Hi all,

I've just had my BFP and am due early October 2022, for my first baby I joined a group on here for people all due the same month so thought I'd start one this time round - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 31 and have a DD who is 16 months.

Is anyone else due in October? How are you feeling?

Congrats to all the new BFPs! How is everyone feeling?

@Trying81 so sorry to hear about the sickness. I was lucky I didn’t have it too badly with my first two, feeling it more this time. All the usual things to give a go, sea sickness bands, not letting your blood sugar dip so healthy snacks little and often, try not to get dehydrated, ginger stuff, dry crackers and toast/biscuits etc. But if it gets really bad do contact your doctor as they can give you medication to help if needs be.

I have booked an early scan for first week of March privately, by my dates I should be around 7+3. The wait is so hard but just crossing everything. I just realised as well that because of having to deliver at 37 weeks, baby will come in late September even though EDD is mid October! Do you all mind if I stay on here?

@maybein2022 on the ivf calculator I went on if its a singleton I'm due 9th October, but if its twins it's 18th sept. So I think you should stay anyway incase any of us are twins!! Grin
Thanks for the sickness advice I know what to try if/when it kicks in!

Does anyone else feel a bit like 'okay, I'm pregnant, now what?' 😂 like I don't know what to do with myself. I rang Dr's this morning and got a link to refer to the midwife and I've changed all my apps over from TTC to pregnant but at 4+4 there's not a lot going on and nothing to do and no one to tell 😅 maybe it's just me and its just not sunk in yet??

@HRHXO oh man, I feel this so hard 😂 I'm 3+6 according to the apps but 3+4 according to midwives. I've registered myself with them, so literally got nothing to do now. Well, except tell the husband 😂

@jadew88 oh so glad I'm not the only one lol! Oooh youve not told your husband yet? Do you have a sweet way to tell him planned out? I just dropped the positive tests in front of him at his desk whilst he was on a work call wfh 😅

Hi Everyone, been watching this thread for a while and hoping I'd be joining it! I've been having really faint lines for days on frer and also negatives on other tests but today I got my bfn on a digital! After a week of stressing I am soooo relieved!

Second baby for me, already got a 3 yr old boy (any Jan19 ppl here?).

I used ov tests so work my due date as 18th October which makes me 4weeks today.

Had a horrific birth last time with emergency C-section under general anaesthetic and then we both had sepsis so hoping it all works out ok this time!

Yay @helloworld88 you’re here! Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy and a better birth than last time- that sounds really hard.

To all those saying it feels a bit like, ‘now what’, I totally feel the same. It’s that weird limbo bit. I swing between looking at baby clothes and nursery websites (we got rid of everything except some special items after my second) and scaring myself with miscarriage and other risks. I don’t want to wish time away, but I hope the next few weeks passes quickly!

Also was very lucky in my first two pregnancies really not to feel very sick at all, this time I am already feeling sick earlier than last time and especially this evening. Hoping it passes!

I’ve been SO busy with work the last two days, today I was walking with some colleagues and I suddenly felt so dizzy and I was like, oh yeah, I’m pregnant! 😂 Hi and congrats to the the new BFP ladies and hi to the ladies from the valentines thread! 👋🏻

Does anyone else feel like this? For the last 24 hours I feel like my stomach is going to rumble. And i am eating food but don't feel very hungry. Also have some pains on my right side of my body like a stretching feeling in my abdomen and back, feels like period pains 🤔

@Cookiedough123 I have had the same stretching and mild cramping. I had it with both my previous pregnancies too. Hopefully it’s just normal pregnancy niggles.

@Cookiedough123 yup I’m the same! It’s a feeling of when you’re hungover and need to eat but also like god I’m so hungry but I can’t physically eat anything because then I feel sick 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've had cramps/niggles and twinges in my lower abdomen for the last 2 days now. Also on and off headache headache dizziness. Thankfully no nausea or sickness yet which I hope stays away permanently as I have emetophobia 😬

@SunnySideUp2020 I've got absolutely no symptoms either so I'm pretty sure it's normal. I have felt tired today but I've got a 14 month old so that's normal but I am feeling more tired if that's possible.

@arianasky I'm doing well thanks are you? Going to book an early scan around 6 and a few days. I did with my little boy and it was nice to at least confirm a heartbeat!
