I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

Does anyone else get to about 8pm and then end up unbelievably thirsty!

I end up downing drinks from 8ish until I go to bed! Try and just have a mouthful but start drinking and can't stop!

Obviously this is water or juice - no alcohol involved

I would imagine its too early for pregnancy Diabetes , but I'm no expert i'm sure it can happen early on ?? just keep an eye on it as excessive thirst is a sign of diabetes if it continues see your GP or Hosp

@sg0706 I got a BFP for our 2nd child 10 DPO, my AF was due 11 DPO and I cramped horribly for 2 days constantly, but no bleeding. Since then i'd say the first week I had a lot of on/off cramps. I definitely dont remember it being this bad first time around. Now it is the occasional twinge. Hope you are feeling better!

Hi, ladies. My EDD is 2nd September. I'm exactly 6w today. I had an early scan on Wednesday since this is ivf pregnancy, they saw only the gestational sac, which I suppose is normal.
But now I saw a tiny amount of brown spotting and having mild cramps and I'm just freaking out. It took us 3.5 years to get this bfp.

Anyone have cramps more towards one side? Just had my BFP and have had cramps on left side mainly but also some cramps in the centre too, it’s kind of like a mild period pain, I also have an aches left inner thigh going up towards my pelvis, anyone had this before?

@KatBeCool firstly huge congratulations on making it to this point of your journey, you must be over the moon! I think that brown spotting is very ok, brown tends to mark old blood rather than fresh stuff. If you see red you should contact your health services/EPU for a check up. Personally, I haven't spotted when pregnant yet, but it is incredibly common. My sister had two actual period type bleeds and her child is a healthy happy one year old now. Given what you have been through your worry is very understandable. Hope it goes away very soon. If you are in any doubt, i'd call the EPU, worst case they send you away, but at least you know you tried.

@KatBeCool congratulations on your bfp! My EDD is 2nd September too  I think brown spotting can be normal at this stage as it's old blood, so FX it's just that. Do you have another scan booked soon?

@MBN25 I had quite a bit of cramping in the first 5 weeks, sometimes all over and sometimes just one side. As long as there isn't any blood with the cramping you should be fine, so I'm told! It's your uterus stretching to get ready to make room for baby xx

@KatBeCool Hey, I'm an IVFer too. I'm not getting my clinc scan until 7+4 but I wouldn't worry about the spotting if its stopped now - I had a little bit of spotting on myprogesterone applicator a few days ago that was very minor. Taking progesterone also irritates your cervix

I've had a bit of on and off neasuea but bloody hell this morning I got up to make a cuppa tea and my stomach is rough as hell. Had to lie back down again. Dreading needing to swallow my morning IVF meds 🤢 anyone one else really being hit with morning sickness yet?

Morning sickness has been every other day for me weirdly, bad on those days and really mild on the ones in between.

Also got a painful UTI, so on antibiotics and hoping they kick in quickly. Worrying as had urinary retention twice in my last pregnancy at 15 and 16 weeks, so fearing this is the start and I'll end up with it again.

@MBN25 I have had cramps since I fell pregnant. I am 5+6 on paper but I think I'm about 5.
My cramps are only really on the right lower side. Sometimes I can't tell where they are. And yesterday I had a sore lower back. I am going for a vaginal scan on Monday to make sure everything's okay as I panicked 2 days ago when they felt a little sharper than usual.
Lots of people on here reassured me that they had cramps to.
I'll keep you posted and let you know any they say.
I've had no bleeding, just hoping bubba is in the right place.
Not had the inner thigh pain but I've read that others have had that too!

Has anyone else gone right off a cup of tea? I am usually a teapot! And I don't really want it. Very strange!

Hi @2mumlife 👋 Yes I remember your name from an ivf thread last spring. Seems like ages ago and now here we are still in an anxiety inducing waiting game 😂

@KatBeCool hi fellow ivf'er. I have woken with similar, old brown blood when I wipe but **tmi alert I think there's more in there yet to come out as there is quite a lot. Did you have 1 or 2 transfered? I'm wondering if this is one that didn't make it?

No thank god I live for tea and this is my worse nightmare , I've had to limit what I can have though and I'm not sure how I'm going to manage till September. If people seen me going off of tea the jig would be up straight away.

@HopefulMummy44 this hasn't happened to me yet this pregnancy, but last time the thought of any hot drink was just the worst so I feel your pain! So annoying when you're feeling grim and just could really do with one isn't it!

Anyone else experienced this, all of a sudden I have this weird poking pain in the centre of my belly, only last a couple of mins, very weird but was cleaning and was like ouch! Got my BFP 2 days ago.

I am 4 weeks and 5 days .. EDD is 17th September which is the same as my first this is my 3rd pregnancy after experiencing a CP June last year. Fingers crossed this one sticks.

@nadia1957 I have the next scan on the 19th. I don't have the patience. Why such important thing has to be so invisible?

@2mumlife I think the spotting is almost done. It got pinkish once but now brown and almost nonexistent. I don't do any inserts though, I requested only injections. I almost don't absorb anything inserted, at one point a while back my progesterone level was literally 1.5 after I stuffed myself full of insertables for almost a week.
I diligently take my pre-/probiotics every day to prevent nausea. I can't say whether it's working or not but I had nausea only once and that was way back around four weeks. My next bottle of probiotics has vitamin B6, which is also known to help battle nausea. Maybe try it? Better than taking any medication. They're also making me quite regular, if you know what I mean, haha.

@C1aire85 I had two transferred. On my scan there was not even a sign of the second one, and they didn't see any blood or fluids so it's probably not it. How many did you have transferred? When is your scan?

Is anyone ever aware at this point that you are actually pregnant? I mean, like, my boobs hurt a bit, I can feel they're bigger somewhat. But I don't feel anything else. Maybe tiny cramping here and there. And the extra hunger. But I can't say "oh yeah, I'm definitely pregnant". I almost want to be nauseated, although I hope not to regret saying this lol.

@KatBeCool I don't feel much of anything Im 5 weeks +1 , Its my first so Ive no idea what to expect. The only thing is some twinges in my stomach only way i can describe it is sometimes it feels like my ovaries are stuck to the wall of my stomach and it hurts for a second when i move otherwise nothing. Is it weird if i take some more tests I've taken 3 all positive but it doesn't seem real , anyone else doing this ? Or am I just being a bit crazy ?

@LizzeyBenett I've lost count on how many tests I've taken and I'm 5 weeks too! I think I keep getting paranoid because I'm not feeling much so wanted to keep checking my line is getting darker. I think I want to do one more digital one too to make sure the weeks have gone up and then I'll stop 😂

I'm a teacher too. I have no idea how mat leave etc will pan out. I'll worry about it in a few months, I want to get past these early days first.

My first pregnancy was a MMC, then I got pregnant with DD straight after.

Do anyones symptoms seem to come and go? I had tender boobs and nausea but they now seem to have disappeared. Trying not to panic too much and telling myself it is normal, but also can't help but worry. I have an early scan booked in at the IVF clinic on Monday. I'll be 6+3 so hoping to get some reassurance then but it feels like it's forever away!
