HG has reared up again today being sick every 20 minutes since 10am Sad

I am so utterly fed up of feeling like crap. If crying didn't make me retch I'd be in floods.

PleaseSendNoodles · 14/11/2021 20:11

Aahhh @PeeAche that’s lovely! So glad it went well. I’m 8+6 today so only a teensy bit ahead x

beansprout55 · 14/11/2021 20:15

Oh @DaimDillyDoo xx hugs xx have you seen your GP for something to help? I don't have HG but find eating ice cubes helps x

PurpleMoon12 · 14/11/2021 20:16

@PeeAche @3yearstrying
It does make me feel better knowing I'm not alone. Thanks ladies 💐

DaimDillyDoo · 14/11/2021 20:38

@beansprout55 Yes I've suffered with HG in previous pregnancies so have a course of meds and I can go to the hydration suite at EPU whenever. I just want to be home and comfortable Sad

11 weeks today, hopefully it starts to get better shortly!

CurryandSnuggle · 14/11/2021 20:42

Hope this brings some hope to people, I had relentless all day nausea for 5 weeks, it dipped to waves of nausea and now for the past 2 days I’ve barely had any at all! I’m 11+2

TinyTickler · 14/11/2021 21:03

Just catching up - congrats @PeeAche !

I'm in Gateshead - would prefer a little girl as I have a girl and essentially just want a duplicate version. Gut feeling is it's a boy as this pregnancy has been very different to my previous one.

PeeAche · 14/11/2021 21:12

I want a girl because my Nan was born in June and I want to name her after my Nan. My Nan's name is a variation on June. My Nan raised me and she's 91 now.

PlodandPod · 14/11/2021 21:26

@Brightsmoke I moved recently from north of the county near Yateley/Fleet to more south near Southampton now! So I wasn't too far but a bit further now 😂 Will you be going to RBH?

PlodandPod · 14/11/2021 21:29

I'm happy with either as long as they're healthy. Have a girl name but finding a boy name is proving to be a real struggle!

Is anyone else not wanting to find out the sex?

hudasalem · 14/11/2021 21:43

@PurpleMoon12 and @PeeAche I have the same problems with my emotions I suffer from clinical depression already and feel that pregnancy has really heightened it I cry at anything and get so anxious.

Ah not far at all! Potentially RBH this time, had my son in Basingstoke though. RBH has a fab newish midwife led suite that I'll be using if I don't have the home birth I'm debating

PlodandPod · 14/11/2021 22:13

@Brightsmoke Before I moved I would have been going to Frimley Park which is Surrey, and also where I was born! Now it will be Winchester or Southampton. I have family in the emergency services and have always heard good things about RBH 😊

jennixxx · 14/11/2021 22:18

Hey guys. I just got out of an extremely abusive relationship with the father of the baby that im carrying, im young and living on my own and not got very much family either. Does anyone have any advice on how to cope with feeling lonely during pregnancy?
Trying my hardest to keep myself occupied its just hard because i have little to none energy at the moment.
Thanks yo anyone who replies!😊

hudasalem · 14/11/2021 22:39

@jennixxx oh not that’s awful I’m so sorry for you. Do you have any friends near by any local antenatal groups you can join to get some support ?

jennixxx · 14/11/2021 23:17

@hu**@hudasalem yeah im startung to have a wee look into some classes. Smile

MrsNT · 14/11/2021 23:24

Is it common to have morning sickness at night time instead?

CurryandSnuggle · 14/11/2021 23:27

@jennixxx I am sorry to read this. I would recommend speaking to your midwife as she may know of local community groups, or contact your local children’s centre. Xxx

jennixxx · 14/11/2021 23:30

@CurryandSnuggle thank you😊xxx

CurryandSnuggle · 14/11/2021 23:30

Anyone planning shared parental leave? I’m finding the whole thing including how the pay works very confusing as I want to be on maternity leave while DH takes parental leave, at the same time as each other. Anyone understand how it works?

PlodandPod · 14/11/2021 23:45

@MrsNT

Before today mine had only ever been from 4pm ish onwards. Today I've felt sick all day!
hudasalem · 14/11/2021 23:52

@MrsNT yep I do

hudasalem · 14/11/2021 23:52

@MrsNT *i get it to in the evening

unknownscot · 15/11/2021 07:33

@PlodandPod we won't be finding out the sex, if I need to push in labour that'll help get me through I keep telling myself!

Prema112 · 15/11/2021 08:48

Morning everyone, I've had a horrible 12 hours. My spotting had stopped yesterday and I was feeling quite relaxed, then I went to the toilet and passed a clot bigger than a 50p Sad Then followed more bleeding and mild cramps. I'm walking into the dreaded EPU today and I'll just have to wait to be seen. If you pray, please pray for me, thank you
