Due October 2022

Hi all,

I've just had my BFP and am due early October 2022, for my first baby I joined a group on here for people all due the same month so thought I'd start one this time round - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 31 and have a DD who is 16 months.

Is anyone else due in October? How are you feeling?

Anyone freezing?! I cannot get warm!!

@Curlywurly3 I had been freezing since Wednesday, eipsoded of shivers and goosebumps, just could not get warm at all. Now I’m boiling hot for the last hour. Temp is normal so not a fever. Think it’s just one of those pregnancies things lol

I literally have no symptoms which half makes me feel worse. You can't bloody win can you! I've got a scan booked for 6weeks and 1 it's early but I got a heartbeat with my little boy and 6weeks and 3 so fingers crossed

@Diamondbabe other than feeling more tired in the evenings (which could be totally unrelated) I've not had many symptoms either! I heard it's totally normal though and to expect them to ramp up a bit from 6 weeks.

@LondonladyTTC I didn't have any symptoms with my son really bar some tiredness. If I hadn't known I was pregnant I really wouldn't have guessed. Obviously I was very lucky but it does make you worry everything's ok!

@Curlywurly3 I am also freezing! On Monday I'm the office i wore all my clothes including spare blazer and still wasn't warm enough, in the other hand I can very quickly feel that I'm overheating if doing exercises. But rarely seem to be the right, comfortable temperature haha

I'm 5+6 today and started with nausea....and hunger. I feel really sick and really hungry. And tired. And everything my husband does is irritating me, I'm usually really laid back, but I've snapped a couple times at him today.
I slept in till 10 this morning! (Other than getting up in the night for a wee) i am usually up at 6 every day even on my days off, then came back up at 1 for a nap and just woke up again coz I'm hungry!

This is probably a silly question. But! Are you all basing your "5+6", "6weeks +1" etc from the first day of your last period? Or is this from ovulation?

Not me because I am breastfeeding and my last periods is ages away. But from my last possible ovulation and conception date...

Well in a way it is a reassuring to have symptoms!
I have all of yours except nausea.... but with my DD i was already so sick!

@summerlovingvibes I went on an online calculator, I had 2 x 5 day embryos transferred on 21st Jan with ivf. But I think for natural pregnancies it's from 1st day of last period?

@Curlywurly3 man I thought I was being silly yesterday I just couldn't warm up!!

@summerlovingvibes mine is based off when I called midwifery services, they asked the first day of my last period and gave me my EDD. The apps all give me a slightly different EDD but they asked my cycle length too, which changes month to month but averages at 26 days.

@curlywurly3 I feel freezing during the day and finding it difficult to warm up, but at night I have the opposite problem and feel incredibly hot DH not happy when I'm trying to kick off the duvet!

Has anyones cm started and stopped ? Was having small amounts of it but I'm dry as anything now down there for the last couple of days ! Sorry bit graphic I know

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits yep. Some days I am dry then other times super wet. Its grim cause I keep worrying its blood then go to the loo and it's thankfully just cm

Hi everyone, feeling brave enough to post properly now after posting right at the beginning and lurking!

Got my BFP nearly 3 weeks ago now, due date form LMP is 5th October. I’ve been quite anxious due to a miscarriage at 6 weeks in November and not really wanting to believe it was real. I started bleeding on Tuesday so was convinced I was out and having another miscarriage, but I had an early scan in EPAU yesterday and saw a tiny bean with a heartbeat measuring just a few days behind (apparently normal at this stage as they’re so tiny it’s hard to get measurements!) so I’m exactly 6 weeks today based on the scan or 6+3 based on LMP 🥰

I’ve had a lot of nausea this week, couldn’t eat much yesterday and was actually sick after taking one bite of my lunch! But I’ve been feeling a little better today and managed to eat as normal.

I’ve also been prescribed Cyclogest (progesterone pessaries) because of the bleeding and previous miscarriage - is anyone else on them/been on them? I’d love to hear some experiences!

Hope everyone is doing okay and not suffering with too many symptoms! I’ve tried to catch up but there’s a lot of pages to read 😅

@JuniperAndTonic just wanted to jump on this thread and say I'm due around the same time as you, but due to a complicated fertility history and the fact I've bled everyday since 7dpo, I'm also on Cyclogest. 200mg BD.
Have been on it in a previous IVF pregnancy up to 12 weeks.

I have my next epau scan in 8 days and until then I just feel a bit numb really.
Also no symptoms apart from fatigue. Which was the same in my son's IVF pregnancy so trying not to get overly anxious about lack of them

Also nice to read about other people being freezing!!! I feel cold to my core at different points throughout the day

@Twiglet2353 thanks! How are you finding the Cyclogest? I’m on 400mg BD. I only started it last night but am dreading side effects as it doesn’t sound pleasant! Good luck for your scans!

@Tandabear thank you I was so relieved as I was convinced it was going to be another miscarriage. I didn’t feel pregnant either until this week! And today I feel better so wondering where my symptoms have gone 🤔 I started the Cyclogest last night, so only taken 2 - so far fine but dreading side effects!

Have had a day with my toddler today / just us all day. And she has been a menace all day! Not sure how I'll cope with 2 😩

I just must add she's also a sweetheart - just a challenging day of great escapes and tantrums!
