@missv556 good luck ❤️ Mines on Wednesday where il be 12 wks 5 days I think! I remember joining this group at basically 4 and a half weeks was dragging at the start now it’s flown by! Xxx

Morning all,
Been quiet on here past few weeks, just counting down the days to my scan. Just caught up and glad to see most of you are coming along well

Breaks my heart reading about some others who are going through a tough time - sending lots of love your way

Although my midwife dates me at 12weeks on xmas day, my NHS 12week scan is on 30th Dec as they couldn't fit me in sooner.
So we went for a private scan yesterday and they dated me at 11weeks 2 days. Everything looked fine and I was amazed to see how much baby had grown since my 6 week scan It was bouncing around lots and straightening and bending it's little legs - just amazing to see.

I have just told my boss this morning, which went a lot better than I thought it would, so will announce to everyone else this week probably.

Hope everybody’s holding up & the nausea is abating?

Got called back in to the midwives today as the trainee who did my initial blood tests mislabelled the vials and then managed to contaminate my urine sample whilst decanting it Had to redo everything which is frustrating but my new midwife was lovely.

12w scan is tomorrow morning and I’m going in alone as it was booked at such short notice by the hospital. Not anxious about the scan itself but worried about the screening results - I’m 34 and have a higher BMI, which I know will skew the odds. Toying with the idea of a private NIPT test anyway, just for peace of mind but can’t quite decide…

I’ve seen a few others have scans tomorrow - all fingers & toes crossed that yours go well

Hi everyone! Hope you are all ok! Is anyone else dreading Xmas day because of the nausea? I usually LOVE Christmas, and have a 9 year old daughter so she's the perfect age but due to the constant nausea and sickness I'm really not looking forward to it 😭 there is no way I'll be able to eat any Xmas dinner and afternoon/eve is my worse time and all I wanna do is curl up in bed 😭😭😭

@sle0911 oh I definitely am! I love my food but I'm so nervous. I'm hoping it's a good day for me as I'm heading into second trimester now and the good days are happening more and more!!

Another private scan for me today...they're proper babies now 😭 got some amazing videos of twin 1 with hiccups ! My anxiety has calmed down a lot after today.

@sle0911 my nausea seems to have abated slightly although eating/craving crisps ALL the time!
Hopefully yours may get better in a couple of days.

Hey guys! I was on here before but forgot my password and couldn't get back in. 🙄

I have my 12w scan on Thursday - super super nervous!

I was meant to have a hospital appt last week because I have a big cyst on my ovary, but it got cancelled because of covid. :(

Still feeling nauseous although the breast pain seems to be going away, hope that's not a bad sign.

Also really dizzy whenever I stand up!

Had my scan and as expected I have to go back in 2 weeks. But my alien is doing just fine. I've got a gymnast on my hands cos the little crackers child was somersaulting all over the place 😂 that's the best pic the sonographer could get cos my little wriggler just wouldn't keep still

Hi, I was on the original thread but I've been too nervous about all going wrong to get very involved! 12 week scan is tomorrow as I can see a few other have theirs tomorrow as well...I've got everything crossed for us all!

Can I join please - think I'm 10+2 due mid July.

Just had my 12 week scan and am measuring 12+6 now so I’m actually due 29th June! I secretly wanted a June baby as we have so many birthdays in July already 😂 all looking well so far!

Scan done this morning and measuring exactly 12 weeks! Got told off for not drinking enough but if been drinking all morning...must have been dehydrated! And frustratingly I was desperate for a wee about 10 mins after leaving the room ...such awful pictures!

Hope everyone else's scans have gone well...feeling so relieved now!

Oh and I was given a due date of 5th July, anyone the same??

Lovely to get the all clear before Xmas

@Maybepossibly22 I had the call about antibodies in my last pregnancy, it was fine. If they find them again at a later test it just means they have to check they have the right sort of blood on hand for you just in case I think, but I didn't have to have any. I'm also rhesus neg so have anti d, they found some antibodies from my (rhesus positive) first baby and then some others too. Definitely don't worry about it!

So lovely to see all these scans! Mine is 28th - new fear is getting covid before, it feels completely inevitable, every negative lateral flow I feel like we are using up our luck!

I've a proper bump now, there's no hiding it!

I’m 7th July, so close to yours

Also started off with some terrible pictures at my scan earlier. Little one was wiggly and in totally the wrong position. The pictures were so bad in fact that we had to switch to an internal ultrasound but then things got much clearer thankfully. Grateful to have a determined ultrasound tech!

NT measurement was super low which was my main concern - phew.

@UncomfortableBadger I almost wish they'd had to do an internal scan on me seeing your lovely pics! Honestly the ones from my 8 week early scan looked better that the ones I got today! Oh well, baby is healthy and has a nice low NT measurement too so that's what matters. Glad all is looking good for you too!

TBH I don’t think they had much choice - the abdominal scans were laughably bad No chance of getting any measurements from that one at all!

Lovely to see all your scan photos.

My scan appt has come through for 12th Jan which will mean I'm over 13 weeks if my dates are correct.

Thank you so much @Effram I’ve been so anxious about it so relieved to know all was ok for you! Had to have another lot of bloods done yesterday and the MW told me what the worst case scenario would be (Rh disease, in utero blood transfusion etc etc) but she said whatever happen it can be dealt with!

Had my scan I’m 13 weeks today exactly baby was wriggling and waving now I’m due date 28th of June ❤️ Will attach picture I’m now thinking girl
