@EverydayIsPJday I'm also 4+4, due 29th Sept and not really feeling any symptoms other than extreme fatigue. But it's hard to tell when that's a pregnancy symptom or just having a toddler.

I have taken a few tests just to reassure myself with the seeing the line. Just trying to remember it's early days still

Pinkflamingofly · 24/01/2022 18:53

Im so sorry @sassy144 💔

annlee3817 · 24/01/2022 19:11

Congrats to all the newbies

@Mags146 I and all sorts of horrible sharp pains with my UTI, and also a feeling of pressure, plus backache. Pretty sure I have another one as burning when I wee :( so will be calling the docs tomorrow, worried this is going to be a regular occurrence

madeleine85 · 24/01/2022 19:35

@BntTowers I am the same re. frustration. We are toilet training our little girl who just turned 2. I'm exhausted and she has chosen now to stop napping completely, while being completely wired with energy somehow. Praying for the end of the first trimester and a return to full energy! Weekends are torture, so grateful for childcare and work during the week.

@Chocoholic88 just use the UTI excuse. Shouldn't drink and dehyrdate while on them. I had a scan measuring 6 weeks 4 days and there was a heartbeat, so it is possible to see something. With my DD, we had a first scan around 5 weeks and all you could see was the yolk sac. Fingers crossed for you.

@Sassy144 I am so sorry for your loss, please take care of yourself xx

Hi hope it's ok to join. What I thought was a chemical pregnancy wasn't (I still can't really believe it) but im struggling with nausea already. Any tips🙏 5 weeks today

BlueSky57 · 24/01/2022 19:48

I had my scan appointment at EPU after spending the day in hospital on Friday having bloods done after pain in my lower right abdomen & painful diarrhoea all last week.

From LMP I am 6+5 today but the external scan couldn’t see enough so had internal. The internal showed an enlarged right ovary, a yolk & a sac. The sonographer then said from the fact they couldn’t get measurements they thought I was around 4-5 weeks Confused

I have to go back 2 weeks today for another scan. Since Saturday I’ve had terrible morning sickness all hours of the day, so due to the fact I have lost half a stone since Friday the doctor prescribed tablets to ease the sickness at least.

Billymay · 24/01/2022 19:53

@jazmine38 oh wow lively I was in the thread previous… I’m so happy for you. You really had a time of it. Xx

Mags146 · 24/01/2022 20:14

@annlee3817 oh I hear you! you need to get antibiotics quick! Drink plenty of water as well

jazmine38 · 24/01/2022 20:14

I know! I remember 😊 how are you keeping? Nausea tips??!

jazmine38 · 24/01/2022 20:15

@Billymay forgot to tag baby brain already

Chocoholic88 · 24/01/2022 20:20

@BntTowers @madeleine85 - thanks both, that’s a good idea and would cover me feeling poorly too. Im sure they’ll see right through it as I’m the type to have a few drinks on antibiotics anyway (😂🤦🏼‍♀️) but I guess they won’t know for sure.

Think I’ll still keep the 6 week scan in as it’s driving me crazy not knowing what’s going on and gives me something to work towards as they days are really dragging right now. The last week feels like a year, not sure how I’ll get through the next 35 weeks. Tell me it speeds up once you hit 12 weeks 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

annlee3817 · 24/01/2022 20:26

@mags146 it's all I drink lol, don't like juice, fizzy drinks etc hope yours clears up soon

bailey21 · 24/01/2022 20:39

6 weeks and 3 days today and man the tiredness has really kicked in 😭 anyone else struggling to keep their eyes open?! Don't know how I'm going to get through the week!

I've got my midwife appointment a week on Sunday! I have told my line Mgr early though due to nature of my job and he's been fab about it all!

Sending you alll good vibes for this journey ❤️

Billymay · 24/01/2022 20:41

@jazmine38 when you posted that picture saying bad evap I did wonder as the line was so clear… made up for you. So far I’ve been ok but I’m not 5 weeks yet so super early.. the only thing I get is if I don’t eat enough I can feel myself start to flag like my blood sugar levels drop. How are you? Xxx

Billymay · 24/01/2022 20:42

@jazmine38 I meant chemical xx

TotoAnnihiliation · 24/01/2022 20:58

@Sassy144

Ladies, I'm out ❤️ after spotting for a week today things have taken a turn for the worst and sadly it wasn't meant to be for me. Thanks for all the support and I wish you all happy and healthy pregnancies xxx
I am so sorry, I'll keep you in my thoughts x
jazmine38 · 24/01/2022 21:05

@Billymay literally everything I eat tastes salty and yuck 🤢 I will start in my search for nausea remedies (with a sugar pick me up)! I know what u mean though I couldn't eat lunch and felt myself go super light headed. Forced tea into me coffee is a no go as well. Off tomorrow and feel like I may sleep all day xx

EllieJai44 · 24/01/2022 23:32

Hi Ladies

Joining thus thread although never thought we'd be here again, 3rd baby due....6th Pregnancy- unplanned but not unwanted!

Anxiety is through the roof from previous miscarriages and not sure how to keep a handle on it currently!

I am 6+5, due 15th September by LMP had an early scan last week at 6 weeks exactly and saw a little flickering heart beat! Got another scan at EPU on 3rd Feb!

Currently have a 3 year old girl and 1 year old boy! Kind of worried how to manage them all lol

madeleine85 · 25/01/2022 03:04

@jazmine38 wow that’s such great news! I’m so glad it was a sticky bean ❤️. With my first my diet was irn bru, stodgy white bread and ice lollies. I forced myself to eat broccoli, carrots and steak tonight and I’m feeling ridiculously proud of myself, my husband doesn’t understand why I’m quite so chuffed, but he liked his feast 😂. If you’re feeling really rough, I found that rich tea biscuits were good for grazing, and weren’t awful when I inevitably was sick later. Taking vitamins at bed time was also less pressure for digestion in the morning, and adding b6 definitely made a difference. Hope you’re feeling better soon x

@EllieJai44 congrats and welcome! As I have a DD age 2, and will almost be 3 when DS arrives (all being well), i’m wondering how that integration went? Was it a good age difference? I asked my DD to stop bouncing on my belly tonight as there is a baby there. She was actually really cute about it and kept saying she loves the baby, but then started talking about the baby in her own belly 🤦‍♀️. Im a little scared now in case it goes wrong, but I doubt she’d remember me telling her this if it did. 3 and 1 sound like good ages, by the time the little one comes I think the oldest will hopefully understand/want to help? At least there’s always cartoons for bribery and a distraction!

Whoknew22 · 25/01/2022 06:13

@madeleine85 this is so cute. My little boy is 3 in august and last night putting him to bed, he kicked my tummy. He’s just rough and a menace but obviously doesn’t understand. Was unintentional. I said ‘remember you need to be gentle with mummies tummy’, he rubbed my tummy and said ‘mummy, I touched the baby’. It was the cutest thing ever. I can’t wait to see the bond. I feel the same, it’s so early and anything could still happen. They pick up on so much. I feel he may tell people before we announce it 😂😂

On the subject of red meat, I cannot stomach it at all. This didn’t happen last time. My OH was delighted last night as had 2 steaks 😂

madeleine85 · 25/01/2022 06:28

@Whoknew22 oh that is adorable 🥰. Little ones learning about babies is just so cute ❤️. I’m amazed I can look at red meat, it’s very strange. I can’t look at chicken, and barely want bread. Last pregnancy stodgy carbs were all I wanted. Clearly it’s going to be an expensive first trimester lol.

Congrats Ellie!

One thing I like snacking on when feeling sick is the high fibre Jacobs cream crackers, they're slightly salty compared to the normal ones, getting through loads of them.

EllieJai44 · 25/01/2022 06:35

@madeleine85 my oldest was only just 2 when DS arrived and she's only just 3 now, the first thing she did when she met her brother was try and put him back in the car seat and take him outside haha

She soon came round but we did have about a week or two of bad nights where she didn't want to go bed and would wake in night and cry but otherwise was good! Definitely could have been worse! Now she adores him, they play really well and she helps to soothe him if he cries!
