@PeeAche Hope all goes well for you!

unknownscot · 14/11/2021 14:41

I'm Southside of Glasgow.

Happy with either but at this rate we aren't agreeing on any boys names 😂

Clomid1 · 14/11/2021 14:56

Thanks guys, it was a difficult experience but trying to forget about it and stay hopeful with this baby.

I’m in London. I would love a boy. I’ve had some very negative experiences as a child so as much as I would love a girl I don’t want them to ever have to experience the things I have. Basically decided men have it easier than us and I’d like life to be easier for my child. Selfish I know...

rathernotshare · 14/11/2021 15:02

I'm hoping for a girl as I'm the only daughter and I'm the only one that is still close to my mum. My husband also only has brothers and none of them really speak to their mum and I feel really sad for her as I know she'd love to speak more. I am planning on having more than one though so I'm happy either way with this being our first ☺️

Brightsmoke · 14/11/2021 15:21

@PlodandPod

I'm in Hampshire 😊
Which side? I'm more towards the Reading/Newbury side of Berkshire so might be close!
Brightsmoke · 14/11/2021 15:24

@Unarosaes

Does anyone have any preferences re boy or girl? I would like it to be a girl, just because I've known what I'd call her for years whereas we can't think of a boys name we really like (we've been discussing names even before we decided to ttc)
I want a girl. I wanted a girl as my first, but I have a perfect little boy. We didn't find out what we were having with my first, but we will do this time just to get my head around potentially 2 boys, though I won't be disappointed with another boy
jun2022 · 14/11/2021 15:47

I'm not fussed what I have as long as healthy, my partner would like a boy as he has 2 girls already and in my family it's all girls!

Is anyone struggling with really sore hips/back/groin area? Every time I go for a walk it's really painful and when turning over in bed etc? Googled it and all the symptoms for PGP is what's coming up, but it's so early I feel?

Re skin - my skin is a mess. I look like a spotty teenager again. Aren't all the vitamins supposed to help this Confused

Wellthiswasunexpected · 14/11/2021 15:57
@PeeAche all the best for your scan! It sounds like it will go well and you will be able to see your little bean. Can't wait to hear how it went! x

@wellthiswasunexpected wow! Moving at 8 months pregnant is very brave!! Where are you living now?
I am in Spain, lived in the UK for 10 years and came back a couple of years ago to settle and start a family. Not quite sure how I ended on this forum. I hope you all don't mind!
Ah so you did it the smart way haha.

In my case moving countries at 8 months is definitely not something I ever wanted! Basically I took a job abroad in May and moved my husband out here for it, signed up to a 12 month rental contract…fell pregnant completely unexpectedly in September (pretty sure the covid vaccine messed with my cycle). We’d planned to try from next summer back in the UK! So now have to complete this year of rent, stuck abroad without any friends or family 😭 and in a new job who will absolutely judge me for falling pregnant 4 months in….

Anyway! Hope you’ve got a good support network out there in Spain? And of course no one minds that you’re in this forum! All welcome here 😄

3yearstrying · 14/11/2021 15:59

@Pandamama88 you're not too far from me, im about 25 mins away from Ely

3yearstrying · 14/11/2021 16:04

@Wellthiswasunexpected gosh sounds like a whirlwind! Ive been trying for a couple years now and after a miscarriage i decided to not have the vaccine after the stories i heard about cycles until ive had a baby. I think after i will but i didnt want anything to hinder getting my positive.

@Unarosaes i am the same! Got a girl name, have for years but a boy i think i'll have to see their little face to decide

HWka · 14/11/2021 16:19

I don’t mind at all as long as it’s healthy. Does anyone have a real gut feeling? I can only really picture a boy in there!

jennixxx · 14/11/2021 16:27

@HWka im the same i have a gut feeling its a little boy !

Pandamama88 · 14/11/2021 16:31

@3yearstrying Ah cool, yeah I'm about 15 mins from Ely

Pandamama88 · 14/11/2021 16:35

I'm don't mind which I have as long as they are healthy. Like a lot of people on here I have a definite name which I like a lot for a girl which makes me want a girl slightly more. Although I had a very vivid dream of doing a weird pregnancy test which said it was a boy. I don't really have much faith in the predictive powers of dreams though lol.

PeeAche · 14/11/2021 16:57

"Good strong heartbeat" and "best possible location in the womb". No cysts, no multiples, just an amazing little baby. Measuring 8+2 which is exactly the same as my date according to LMP. I feel light headed!!! 😍

Unarosaes · 14/11/2021 17:07

Congrats! Really please for you Flowers on to the next Milestone!

@PeeAche YES!! Such lovely news, so happy for you!!

V1c6 · 14/11/2021 17:09

Fantastic news @PeeAche

PurpleMoon12 · 14/11/2021 17:33

How is everyone emotionally?

I spent about 6 hours crying today - only stopped when it made me throw up! I'm worrying about anything and everything apart from the pregnancy (which should be the main thing to be thinking about!)

Not enjoying these pregnancy hormones and worried I've damaged my baby from crying so much! 😭

Unarosaes · 14/11/2021 17:34

@Wellthiswasunexpected that sounds full on! I hope the move is not too stressful. We can't put our lives on hold or foresee what will happen.

hudasalem · 14/11/2021 17:39

@Unarosaes I don’t mind it’s my first so happy with whatever hubby is leaning towards a boy

hudasalem · 14/11/2021 17:40

hudasalem · 14/11/2021 17:42
