@ALHCTPS CRYING with laughter at your diamond vagina yoga sesh. Just read it out to DH and we both laughed again! 😂😂 brilliant!xx

@Wellthiswasunexpected I'm sorry you had such a crappy experience. Don't let it put you off though, maybe Pilates would be better as it's definitely less spiritual with none of the 'connection' malarkey? I'm going to start again once my bleeding buggers off. I definitely want some strength to push this bubba out and salvage some of my stomach post labour! Pilates is so great for your core, since I've been pregnant and stopped I've already lost flexibility and get back ache again! Grrrr xxx

3yearstrying · 17/11/2021 19:16

@Prema112 omg thats adorable congrats! A proper baby! Im so scared to just see an empty sac again but i cannot wait till the 2nd December to find outGrin

PeeAche · 17/11/2021 20:00

Oh my god, that yoga story 😅 I'm dying!

@Iamhev I have shortness of breath too. I think it's progesterone. I changed all the beds today and nearly died.

CurryandSnuggle · 17/11/2021 20:08

@Iamhev I’m getting it a bit too when I’m walking. It’s frustrating as I was running a marathon recently and now I can barely walk my son to school without breaking out into a sweat and panting 😂 I assume it’s normal (and probably not helped by my current addiction to crisps)

Wellthiswasunexpected · 17/11/2021 20:34

@Prema112 @Pandamama88 Right? Maybe I misunderstood the brief I assumed a prenatal exercise class was a gentler session that isn’t cardio or abdominal focused. Not just for people about to pop!

@beansprout55 I like that idea. Will try pilates. You’re right, would be silly to give up now! Really hope your bleeding goes away soon, too.

jennixxx · 17/11/2021 20:34

Does anyone else here wake up really early hours of the morning with sickness? Im 10+2 and i wasnt getting much if any morning sickness until i hit 10 weeks and its horrible! My apetite is awful aswell im still eating but everything makes me feel sick right now !

DaimDillyDoo · 17/11/2021 21:05

I also am short of breath - DP said why are you panting like a dog? Blush I genuinely didn't even know/realise I was!

HWka · 17/11/2021 21:20

@Prema112 gorgeous scan! Congratulations!
@Wellthiswasunexpected so sorry you had a crappy experience- what sort of pregnancy class isn’t warm and welcoming?! Sounds like one you’re best off leaving anyway! Definitely find something else to enjoy ☺️

MrsNT · 17/11/2021 21:33

Hey ladies..thanks for your lovely msgs..guess i was just being emotional haha.ok now..

laurenGame · 17/11/2021 21:50

@Prema112 what a lovely scan, mine is 4 weeks away still hope it flies! (I'm due 5 July so spend my time here and on the June thread too)

@jennixxx I woke up at 2am last night with awful sickness, couldn't sleep. I'm not sure if throwing up makes people feel better?
I'm also losing weight as I I can't face anything of the foods or drink, a bit worried I'm not getting nutrients, yest I had:

Breakfast: 2 crumpets
Lunch: 1 slice of toast
Dinner: 2 handfuls of spaghetti

It just seems like very little food and I've lost 3 kgs already, I really don't know what to do 🤧

@beansprout55 I am really really missing Pilates. My spotting has gone 🤞and I'm thinking to start it next week. When are you thinking to? Also had careful sex two days ago and it didn't cause spotting! Feeling better, hope you are doing well too x

@Wellthiswasunexpected that seemed like a weird class, I've been to pregnancy Pilates and it was just women of all sizes doing more gentle exercise! Thank you for your story as it'll make me equity before I book a class now it's not you, it's them!

@Iamhev oh please don't worry - few of us here have shortness of breath inc me, never heard it as a bad sign! It's a normal well known pregnancy sign Smile

beansprout55 · 17/11/2021 22:06

@laurenGame oh that's so so amazing! How many days without spotting now? So happy for you xx

I have another scan tomorrow as I'm still anxious that it hasn't stopped. 3 weeks today! Some days it's almost nothing and other days it's more.

If I hadn't had this bleeding I would already be back at Pilates I think. I miss it. I feel so lazy, stiff and urgh at the moment. But as things have been rough, and as long as the bleeding stops, I think I'll aim to start again once I've passed 12 weeks. It feels like I'll be on safer ground then mentally 😂 x

MrsNT · 17/11/2021 22:18

@alhctps thats one funny yoga story.

MrsNT · 17/11/2021 22:22

@CurryandSnuggle yes to being hungry. I had a big breakfast yesterday..an hour later i was hungry.had early lunch.and then hungry again ..its probably the energy being used up making us hungry

jennixxx · 17/11/2021 22:24

@laurenGame throwing up makes me feel better for a moment but as soon as i go to eat something it just comes back!!! Im the opposite which is odd im not eating that much either but im putting weight on extremely fast! but i guess every body is different when going through so many different changes.

I cant stand the look of hardly any food but i know i need to eat atleast a little bit. What has been helping me is eating little but often :)

MrsNT · 17/11/2021 22:25

Btw i checked in with a local pilates class. Its not specifically for preg ladies only its a mixed class so she said they adjust the moves depending on you. However wont let me attend until after 12 weeks so will take a class for trial. Yoga on paper sounds good but its the "mystical" thing I cant connect to. I went to yoga once yrs ago and had to make a flower pose with hand and smell it. I was like whaaaaat 😂..

MrsNT · 17/11/2021 22:29

@Prema112 thats such a cute scan pic😍😍😍😍so happy for u

laurenGame · 17/11/2021 22:33

@beansprout55 I had very pink spotting straight after sex and was worried I've made it worse. But it went away. Also I've been in bed for 20 hours a day (wfh and feeling so sick), thinking maybe that's why I'm not seeing spotting.

Also expecting it to return any time. My next scan is next Thursday and I'll ask about Pilates, I feel stiff too and miss being in tune with my body, I feel like an old lady 👵🏻

laurenGame · 17/11/2021 23:58

Spoke too soon - went for a walk and came back to pink spotting 🙄😬

ALHCTPS · 18/11/2021 07:00

Urgh. Travelling home yesterday I noticed a missed call from the midwife (I’d had the initial blood pressure, urine and blood tests yesterday) and I panicked. My stomach dropped and my heart was beating a mile a minute that there was something disastrous. What if the blood test showed I had HIV (nigh on impossible unless my husband has had a personality transplant and has been cheating) or it showed I wasn’t pregnant or something. So many outlandish fears. Turned out they just wanted to check me for gestational diabetes, as there had been sugar in my urine, which I was half expecting as we’d discussed it (no surprise about the sugar as I’d been chugging cans of fizzy pop to help with nausea, so I highly doubt it’s anything more than that). But, oh, that feeling of panic. Shudder.

Prema112 · 18/11/2021 08:00

Ladies who have all day nausea- I have hope for you! I felt terrible with nausea weeks 7-11, but since 11.5 weeks I've noticed it's not all day anymore! I still have waves of feeling terrible but so nice that it's not all the time. Hang in there, it will get better!

pregnancydiaries · 18/11/2021 08:11

Eek @Prema112 I am praying for this!!!

@CurryandSnuggle and @beansprout55 good luck for today ♥️ Let us know how you get on xx

beansprout55 · 18/11/2021 08:12

Dying your hair - thoughts? I didn't think twice about it but a colleague mentioned it has its dangers, now I'm annoyed. NHS seems to think it's safer if done after 12 weeks. Hmmmmmmmmm

beansprout55 · 18/11/2021 08:12

Thanks @pregnancydiaries x I'll let you all know after 11. Pray all is ok! Bundle of nerves x

pregnancydiaries · 18/11/2021 08:13

@beansprout55 I’ve had mine done this week, and my hairdresser reassured me that she constantly has woman who are early pregnancy. I took from NHS website that it can only be bad if exposed to very high doses which is beyond what you would get from a routine hair dye…I am hoping so anyway!!!

HWka · 18/11/2021 08:41

@ALHCTPS omg I completely feel your pain! All I kept thinking after my booking appointment was “imagine if I have hiv!!” Didn’t help that I recently watched it’s a sin!! It’s been 3 and a half weeks and no call so I think I’m safe 🤞🏼🙈
