I donโ€™t know when Iโ€™m due, Iโ€™ve not had a period since DS was born but I got 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digi this morning which puts me sometime late October or early November (I think!)
Feels like Iโ€™m too far behind the October group but too early for a November oneโ€ฆ anyone due a similar time and want to join me? Would love to have some company ๐Ÿ˜Š

@DogsAndBirds it really is full of anxiety isn't it
I had some bleeding at about 5 weeks and it was due to a hematoma.
I hope it's stopped now
Sending you positive vibes xxx

xreadytoglow · 29/03/2022 11:45

Sorry to hear your spotting @DogsAndBirds it's so worrying isn't it. I've just come back from EPU after spotting started last night. I'm 8 weeks today. They couldn't find any cause of it which is good and have put it down to hormonal / my progesterone pessaries.
Hopefully yours is just hormonal changes too. I'm sure everything's fine ๐Ÿค keep us updated x

Best of luck @TheBirdintheCave ๐Ÿ’

detachablehoof · 29/03/2022 13:23

@TheBirdintheCave please let us know how you got on Flowers

TheBirdintheCave · 29/03/2022 13:45

Sorry for the delay I had no signal and then ran out of credit.

The sac had grown but the tiny embryo and yolk sac are gone. Itโ€™s definitely an MMC so Iโ€™ve been prescribed medication to kick things off :(

Thanks for everyoneโ€™s support! Itโ€™s really meant a lot. Good luck with the rest of your journeys. X

DogsAndBirds · 29/03/2022 13:51

@TheBirdintheCave Iโ€™m so sorry to hear this. Hopefully the next part of your journey goes swiftly and as painlessly as possible.

JMC91 · 29/03/2022 13:54

Sorry I've not been on in a long time ๐Ÿ˜ž was really struggling with both the pregnancy and work and needed to take a break from mumsnet as sometimes it was making my anxiety worse lol.
Today is the due date of my first pregnancy so have been a bit emotional, but did a little memorial and am going for dinner with the husband to remember our little Dino (that's what we had nicknamed it as it looked like a little dinosaur! Ha ha)
Because of the previous loss I was really really struggling with anxiety and dread that it would all happen again. Found myself googling every tiny thing that happened and convincing myself it was the start of another MC, so that was why I needed a break!
Ended up going for an early scan at 8 weeks, and though I know it doesn't reassure that the rest of the pregnancy would go well, it definitely made me feel better than it wasn't a MMC and this one is further along than I ever got. Have calmed down a lot since then and just looking forward to my 12 week scan in under 2 weeks! (Though the midwife was very cheeky for me and got it a week early as I have a bridesmaid dress fitting and wanted it before then ๐Ÿ˜…)

Anyway now anxiety is a tad better and work has finally eased off, hopefully I'll be here more to chat and get to know you all ๐Ÿ˜Š

AbbiL0u · 31/03/2022 13:31

@Kat668 Hope your scan goes well, and that youโ€™re okay! Definitely understand the anxiety of mumsnet so good idea to have the break :)

I have just had my appointment through for the 12 week scan on 26th April, it doesnโ€™t feel too far away and Iโ€™m very excited! There is a covid sheet in there that says go alone if you can, but my partner has been able to come to my other appointments so far (EPU scan and midwife booking in appointment). Does anyone know if partners can attend? Iโ€™m going to ring them closer to the time I think but thought it worth an ask!

PeoniesInJune · 31/03/2022 14:13

@AbbiL0u Iโ€™ve also had my scan date for the 20th April. Not too long to go now Smile

My letter says โ€œonly one person will be allowed inโ€ so I donโ€™t know if that includes my partner or not. I really hope so!

Jfb23 · 31/03/2022 16:05

@PeoniesInJune that's very confusing wording but I would take it to mean one person, as well as you. Maybe call to double check?

@Kat668 I could have written your post myself in my first pregnancy. Mumsnet and google was a real trigger for my anxiety sometimes and it was definitely healthy to have some space every now and then. Are you on the Facebook group?

DogsAndBirds · 31/03/2022 17:45

I went for my emergency check up today after heavy spotting and pain earlier in the weekโ€ฆ. All is fine! ๐Ÿ˜ Baby was wiggling about and no cause for the bleeding could be seen. (Measured 11 weeks which is a few days ahead of what I thought and from the last scan but we have tall genes in my family!)

Iโ€™m in Durham and today my husband was allowed into the scan but couldnโ€™t wait in the hospital waiting room. All partners had to wait in the corridor and were then called in. He was also not allowed in when the nurse spoke to me after the scan. I imagine other areas may be similar.

Annny27 · 31/03/2022 18:04

So pleased :D :D @DogsAndBirds

Kat668 · 31/03/2022 21:29

@AbbiL0u thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š I would read that as one person extra? So your partner! But probably safe to double check! I had the same as @DogsAndBirds last time, he had to wait outside in the corridor and when they called me in I went and got him, so he could be in for the actual scan.

@DogsAndBirds huge congrats! So glad everything is OK for you ๐Ÿ˜Š

@Jfb23 thank you! Yeah it was doing me a lot of harm ๐Ÿ˜… feel much better now though! No I'm not, I'll have a hunt through previous messages and join ๐Ÿ˜€

Kat668 · 31/03/2022 21:41

None of the previous links are working for me, please could someone try resending. ๐Ÿ˜€

misslahx · 01/04/2022 08:35

For some reason I can't find the Facebook group on my Facebook even though I joined it and I think I may be an admin to - if not can someone re send the link?

Thanks xx

MrsGreen2021 · 01/04/2022 08:42

The Facebook group seems to have disappeared- Iโ€™m not sure why!

Annny27 · 01/04/2022 09:04

What's the fb group called and I can search for it as the links didn't work for me?

Annny27 · 01/04/2022 09:06

@kat668 I feel very similar! Had a scan at 9 weeks which was lovely to see!

Hahah love that the midwife arranged it sooner for you and your dress fitting ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Jfb23 · 01/04/2022 09:37

I just went to look for the group and I can't see it either. Does anyone remember who set it up? I hope everything is okay!
