@alittlebitofsparkle35 the insomnia is real. Im hoping it settles soon! Im so evil when im tired

This pregnant has been totally different this time round for me! Bad skin, food aversion, craving savoury not sweet, constantly dehydrated. Trying not to get my hopes up for a pink one this time, everyone tells me 2 boys are the best combination 😂.

I'm in Berkshire, anyone else local?

I have 8 really close friends from my son from MN who are dotted around the country and I meet up with them at least twice annually and we speak everyday. Hoping to get something similar from you lovely lot with this baby too

@hudasalem - my in-laws are also Egyptian! Too early to be thinking about it yet, but we're hoping we can spend some of mat leave in Egypt so that the baby can start hearing/learning Arabic

I'm in the US, sadly nor at all local!!

I did get my first scan this week though at 8weeks. Everything looked good baby was measuring as they should and we heard the heartbeat. I cried like a baby 🙈

Worst symptoms is definitely the fatigue. By 6pm I could happily get in bed and sleep. But my issue is no matter when I fall asleep I wake up every day around 3am and usually can't get back to sleep!

I guess it's practice for baby but eughhh.

@amicrazy36 honestly just try lots of different drinks see what helps you the most! I find a little sugar hit of a full fat fizzy drink helps, i get the mini vans of coca cola as i hate full fat but it does work!

@hannahslife i was exactly the same! So so tired and asleep by 7pm every night. Im 10+4 and this last week has been a lot better, i hope it eases off for you soon!

@Brightsmoke honestly i feel your pain. I have all the same symptoms as you! And although a healthy baby is all i want i am also hoping a little girl! Time will tell if its true and they steal your beauty from the womb haha

Does anyone have any preferences re boy or girl? I would like it to be a girl, just because I've known what I'd call her for years whereas we can't think of a boys name we really like (we've been discussing names even before we decided to ttc)

I'd love a boy, only because DH wants that. His sister has 3 girls and his parents already seem uninterested in our pregnancy. Hoping it might sway them. Also, unusually DH is going to be a stay at home dad until baby is 9 months, then we switch!
