Hi all! Not good news at our 20 week scan. Had amniocentesis today but things aren't looking good. If things aren't as bad as they seem this baby will be born in May - either way I'm not having a June baby.

@GrowBabyGrow Thank you. We've actually been having tests all week with various specials at all different hospitals and each one just brings up additional issues and it just gets worse and worse. Have a final test next week then we will make a decision (or it may be made for us).

What are people's opinions on the value of NCT if you're going down the c-section route? I'm wondering if it's worth it if I'm not planning on natural birth...

I actually found the c section bit on our NCT course really useful (not at the actual time of the course but I ended up having an emergency c section) and it actually calmed me down in theatre as I was aware why there was a lot of people in the theatre etc!

Hi, can anyone recommend a hypnobirthing app? I just paid $6 for iHypnobirthing app and it's quite poor - audios of up to 15 mins only, and just a few of them.
You get so much more of the free calming apps..
Would be nice to find a great one

Anyone here considering VBAC?

Had my birth options phone call this week and I’ve been told that I’m a good candidate for VBAC. I’m now weighing up my options as I was originally thinking I’d just opt for a c-section.

Thinking of you czycoup, crossing my fingers it goes better than they think. 🤞
