going to let her pick what she wants for dinner this week 🤣

Hey ladies, relieved to say my scan went well today :) It's crazy how much detail they look in, and they had to tip me so far back to try and make the baby roll over!

Didn't get a great pic as it's harder now it's bigger, but it's a relief anyway and thinking of everyone else who had/has theirs today. Fingers crossed for everyone x
