I’ve been in bed almost two hours to catch up on sleep missed due to going to triage until 4am last night, and what do I have? RSL really bad. Cannot stop moving my leg or I get the electrical shooting pains down my leg. I just want to sleep. :( it’s worse the more tired I am, but it makes me more tired. I have tried SO much to help it, staying on top of my sleep helps but this couldn’t be helped. I’ll catch up on sleep in 18 years 😂😭
think I’d take my morning sickness back in exchange for no RSL and insomnia…

@4thtimethecharm so sorry to hear this but try to remember you are in the best place possible for this happen. After being in hospital the past week I've been speaking to so many people about babies born at 30 weeks and every single one of them has been a positive story. Yes little one will need to stay in hospital for a while but it sounds like the outcome for babies at this gestation is fab and hearing stories that years later they are reaching all targets, growth bang on etc. Plus, the hospital stays give you time to get everything organised at home so no need to panic about being unprepared!!

Good luck and let us know how things go this morning.xx

fpeg · 22/04/2022 07:08

@4thtimethecharm hope everything has been ok overnight. As everyone else has said babies have and outstanding chance of very positive outcomes as soon as they are over 28 weeks and your little one has cooked slightly longer than this too. You already are an amazing mum x.

fpeg · 22/04/2022 07:11

@BunBun221 I've only gained 1.3kg as well at 34 weeks. Baby growing well though and my mum is an ex-midwife and has been telling me all along not to worry and she isn't concerned about my body shape. I was just overweight when I started the pregnancy so have definitely had space to lose it. I've been trying really hard to eat as much as possible but bloating as soon as I eat has been causing me issues and restricting my food intake. She says I'll eat like a horse once baby is out and I'm breastfeeding x

CurryandSnuggle · 22/04/2022 07:28

@4thtimethecharm thinking of you and hope everything is going well. Xx

@Prema112 I didn’t think to ask either lol, however I read on Google that babies can be low down for weeks before birth and it doesn’t mean that labour is imminent!

Prema112 · 22/04/2022 07:43

@CurryandSnuggle Good to know!

@4thtimethecharm I hope you've had a good night and been looked after well

@pregnancydiaries What's the latest for you love? X

Letsbekindplease · 22/04/2022 07:45

@Vimto1991 that sounds awful. I really hope that subsides doesn’t you
we went to triage last night too. Got back about midnight. Everything is fine, she’s head down now which I thought but her movements were very reduced. I tried everything to get movements from her but she was only giving me a wee poke.
all was fine. Get a bit silly but the midwife was amazing. I hope she’s on when I’m in labour.

@4thtimethecharm hope everything goes well.

Vimto1991 · 22/04/2022 08:32

@Letsbekindplease that’s really good to hear! Sounds like my experience, the midwives there were amazing and reassuring! Think all our babies are wiggling there way down now and we just need to get used to these new kind of movements!

destiEos · 22/04/2022 08:38

@Lostintranslatio yes and all around belly button feels very stretched and button itself feels sore. Muscular/skin ouchies. Belly button hasn't popped though, and mum says he's didn't either🤞🏼 I think when bub is vertical which he mostly is now, it's way more uncomfortable. Sitting upright is difficult I feel like I'm folding his legs/head?

destiEos · 22/04/2022 08:44

@beansprout55 I had no intention of buying any either but when the local mum came to take some pregnancy photos she asked a couple of times if we had any to put in photos, so then it was in my mind. Don't think he'll need them, but as you say cutest thing every - and they come in a tiny white box with ribbon! Fiver(I think) from Morrisons 💕

pregnancydiaries · 22/04/2022 08:45

@Prema112 got home last night 🥳 on strict orders of rest and chill but so glad to be back in my own bed. Thanks so much for asking xxx

destiEos · 22/04/2022 08:46

Also hiccups every day! Sometimes a few times a day. Good to know he's doing something when he's quiet 🙂

destiEos · 22/04/2022 08:54

@4thtimethecharm as everyone else had said - you're in the best place. It's rubbish when things are changed from what we planned/hoped but if you're in the hospital and they're monitoring you I'm sure everything will be fine. I hope they've been reassuring and that everything has gone well overnight. Everyone here is very much thinking of you and your little one and sending positive vibes 💕🍀

destiEos · 22/04/2022 08:54

@pregnancydiaries glad to hear your home and resting 🌸

Prema112 · 22/04/2022 09:16

@pregnancydiaries Yey for being home!! Such good news it must be such a relief! Rest up ☺️

Prema112 · 22/04/2022 09:17

Ha, I've just done the school run and I'm now exhausted, feel like I need to recover in bed 😅

fpeg · 22/04/2022 09:30

Great to hear you've made it home @pregnancydiaries 🏡 🌸

Vimto1991 · 22/04/2022 09:40

@pregnancydiaries
so glad to hear you are finally home and hopefully able to rest up!!

@4thtimethecharm thinking of you and baby today, hope you are both doing okay!!

Octoblockisadick · 22/04/2022 10:05

@pregnancydiaries glad you are home! Make sure you relax and don't try and do too much.

@4thtimethecharm hope everything is OK, you're in the best place and past 30 weeks the risks reduce a lot. Hope you aren't too worried.

I feel awful today, got a horrific sore throat and cough and snotty nose. Not covid because I've tested a few times but I feel so rubbish. Properly feeling sorry for myself. Baby's movements seem incredibly uncomfortable too, not sure if they actually are or its just where I'm feeling crappy.

destiEos · 22/04/2022 10:41

@Octoblockisadick sorry to hear you feel poo. Get into bed and have people bring you tea 😬 Everything feels uncomfortable all the time now, babies are getting big 😕 🌸

beansprout55 · 22/04/2022 12:04

Thinking of you @4thtimethecharm xx

PeeAche2 · 22/04/2022 12:53

MrsNT · 22/04/2022 13:00

@4thtimethecharm

MrsNT · 22/04/2022 13:05

@PeeAche2 just read your post. Heartiest congratulations ...wishing you the speediest recovery and hope baby girl is doing well.
And also you are the 1st Mummy from this group so thats an honour!

fpeg · 22/04/2022 15:54

Supposed to be working but I just walked into the spare bedroom where there's a load of stuff either to be thrown out or moved to storage. If just sorted it into two massive piles! OH is gonna go mad when he gets home 😂 knackered now though! Possibly time for an afternoon nap 😴 😂
