@naemates I definitely don't think you are being dramatic at all. When I had my first check in on Monday, I told the midwife that I was half expecting her to tell me I've got it all wrong.... haha.
You will feel good about that first meeting as it is very reassuring to know all the tests they are doing, urine, blood and carbon monoxide and really ensuring they understand you, your partner and any family history.
I have Raynauds and they are putting me under a medical team to specifically assess me further because apparently it's a risk (which I never expected) and also because I have had a couple of loop colposcopy's previously - she was waiting to find out which is classed as higher priority. So I am not worried about either, instead I feel I am in safe hands, which is good.
@Effram thank you - will it really be moving around by now.... wow, I don't know what to expect. I have just booked in and have the scan this evening at 5:30pm, so it is all about to get real.... excited beyond belief and incredibly anxious but, all natural emotions I guess so just have to go with it....
I actually want to get a pregnancy journal as the emotions and conversations about names etc are ever changing and so funny, I think it would be nice to show him/her in the future. I remember my mum showing me one she had done while pregnant with me and it's nice to see.
