@PleaseSendNoodles
I've called and OB is on leave but he will have substitute OBs so they're sorting app for me now. I feel like such a hassle Blush

But my boobs are not sore anymore and appetite is back - I thought in 9 hormones peak so was expecting the worst symptoms.

Anyway I think it's okay but will be nice to do a reassurance scan. I feel way safer now at 9 weeks compared to 5! I do feel like this bean is here to stay, just hope it grows Smile

feliznavidad2 · 30/11/2021 04:53

Insomnia-ing over here 😫 😩

Elsols93 · 30/11/2021 09:18

@feliznavidad2 iv been up since 4am I find if I don’t sleep well I’m really sick in the morning too 😢

Effram · 30/11/2021 09:19

@laurenGame Remember the babies don't always get the memos - we are talking about mm at this stage so ultrasounds aren't always perfectly accurate, which can change it by a day or so, and also babies just grow at different rates, so 3 days can be fine! I would try and hang on as long as poss for a scan but then ring if the anxiety takes over but I'm sure that little difference is completely fine!

HoneyPea · 30/11/2021 10:27

@laurenGame When I went for my scan last Thursday I thought I was 8weeks based on LMP and shorter cycle length, midwife had me down as 7+6 but they measured baby at 7+2. I started stressing about how many days off it was but from what I have read they are dealing with such small numbers it can be so easy to be out by a number of days, at least it isn't out by weeks!

ShellUK09 · 30/11/2021 10:50

Hi all, I'm really struggling with morning sickness now at nearly 8 weeks. It's not morning sickness, more like feeling sick most of the time! It comes in waves on and off throughout the day, and I've vomited a few times, but thankfully most of the time I can keep food down. I've had to take two sick days off work so far this week and have said I've got a bad migraine but have a bad feeling I'll have to say something to my workplace soon about the pregnancy when I'd rather not tell them until a bit later. I work half the week at home so the end of the week I could just work at home as means I don't have to go on the bus which makes me feel even sicker. Thankfully I've got a GP appointment on Friday so will see what he advises, a note to say full time home working would be a real help! Not sure if he can do that though. Does anyone have any tips to ease the sickness? Tried dry crackers this morning and that seemed to help a bit. Hope this feeling eases off soon! Confused

laurenGame · 30/11/2021 11:43

@HoneyPea did the bean catch up eventually?
The thing is I know 3 days is ok, but what if it's just started to lag behind Confused and gets more and more behind its dates

Ive booked a scan on Monday Blush obstetrician must think I'm a drama Queen cos he told me not to worry (don't they always say that though?!)

Lostintranslatio · 30/11/2021 13:17

Hello! I'm just back from my Panorama test appointment and we got to see the little bean moving arms and legs ❤️ In both scans I've had so far I was told I'm a few days ahead o what I think but I'm pretty sure about dates and when I ovulated.

HoneyPea · 30/11/2021 13:50

@laurenGame I don't know if it's caught up as I still don't have a date for my 12week scan yet. I had the scan as an emergency as they thought it could be ectopic so I was just happy the little bean was in the correct place with a heartbeat at the time. I am wondering if I just make smaller babies though as I'm only 4'10 and my little boy was only 6lb2oz when he was born. I have read that a mm can make the difference of a few days at this early stage which is why they don't do dating scans until 12weeks when it is much more reliable! X

SamanthaVimes · 30/11/2021 14:04

@ShellUK09 weirdly I find if I eat little and often I feel less sick. If I get hungry I then feel really I’ll which makes it hard to eat so it’s a bit of a vicious circle!
Also carbs are my friend

ItsSunnyOutside · 30/11/2021 15:50

Just checking in!

I'm 7 wks + 4 days, due date 15th July.
Still early days but hoping all is OK.
I rang the gp to book in my booking in appointment with the MW. I have it next Monday by phone, I was hoping to have it face to face but I guess this is a sign of the times.

All day nausea is in full force, it gets worse in the eve. Another unpleasant symptom is excess saliva, I had this with my 1st dc too! It makes the nausea worse, I'm just constantly spitting into tissues and sipping cold water, which helps. Woke up last night and my pillow had a nice big wet patch Shock

@ShellUK09 things that help me with the nausea are eating quite plain foods, which it sounds like you are. I've been eating lots of toast and bagels. (Not the healthiest, but better then nothing!) I had mashed potato with some veg and abit of chicken the other night and that didn't make me feel sick.
Also sipping ice cold water with some lemon slices in helps the nausea subside slightly for me . I know ginger is supposed to help , I've got some ginger and lemon tea, going to try that later on.
I hope yours nausea gets better soon.

ShellUK09 · 30/11/2021 18:50

@SamanthaVimes thank you, I've been trying to eat little and often today and weirdly it does help if you can stomach it. The only thing I could face for tea was two potato waffles and some salad 😅 the waffles definitely settled my stomach anyway! x

@ItsSunnyOutside thanks, will have to try the cold water and lemon. I'm making my way through quite a few ginger biscuits and they do have an immediate effect. I have to see my GP in person on Friday who then refers me to the midwife, apparently the GP needs to confirm the pregnancy first but surely they will just do the same tests I have done so wish they could have referred me straight to the booking appointment. I had delayed contacting the GP due to an early MC a few month ago so wanted to be further on when I contacted them, but now I just need to be in the system! Hope your booking appointment goes well x

laurenGame · 01/12/2021 04:00

I've started bleeding. Lots of it. Fresh red.

Thinking of you @laurenGame x

kelsn96 · 01/12/2021 09:57

This morning I had some discoloured discharge, seemed to have a slight pink tinge to it. I also then had a small amount of brown discharge. Spoke to the EPAU who have booked me in for a scan on Monday, however, I'm not hopeful, I fear I'm going to miscarry again and cannot allow myself to think positively for a second, only prepare for the worse! Has anyone experienced this? I'm 8 week 1 day.

MrsCtobe91 · 01/12/2021 10:27

Thinkinkg of you @laurenGame and have everything crossed that it's nothing serious 🤞🏻

@kelsn96 i know its easier said then done because i have been there myself but try not to worry, it will just drain you mentally. Hopefully your scan monday will show everything being all well. I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Capricorn8990 · 01/12/2021 11:11

@laurenGame I'm thinking of you xxxx
