@Suprima I was considering a Sneakpeek test but the reviews are so mixed and apparently it's quite easy for male DNA to contaminate the sample! I'm still quite tempted though.. let us know how you get on with it?!

Effram · 29/11/2021 12:40

Mine measured exactly fine for what I thought my dates were, it put me a bit 'behind' for my LMP but I knew I'd ovulated later. I really don't think 3 days is anything to be concerned about, you could well catch up by next scan! When will it be?

If you disinfect your surfaces, don’t let any men touch it and ensure it’s a clean environment- you shouldn’t have any problems. The instructions make it really clear that only females should touch the testing kit and you need to wipe everything down.

In most of the bad reviews, I would guess that people have played their sons, haven’t scrubbed their fingernails or used the table where the male cat has been prowling!

@Effram

Hi all - sending lots of love to Cruz86 but again not tagging in case you're avoiding the thread.

@feliznavidad2 glad everything went well!

I get dizzy and faint easily too, my nausea has been worst afternoon/evenings and I just feel so ick by bed time but it's manageable I just need to not let myself get hungry or overeat... sometimes I'm not good at the balance! Have had a few moments when I've had to quickly get my head between my knees to avoid fainting too. I think it's due to the huge increase in blood in the body I remember ready. Another trick is to tense your bum really tight... makes the blood flow round your body quickly as the bum is such a big muscle, so it can get it up to you head too if you feel light headed. Had to use that on the tube a few times in previous pregnancies!

I had a scan at 6+3 and saw a heartbeat. 8 days until my harmony test and scan when I'll be 10+2, can't believe it's nearly here as when I booked it it felt ages off. Still having to call the hospital regularly to try and rearrange my 12 week scan, it's booked for Christmas Eve and we will be at my in-laws by then. Hospital is swamped though, they're already scanning Saturdays and Sundays and just have no space! The harmony test will include the checks they do at 12 week scan so that at least will make me feel a bit more comfortable if they end up moving the NHS one until after Christmas.

I am also starting to show already which is quite hilarious at 9 weeks... some friends guessed last week from the bump and I've seen other parents clock it when I do the nursery run so looking forward to not having to constantly breathe in so much...!

This is so helpful thank you! There were a fair few bum squeezes in tesco today 😂
Capricorn8990 · 29/11/2021 14:58

@Coco9910 thank you! Do you have a scan booked yet? It was great to get it on video. I've brought the scan forward to Wednesday so counting down the days xx

Capricorn8990 · 29/11/2021 14:59

@kelsn96 how're you feeling today? My nausea comes and goes too. It makes me worry as well but we must try to enjoy our pregnancy. Hopefully we get our scans before Christmas too xx

sle0911 · 29/11/2021 16:26

Hope everyone is good! I'm struggling big time with nausea, been prescribed cyclizine but it's currently not touching the sides 😭 8+3 today and have my first midwife appt tomorrow which is exciting, fingers crossed the nausea subsides soon🤞🏼🤞🏼

Capricorn8990 · 29/11/2021 16:52

@sle0911 nausea is the worst isn't it?! Good luck with your midwife app tomorrow ❤️

Lucinda19 · 29/11/2021 17:04

Hi everyone I'm due 21st July 2022 I think going off my last period so I'm 6 weeks 4 days so anxious due to a loss in the past and scared of becoming mum to 4 children my youngest is 1 born October 2020!

kelsn96 · 29/11/2021 17:23

@Capricorn8990 today's been ok, I have been very tired and felt the cold a lot more than I normally do. Had slight nausea this morning for around 20-30 mins then wore off! I've been getting on and off cramping mixed with cramping in my right side and it's got me a bit worried this has been ongoing since last Thursday. It's not painful but it's uncomfortable. Midwife reassured me it will be stretching pains but I'm optimistic. Debating wether to ring the EPAU for advise but terrified in case they want to scan me, I'm not prepared for any bad news :( how have you been today?

Capricorn8990 · 29/11/2021 18:08

@Lucinda19 welcome! Have you told your children that you're expecting? X

@kelsn96 sounds very similar to me hun. I've had twinges and I've really worried but trying to think that it's just everything stretching and accommodating for baby. Do call them if you're concerned though, you have the right to. I was terrified when I had an early scan at 6w 3d but relieved when I saw what I did. Our worries are so normal so maybe call them and just explain your concerns x

kelsn96 · 29/11/2021 18:12

@Capricorn8990 thanks for getting back to me! yeah, I think for my own peace of mind it's probably best if I do rather than over worry myself! Did you have your early scan with the NHS?xx

Capricorn8990 · 29/11/2021 18:23

@kelsn96 you're welcome. Yes I did hun, just cos I had some pain in my shoulder and I was worried so doctor referred me and I had an internal ultrasound. The sonographers were amazing at easing me as I cried lol. It's just super emotional!

Going for a private one this Wednesday so trying to keep positive for that xx

Coco9910 · 29/11/2021 18:32

@Capricorn8990 yes got one booked for the 12th. Had it booked for the 19th but brought it forward a week. I’m excited but also anxious..I just hope everything is okay and going as it should! Good luck with your scan on Wednesday! How far along will you be?

Coco9910 · 29/11/2021 18:33

@Lucinda19 hi, that’s my predicted due date too, although I reckon my actual one will be more like 26th July. How have you been feeling?

Capricorn8990 · 29/11/2021 19:03

@Coco9910 positive vibes! I'm sure your scan will come around in no time. It is nerve wracking though. I'll be 8 weeks 3 days. How far will you be? X

kelsn96 · 29/11/2021 19:16

@Capricorn8990 Aww!! That's lovely. Well I'm going to ring the EPAU tomorrow and see if I can get some advice or seen too. I'll be nervous as hell but can't be any worse than I am now! I hope all goes well for you on Wednesday!! So exciting xx

Loladiego38 · 29/11/2021 19:26

@Capricorn8990
Ooo yay bump buddies xx

Lucinda19 · 29/11/2021 20:11

I haven't told the children no as I had a missed miscarriage at 9weeks in 2019 which they knew about it broke their hearts hated seeing them so upset so me and hubby decided our pregnancy will be secret for first 12 weeks although my mum figured it out! She was planning Christmas and wanted to know how much processco was needed made me giggle she just knew then I was pregnant! I've been feeling fine not really any symptoms missed my period had a bit of back pain, few cramps and lately a bit of nausea! Booked a private scan on 21st December just for peace of mind as my NHS one will probably be after Christmas!

Coco9910 · 29/11/2021 20:18

@Capricorn8990 I will be 8+4 according to my apps but I reckon I’m a bit behind due to ovulating around day 20 so think I’ll be more like 7+5. Yes I bet it will come around quickly! Let me know how you get on on Wednesday 💕

Maybepossibly22 · 29/11/2021 21:19

Hi all, just caught up, lovely seeing all your scan pictures!
Anxiety is at an all time high for me, not many symptoms (but I didn’t with DD so not unusual for me), just getting occasional tingly/stabby boobs, tiredness and waking up in the night to wee then not being able to get back to sleep. I should be 6 weeks tomorrow, just keeping everything crossed that all is ok in there!

laurenGame · 30/11/2021 00:02

@Effram

Mine measured exactly fine for what I thought my dates were, it put me a bit 'behind' for my LMP but I knew I'd ovulated later. I really don't think 3 days is anything to be concerned about, you could well catch up by next scan! When will it be?
Next scan is in 16 days but I can call and have one sooner if I want, not sure whether ii should.

I know I didn't ovulate later as I did digital ovulation test. I also didn't implant later as I for BFP 11dpo, before my period.

I'm torn between doing a scan soon or wait 16 days. What if it's still measuring slightly behind....

PleaseSendNoodles · 30/11/2021 02:30

Hmmm @laurenGame it’s a really tricky one. I think I’d personally go early because I’m impatient but maybe it’s better to wait if you can put it to the back of your mind? Which are you leaning towards?
