Ignore type in previous post
So tired I'm hitting the bed at 7.30pm with some Witcher!

MrsTwentyNine · 20/12/2021 19:30

Typo** my goodness!!

Lostintranslatio · 20/12/2021 20:19

Can someone tell me when the nausea subsidies approx? It is starting to affect me mentally. 12w5d today and, except for a few random days where I've felt normal, here I am considering going to sleep because I can't cope with the queasiness anymore. I usually wake up feeling good, but in the afternoons I start to feel worse and the evenings are horrible 😢

Lostintranslatio · 20/12/2021 20:23

Subsides *

Sorry for the typo 😅

BunBun221 · 20/12/2021 20:43

@Lostintranslatio so I'm still getting nausea particularly badly at certain times of the day (I'm also 12+5) according to my scan today for me its worse in the mornings by far - especially when my tummy is empty or I'm really hungry. I touch wood haven't actually thrown up in about a week now

Lostintranslatio · 20/12/2021 20:48

@BunBun221I I hope it goes away for both of us soon ☺️ I know I'm "lucky" as I have only vomited once, but the sick feeling has accompanied me since before week 6, so getting very frustrated.

Brightsmoke · 20/12/2021 21:16

Welcome to all the new people :)

@FestiveCovid I'm so sorry you had such an awful response from people! It's really bad that they reacted that way after you were advised to ask for certain things :(

@MrsNT as @sunflower198 said, small flutterings here but also number 2. This baby has been turning sideways so it's sticking it's head out of my belly. Very annoying and very uncomfortable. My son never did this to me 😂

@Lostintranslatio I've got a chameleon. Someone was selling it 2nd hand really cheap so snapped it up. I had the bugaboo buffalo with my son, over £1k and he barely used it 😅. I'm 16+3 and have felt 'normal' for about 2-3 weeks. So 🤞🏻 it stops for you soon too

@ellecf21 I'm guessing girl from that scan pic :)

I've got my 16 week appointment tomorrow, then a get Christmas out the way, a few more weeks and I'll see baby again and find out gender. Going to do a mini gender reveal just for my son. I don't like the big ones personally, but I think my son would like it :)

Prema112 · 20/12/2021 21:58

@Lostintranslatio I know exactly how you feel! I got to 12 weeks and couldn't believe I was feeling rubbish still. And mine got worse as the day went on too, by 6pm I was longing for bedtime so I could go to sleep and not few sick anymore. At 14 weeks I was really sad as I still felt terrible. I'm 16+5 and I would say sickness has massively shifted in the last few days, probs from 16 weeks

PurpleMoon12 · 20/12/2021 22:13

@Lostintranslatio my sickness/nausea started to subside at 14 weeks, then had one last massive random vomit a few days ago at 15 weeks exactly. Now I'm 15+4 and not felt sick once in 4 whole days. I can feel my body recovering now and I'm actually eating!

Vimto1991 · 20/12/2021 22:44

@Lostintranslatio
I wanna fill you with hope but I’ve had a bit of a bad experience. I was so nauseous from the get go to 12 weeks then from then I started actually being sick.
I’m 16 weeks on Wednesday and just thrown up my dinner so eating microwaveable chips to make up for it. I am also wondering when the sickness will end. It’s worth it, but definitely takes its toll. 🙈

Got my private gender scan tomorrow!! I’ve seen the baby three times now, and don’t mind which gender as it’s our first. I actually find I get a bit sad when it’s over as it means another four week wait to see them again. 😩

PleaseSendNoodles · 20/12/2021 22:47

@blueberryy I live in the States so not far from you…. comparatively 🤣 When’s your due date?

RoseValleyRambles · 20/12/2021 23:28

Thanks @unknownscot. Not thinking proper sleeps but just naps if they doze off in the buggy - I shall check lie flat capabilities! Yet another complicated thing... :)

CurryandSnuggle · 20/12/2021 23:47

@Lostintranslatio my sickness has gone about 4 days or 5 days ago. I’m 16+3. Fingers crossed it goes for you very soon as it’s horrible xx

Lostintranslatio · 21/12/2021 02:27

Thank you all!! So I guess I still have a few weeks to go feeling like this 😅 I was hoping for a nice and enjoyable Christmas but maybe not 😂😂😂

Prema112 · 21/12/2021 04:00

Wide awake at 3.30 again... But, I can feel little flumpy flumping around inside me so it makes the insomnia into a pretty special time 😍 Hope you're all sleeping well!

jennixxx · 21/12/2021 04:45

@Prema112 im the same! cant sleep for the life of me !!

Prema112 · 21/12/2021 04:50

@jennixxx Hi! You're not alone!

Matilda30 · 21/12/2021 05:09

Yeah 5am is the latest I'm sleeping!

Lostintranslatio · 21/12/2021 06:38

@Prema112 I have been awake since 2.30am 😂 I'm already in holidays so planning to take a nap later. Now getting ready for my 12w appointment 😁😁🤞🤞🤞

Turniptracker · 21/12/2021 06:59

I'm almost 15 weeks and I've found my nausea has slipped to nighttime now so I feel horrible and unwell when I'm sleeping. Every time I wake up I just feel yuk and have to try and drink a lot of water before falling back asleep. I'm looking forward to week 16 and hopefully this will end by the sounds of it!!

MrsTwentyNine · 21/12/2021 07:28

@Prema112 how exciting!! What was your first feeling ?? Was it like "bubbles" as everyone calls it ? I thought I felt a heartbeat down there as I was lying in bed but I'm sure I imagined it as how can I! I'm only 15 weeks tomorrow though...

I felt that my nausea got worse in the evening around week 10/11 too. I still have it at night but it's definitely getting better 🤞🏽 So around 15/16 sound about right! Though I'm very very tired
Prema112 · 21/12/2021 07:40

@Lostintranslatio & @Matilda30 sorry to hear you've not been sleeping either but nice to know I'm not alone. I managed another hour 6-7 then my son came in, oh well good practise for when baby comes I guess 😅

@MrsTwentyNine I've been feeling baby for about 2 weeks (17 weeks tmw) At first it was like muscle twitches but now I'm feeling tiny kicks which is so lovely! You will feel yours soon too!

Matilda30 · 21/12/2021 08:06

@Prema112 I started work at 7 so not too bad anyway. How old's your little one? Mine's 6 so a bit of an age gap.

CurryandSnuggle · 21/12/2021 08:11

@MrsTwentyNine the baby could have had hiccups Smile
