Long time lurker, I was on the last thread and trying to keep up but only getting chance to read. My May 2022 boy was joined by his sister in May 2024 so 3 kids is a wild ride.

Another endorsement for the Oh Crap Potty training book. I really like the authors no nonsense approach but as @aNewYorkerInLondon said it's a love or hate. Took him out of nursery for a week. The method is pretty exhausting for a few days, we had an awful first couple of days mainly because I was also also juggling the newborn but overall I have found quite quick success this was both times around.

Hi all!! How’s everyone doing with these threenagers? 😱

we’ve left nursery and started “big school,” so that’s been a huge change. We’re getting through but this has been a tough transition. Today is the first day of his first half-term break!! 🫣

For those who’ve been able to sell their travel system buggies (chassis + lay flat pram + pushchair + fittings for car seat, accessories, etc.), would you be happy to share approximately what you were able to get for them and where you sold them (venue)? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the effort or if it would be better to donate it. I could really use the ££, but if it isn’t much, I’d rather someone who really needs it have it.

Hope to hear how everyone’s doing!

Hello there. We're doing ok. Leo is fully toilet trained now and is so chatty he can be so grumpy though. We're still at private nursery but he starts school September 2026 trying to squeeze in the last chances of term time holidays/ groups before he's locked into school schedules.

We ended up going through 5 buggies in the end 😅 the ickle bubba one we had at the beginning we found the brakes weren't great, then got cossato which he grew out of, then Joie which was to big, then zummi and have now got a different cossato stroller for holidays and things. We donated the ickle bubba, cossato and the zummi to a children's charity shop that helps families that struggle but we sold on the Joie as it was only a few months old we used Facebook for that.

Isn’t the nappy-free life great!! Glad to heard you’re doing well. Thanks for the tips — that’s a lot of buggies!!

Yeah I only passed my driving test this year so relied on the buggies to get around 😅x

Ooof! I still haven’t done mine. Congrats to you though!! I have the learning permit but can’t find time to read the theory books. I can drive well enough (I’m licensed in the US) that the instructor I had a session with just said there’s no point in any more practice until I’ve passed the theory test. So it’s on the back burner.
