@MrsNT I'm guessing it goes away after birth- I'm not 100% sure though!

Honey2 · 05/02/2022 11:14

Hi all,
I’ve been dipping into this thread for a while but thought I’d post and say hi! I’m due 5th June - 4th baby. But there will be a 6 year gap from my first 3… hope everyone is doing well. Xx

fpeg · 05/02/2022 11:37

@MrsNT I went up three cup sides by 12 weeks, 34D became 34F - already! 😱

The new bras I bought then have now got a bit tight again so I've just bought nursing ones from seraphine and they are sooooooo comfy, lots of growing room in them but supportive enough for my current day to day. I've only just regained my pre pregnancy weight (food aversion first trimester) so they got huge even whilst I was losing weight! Hoping they stop soon as I don't want mahoosive boobs 😂

MrsNT · 05/02/2022 12:05

@fpeg since im not sure whether this size change is permanent or temporary i didnt want to spend a lot so was trying sizes at primark but nothing was working..either too big or too small.will try again as now I have some idea

GrowBabyGrow · 05/02/2022 12:27

@hellointhere so exciting! I cannot wait to be able to see kicks and for my husband to be able to feel them Smile I think we're going to find out the sex at our 20 week scan next week. It's not going to change much as we're wanting to do a neutral nursery and fairly neutral clothing (although most of the clothes I like seem to be in the 'boy' section which is ridiculous because girls like animals and dinosaurs too!) That being said I'm really curious to know what the sex is and it might change the names we choose. But if they don't get in position we won't do a private scan to find out if that makes sense.

PeeAche · 05/02/2022 12:30

Hey girls. Is anyone feeling exhausted again? I'm 21 weeks and I feel like I'm returning to the first trimester.

Equally, it could be stress. But it does feel like exhaustion.

Anybody?

@GrowBabyGrow 1000% this, boy clothes are so much better! Why can't they have animals and dinosaurs too?!? I'm having a girl but seriously considering the odd "boy" outfit/babygrow as the only thing that makes them boy is that they are blue (and a lovely shade of blue too!)

@PeeAche I found weeks 20-22 I had a real regression on the tiredness front, had to have late afternoon naps a couple of times as really struggled. I'm 23+3 now and in the last almost week I've felt better again. I'm wondering if it coincides with bump growth spurt 🤷‍♀️

fpeg · 05/02/2022 13:30

To whoever had the idea of teddy with baby's heartbeat for Valentine's Day gift you are a genius thank you! Said teddy just arrived so I've recorded the recording onto it and it's awesome. Thank you 🙏💚🙏💚 (yes I am a soppy hopeless romantic 😂)

Prema112 · 05/02/2022 13:56

@PeeAche I've just spent about 4 hours on my feet walking around Hampstead Heath with the in laws and I am SHATTERED! I'm now lying on my bed leaving DH to deal with lunch and our son, achey achey pelvis & vagina 😩

PeeAche · 05/02/2022 14:01

@Prema112 my in-laws are coming over for dinner. Again.

Afterwards they'll say I "shouldn't have" and maybe my MIL will carry 2 plates into the kitchen, if I'm lucky.

She'll say: "I wish I had the confidence to not mop before people come over"

Sigh. 😅

Good advice on the bra front, thanks all! I’m wondering what to do about sports bras too? I play badminton every week and have definitely out grown my fav Sports bra.

I was thinking of just buying the same brand but measuring up to my new size, however if they are going to grow even more maybe it’s better to size up further? Anyone else got sports bra recommendations? I usually buy the Anita Active Extreme Control.

Clueless22 · 05/02/2022 15:39

@PeeAche I'm exactly the same, I am 22 weeks and it feels like someone has zapped all the life out of me again. I was hoping it wouldnt be until the third trimester that it would return x

BunBun221 · 05/02/2022 15:45

@CurryandSnuggle yay!! I have a big bump friend! Do you know if you're having a little girl or boy?

MrsTwentyNine · 05/02/2022 16:13

Beautiful bumps ladies!
Ah anyone with a B bump...not the best looking but I can't complain when I have my little boy in there ❤️
Also had whooping cough vaccine yesterday and getting that body ache today...and sore arm but nothing else (for those that previously wondered about side effects!)

mrkb · 05/02/2022 16:21

I've also seen the nicest clothes in boy section! We're having a girl but I just think get whatever we think looks nice - girls can wear blue too!

@Rolledthedice I recently got the two pack of black/white sports bras from M&S as I didn't want to splash out if I'm going to be replacing again in a few weeks (which I definitely will have to at the insane rate mine are growing) but would really recommend. Not too pricey and very comfortable. Going to follow the advice here next time and get a bigger than I think but then wear them on tightest setting.

CurryandSnuggle · 05/02/2022 17:31

@BunBun221 🥰 I quite like it (apart from the discomfort that comes with it 😂). I’m having a girl ❤️ You? Xx

CurryandSnuggle · 05/02/2022 17:32

@MrsTwentyNine thank you 🥰 when you say B bump do you mean big bump? Lol, sorry to sound dumb 😂

BunBun221 · 05/02/2022 17:39

@CurryandSnuggle I'm having a boy! I think in my case the old wives tale of carrying low with a boy is true! Could be entirely coincidental though!

MrsTwentyNine · 05/02/2022 18:30

@CurryandSnuggle haha sadly I googled B shaped bellies and that's where I got it from! It's for those ladies like who already had a belly pre-pregnancy 😩 So it's in the shape of a B with a dent in the middle...🙈

CurryandSnuggle · 05/02/2022 18:57

@BunBun221 I carried low with my DS, and my bump is a different shape this time, much more rounded.

@MrsTwentyNine ah I had that, didn't realise it had a name. My belly has been slightly misshapen since first baby.

CurryandSnuggle · 05/02/2022 18:57

I had a B belly before I mean, but it's not B shaped now interestingly.

PleaseSendNoodles · 05/02/2022 19:30

@MrsNT the bigger cup size is when your milk comes in… so I guess if you breast feed they stay that size til you stop? And I suppose they just go back down if you formula feed?

@BunBun221 and @CurryandSnuggle I’m jealous of your lovely bumps. At 21 weeks mine is FINALLY visible if I wear tight clothing. Went to prenatal yoga last week and everyone said ‘you don’t even look pregnant’ gee, thanks 🙄

Annabell1 · 05/02/2022 19:39

@PeeAche Yes, me too and also 21 weeks. I was really struggling this week at work. Let's hope it's getting better soon.

@Rolledthedice I can really recommend Shock Absorber sports bras. My go-to is the multisport version, but it's a bit too tight for me at the moment so I'm using the classic one. They often have good deals on ebay.

@Prema112 I love the heath. Perfect place for a walk. :)
@BunBun221& @CurryandSnuggle Beautiful bumps you two! ❤️

BunBun221 · 05/02/2022 19:54

Oooh @CurryandSnuggle maybe the old wives tale is true then?!

@MrsTwentyNine I was honestly expecting to have a B belly as I have a high BMI (but think I lost weight in 1st trimester!) So genuinely quite surprised at how round it has become! I'm wondering if my belly button will pop out!

@PleaseSendNoodles thats such a gorgeous bump! Also very jealous you have found a prenatal yoga class! They seem to be few and far between my way!

@Annabell1 aww thank you! I am a bit self conscious of it because it seems much bigger than others at 19 weeks!
