hudasalem · 13/11/2021 01:34

unknownscot · 13/11/2021 01:54

@rathernotshare
I've bought a pregnancy journal from writetomeshop.co.uk
But that's all.

Although I'm desperate to buy something now I've had a scan!

X

CurryandSnuggle · 13/11/2021 06:52

@rathernotshare I already know what buggy I’m getting 😂

CurryandSnuggle · 13/11/2021 06:53

Had such a fun night last night! Travelled to the in laws, my son was wearing a t-shirt of a big penguin and a baby penguin and it said “I’m going to be a big brother”. MIL cried with happiness and FIL was very pleased too. Smile

unknownscot · 13/11/2021 07:02

@CurryandSnuggle aaah that's so lovely 🥰🥰

Oooh what pram?

CurryandSnuggle · 13/11/2021 07:07

@unknownscot baby jogger city mini gt2 (it’s all-terrain which is important to me as I like my countryside walks), with carrycot and we’ll get a compatible car seat as well to make it a travel system.

unknownscot · 13/11/2021 07:14

@CurryandSnuggle ❤️ That's awesome you already know. I have no idea how you choose 😂

CurryandSnuggle · 13/11/2021 07:19

@unknownscot it depends what you’re after, I specifically searched for off road buggies and there’s only a select few on the market. Price was a factor for me, I can’t afford to be spending £800-1000 on a buggy to be honest. But if you think about what you want e.g easy-fold, or compact (if you have a small house/car) fold, or lightweight, or best travel system etc. Then you’ll find good review sites online.

pregnancydiaries · 13/11/2021 08:03

That’s so cute @CurryandSnuggle what a special night xxx

AmICrazy36 · 13/11/2021 08:15

Oh goodness gracious Iv missed so much 🤣🤣 haven’t been on mn for awhile and didn’t receive any notifications.

How are we all? Just marking my place!

I’m 11 weeks and boobs have stopped hurting… trying not to worry… anyone else having similar? X

beansprout55 · 13/11/2021 08:50

To all those who have had the spotting/bleeding that I've had which resulted in you getting early scans - can you please describe how much you had, what colour, length of time etc?

I thought after my scan on Thursday I'd be Ok as he said everything was fine and didn't know why I was spotting, and it was tailing off, but TMI, whilst straining to empty my bowel last night I had a gush of fresh blood. I'd only ever had pink and brown before. And yes, deffo didn't come from my bowels. So now I'm more worried than bloody ever.
I haven't had anymore... but it's only been 10 hours

I remember a few of you that have had it, @CurryandSnuggle, @Imhereforthecake @laurenGame

Prema112 · 13/11/2021 08:52

Hey ladies, I've been feeling sad and worried since yesterday. I started spotting again yesterday afternoon, heavier than before but still light. It's still going and I've got a bit of a backache. I think I was just starting to relax as I'm 11.5 weeks now and had a good scan a week ago but I can't help worrying again now. I know lots of ladies on here have had spotting and it's all been fine but it's just so unnerving... ladies that have spotting lots, did you carry on with normal life or rest more? Ive got a busy day today looking after other people's kids then I'll be on my feet for 3 hours for a fireworks display at my sons school. Wondering whether to cancel everything and hide in bed, but then I'll probs worry more. My 12 weeks scan is Wednesday so I've got a few days to wait. Why can't pregnancy be more straightforward Sad

Prema112 · 13/11/2021 08:54

Ahh @beansprout55 I'm sorry to hear that it's so worrying isn't it. My spotting is pink and red when I wipe, but I did have red bleeding at 5 weeks with little clots

Imhereforthecake · 13/11/2021 08:58

@beansprout55
I'm still spotting everyday. Sometimes brown sometimes red. I do notice that after I've opened my bowels it's definitely more red (still struggling with constipation!).
I'm sure it's probably where you've strained as it's stopped soon after. Thanks

HWka · 13/11/2021 09:20

@beansprout55 I had a scan on Wednesday last week because of pink brown and red spotting, then on Thursday night a massive gush of red blood and a clot so was scanned on Friday morning and still all fine. I’m wondering if the internal poking may dislodge a bleed?! Hope you’re ok remember it’s happening left right and centre on this thread!!

beansprout55 · 13/11/2021 09:25

Thanks God for you lot 💗 it's just scariest thing isn't it. I woke up DH at 1.30 shouting on the loo and made him come and look at the blood, a total melt down. I don't know how much more of this I can take? Emotional rollercoaster xxx

DaimDillyDoo · 13/11/2021 09:37

I had my pee sample done at my booking appointment and it came back with a urine infection... I didn't even know and normally I know straight away with those things

I keep crying and being niggly with OH I'm sure I'm doing his head in. I also keep feeling a weird pulling and tightening above my belly button!

Sickness is under control with metoclomoride and got it down to 5/6 times a day rather than an hour.

I hope everyone is well

@hudasalem crossing my fingers for you for Monday.

@beansprout55 bless you - can't you ring EPU? Sad

hudasalem · 13/11/2021 09:43

@beansprout55 try to ring EPU I hope everything is ok I know exactly how you feel you think it’s all ok then it comes back your on my prayers x

hudasalem · 13/11/2021 09:48

@beansprout55 mine started light pink on Wednesday went to slightly more red with the odd Tiny clot Thursday and then light pink Friday until after scan had a bit more red with tiny clots think the scan just irritates and today just a tiny tiny bit of pinkness. I hope your ok and can get a scan.

I’m just waiting for my proper full internal one by EPU Monday.

CurryandSnuggle · 13/11/2021 10:23

@beansprout55 I had spotting brown/pink, stopped for 2 weeks, then had gush of bright red blood on Sunday and there was a clot too. Was like a light period of red blood for w day, went down to red spotting, now it’s brown cervical mucous (sorry for TMI). I had scan and all was well, heartbeat was seen, no sign of bleeding, they’ve no idea what’s causing it/where it’s coming from but baby is fine! Hope this is the same for you but I know how worrying it is. See if you can get a scan at the EPU. Xxx

beansprout55 · 13/11/2021 10:53

Thanks guys. You're so helpful and amazing, I feel reassured by your experiences. DH thinks it's ok and I shouldn't call EPU as it was only 2 days ago I had a scan after telling them I had pink spotting and they said all was ok. Given its not a constant flow of blood do you think i should just leave it?

I've gone for two early scans because of pink spotting and my anxieties already in the space of 12 days 🙄 feel a bit embarrassed going back. what do you think??x

hudasalem · 13/11/2021 10:57

@beansprout55. If it eases your mind so you don’t stress go for a scan. EPU are understanding x

Clomid1 · 13/11/2021 11:14

To all those that started bleeding and are worried, I had a miscarriage earlier in the year. I wanted to add my experience in the hope it will give you some peace of mind.

I had really bad cramps so I went into the bathroom and started wiping fresh red blood. Within 20 minutes I was bleeding through pads and within the hour I had passed a massive clot (the length of my hand) and knew it was the sac. The pain was extremely intense (bear in mind due to PCOS I experience some very painful periods, I was literally shaking). I bled non stop for 8 days and all 8 days were super heavy and soaking through pads every 2 hours.

It finally stopped and I took a pregnancy test which was still positive but half the darkness of my previous tests. 1 week later I bled again this time not as much pain. I bled again for another week after which the pregnancy tests became negative.

So to summarise only be worried if you begin to flood pads and for some of you you’ll be in pain. Reading all your posts I don’t think you’re going through that so stay positive and calm ladies, you’ll all be fine. Go for your scans but don’t panic because I still think there is a lot of hope
