@Unarosaes I can definitely relate! Trying my best to keep working but some days are such a struggle. Mon/Tues this week were horrendous for me and I was being sick in the office toilet 🤢 I've told my boss which was a massive help as I'm working from home now on the days when I feel really ropey (and trying my best not to not feel too guilty if I need to stop work a bit earlier or take some time to rest!)

Also was reading everyone's comments about waking up in the night and that's defo me too! I've had weird vivid dreams throughout and seem to always wake up at 4am and it's such a struggle to get back to sleep 😴

Good luck to everyone with scans coming up 🤞 I had my booking appointment today with the midwife (I'm 8+6 according to my LMP) and waiting for my 12 week scan date to come through xx

I have HG and I have taken no time off whatsoever. I'm way too anxious about how my job will be held for me whilst I'm on mat, because my current programme actually ends at around the time I'll be taking off. So yeah, very focussed right now on being a totally dependable superwoman.
I want them to say "omg, how will we ever cope without PeeAche" not "oh well, she's been off 3 times this month anyway"

Unfair though because I'm puke city.

I'm not a fan of sweeping "if men had to" statements BUT...

If men had to deal with this shit, there'd be 24 months of maternity at full pay and you'd probably get a special Pregnancy Assistant to rub your back, feed you dry crackers and whisper "there there, I'll clean that up, you go and have a little lie down"

Anyone else having trouble brushing your teeth without puking? Is this why we get free dental 😂

@PurpleMoon12 I haven't properly brushed my teeth in three weeks because of the gagging and retching. Just awful!!!

Does anyone else feel equally anxious about buying and not buying stuff? Buying stuff so early feels cursed, however the thought of waiting to 25+ weeks seems like madness and not even time/money!

@rathernotshare im the exact same at the moment, i want to buy little bits and bobs but i also feel like its too early too! But then again waiting that amount of time to start buying things feels annoying aswell!

@jennixxx with it being our first there's just soooo much to buy! And I feel like I need to research everything like crazy as I have literally zero baby experience!

@CurryandSnuggle mine went really well thankyou!! Caught up abit and measuring at 7+5 now, lovely heartbeat is was definitely a relief! ❤️

@rathernotshare im the exact same! My first little one aswell and its so overwhelming with everything i need to buy, i feel like if i leave it too late inwont get everything i need!!

@rathernotshare I was going to buy antistretchmark cream a few days ago and decided to wait until my 12 week scan.... I would like to hold off buying anything for the baby until at least 6 months or so. I guess we'll see how it goes, but for now we haven't looked at anything yet (other than trying to prevent too many stretch marks )

@Imhereforthecake wasn’t able to do it was a private place. EPU appointment Monday 8:45 hopefully that scan is good

Off to cinema hubby’s idea to distract me hoping to don’t have to pee every 15mins 😂😂 anyone else suffer from frequent urination
