Oh god @fpeg that must've been a shock! At 35 weeks though you are right, so close to term that she should be fine.
Hope if you are in labour it's going well! And good luck!

Jammymare · 26/04/2022 07:08

Best wishes @fpeg x

fpeg · 26/04/2022 07:13

@Flowerbug1994 thank you, I'm pretty knackered as have been awake all night and they've nearly taken me to section twice but she rallied again both times so we're still hanging in there! We may even get back home yet! Who knows 🤷‍♀️

fpeg · 26/04/2022 07:14

Thanks @Octoblockisadick and @Jammymare it was indeed a shock 😂 am in early stage labour and contracting but they are slowing down a bit now so the drugs to stop it might finally be working!

RoseValleyRambles · 26/04/2022 07:25

@fpeg 35 weeks is great, but sounds like a stressful night. Hoping things continue to calm down today, but if not you're in a great place. Hang in there!

annie1994 · 26/04/2022 07:36

@fpeg oh wow good luck! Least they are monitoring baby closely and you’re so close to full term. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼Xx

AlbatrossSociety · 26/04/2022 08:13

@fpeg will be thinking of you!

Annabell1 · 26/04/2022 08:16

@fpeg Wow, yes I guess we never know when they decide to come. I hope you get some rest today. Hang in there. All the best 💕

Vimto1991 · 26/04/2022 08:20

@fpeg good luck! Perhaps baby didn’t want to be a June baby 🙈 35 weeks is a healthy time to be born, so hope all is well if they do decide to make an experience!

Prema112 · 26/04/2022 08:52

@fpeg! Oh my word! My due date buddy! What a shock! So good you're in the right place being looked after. Thinking of you and as everyone else said she'll be absolutely fine if born now xx

pregnancydiaries · 26/04/2022 08:59

@fpeg ah!!! I feel this must be a total mixture of excitement and panic. What a great gestation though, whatever happens 💗 keep us posted and hope you manage to get some sleep this morning xxx

PeeAche2 · 26/04/2022 09:02

Oh my goodness @fpeg ... these babies are coming thick and fast now! 😍

I never expected we'd see so many before May, even. I'm excited for you.

35 weeks is only slightly premature. My daughter is doing fantastically well and she was 32.

Try to rest and relax.xxxx

Lostintranslatio · 26/04/2022 09:27

@fpeg best of luck!! Please keep us updated!!

These babies don't want to wait until June 😂😂😂😂 I have the feeling that mine will be the opposite making me wait until July to meet her 😂

Roxystar23 · 26/04/2022 09:38

So glad to hear @PeeAche2 !

Thinking of you @fpeg ! These babies just can’t wait to meet their Momma Bear’s can they!?

@Flowerbug1994 @Prema112 @Vimto1991 @Octoblockisadick I tend to get movement if anything is next to my belly - whether that be my arm while sat on the sofa, lying on the mattress or against the kitchen table - I think it’s just the baby being curious about what’s there (or as I like to think, the baby going “oi! - you’re blocking out the light!”. Haha! This morning in bed I had 3 quick kicks or taps in quick succession. My partner joked that the baby was tapping out and saying they want to come into the world now. I’ve eaten an apple this morning and that seems to have excited baby too.
I’ve got a growth scan today - always fills me with relief when I see the baby bouncing around happily on the screen but can’t feel anything. I can never work out what position the baby is in either - I often wonder if it’s the baby’s head or bum I can see wiggling about - so it’s nice to get position explained to me at these scans too.

I feel like crap warmed up today. Called the doctor regarding itching, then started seeing lights and the shortest migraine aura. Now feel sick and weak, my pulse is up and my back aches. Seeing a midwife in two hours so will raise it with her, I know pre clampsia can be similar to migraine auras, but the way I’m feeling probably means I am having a migraine without the massive headache. I just feel super drained like I want to sleep. 😴 it’s like my body woke up today and was like… nope. 😂 wish I could go back to sleep! six weeks until due date, how much more tired and achey can I feel? Fair play to anyone working right up until due date!

@Roxystar23 mine tends to do this if anything is pressing against my belly, even waist lines for clothes, I’m leaning forward at the moment and felt a tap near my cervix, probably like mom give me more room!!

Letsbekindplease · 26/04/2022 10:11

@Roxystar23 haha that made me laugh as it posted 3 more times lol. Mine has been posting double/ logging in and out! So annoying

@fpeg - you’re in the best place and wishing you and baby all the love and luck. Just can’t wait to see mummy that’s what it is. X

@PeeAche2 that’s fantastic news that she’s doing well.

PleaseSendNoodles · 26/04/2022 10:19

Eeek @fpeg ill be thinking of you!

PleaseSendNoodles · 26/04/2022 10:20

hope you’re doing okay, @fpeg

@Vimto1991 I’m so sorry that you’re feeling rubbish! Very good idea to get it checked out just in case. But just to say I (and by coincidence also a friend of mine) do get migraines with just an aura and the drained/ exhausted feeling. For me, they changed from migraines with a headache and aura to just aura a few years ago. My friend actually did see a neurologist about it, and apparently they are called silent migraines. Good idea to get it checked out just in case though.

Incidentally the neurologist told her it’s common for migraine sufferers to also get car sickness and pregnancy nausea (yes and yes, for both her and me).
