@beansprout55 I would definitely ring up for another scan. My EPU told me to ring every time there’s a bleed to come and be scanned. They said a woman bled throughout the whole 9 months and was getting scans every few days and she had a healthy baby boy in the end! They said they’d much rather see me than me be worrying xxx

Phoned EPAU and the staff nurse will talk to OB/GYN and call me back. In Jersey they don't really do TV scans on the weekends so I'd have to wait until Monday anyway!

Just managed to open my bowels after a couple of days, no red blood, but brown blood - which oddly hasn't scared me. Relieved it's not fresh! Is that weird??!?

With all these stories of cervical ectropion and a friable cervix that I read when googling (which seems to cause bleeding when using the loo/sex) I wonder why out of the 3 drs I've seen these past 2 weeks about this spotting/bleeding, none of them have looked at my cervix or mentioned these conditions.
I guess they know better than me and Google and have a reason for not.

@Clomid1 thanks for your post that is helpful to know, mine was a MMC so I didn't go through that, so sorry you did it sounds awful. My spotting is continuing and I've decided to just get on with life and have my scan on Wednesday unless it gets worse, I find EPU too traumatic

I am the same and I'm losing my mind some days. It's now been 12 days of non stop spotting. Just never ending blood on wiping, I called obstetrician on Friday but she told me to wait till Monday app. Colour goes from dark to pink to dark red. From one spot to 1/3 of the tissue.

My scan was ok but they did see bleeding on the scan so must be significant.

It's not getting easier seeing the blood as I'm getting so attached to my embryo, yet every time I go to the toilet there's a red reminder that I have threatened miscarriage 🥺

The whole bleeding started when (TMI) I strained too fast and too hard on the toilet (I was in a public one and wanted to get out quickly).

I just wish this bleeding would stop for even one day. I'm only 7 weeks and already had two scans and no answers for the bleed. I do rest more and don't walk for longer than 2 hours.

Im fed up of constantly worrying about bleeding. Im fed up of feeling exhausted 24/7 and feeling like im being so lazy.
Im fed up of feeling bloated.
Im fed up of feeling sick and eating constantly to stop the nausea.
I'm fed up of being fed up.
Don't get me wrong I feel so so grateful to be pregnant and I know I'm so lucky. I just want to get these first 12 weeks out the way safely

@laurenGame is your spotting always red?

My first scan 12 days ago they saw the bleed (by the placenta) but 2 days ago he saw no evidence of bleeding.

Has anyone's cervix been checked for what I mentioned below??

Did they not have any idea why you're bleeding? No comforting assurance? Mine didn't xx

@Imhereforthecake. Totally agree with all you said feel the same exact same plus extreme headaches 😔

For those struggling with constipation, eating sh** loads of fruit really softens the stools, as well as drinking loads of water. Warm glass of lemon water (the warmer the better) first thing in the morning really good for getting things moving

@laurenGame waiting for full TV scan on Monday at EPU Fridays at private was inconclusive couldn’t do TV and because my uterus is tilted (towards spin) can’t see anything abdominal this early. Try to watch as Much cheesy stuff on Netflix as I can to pass my time

@beansprout55 no explanation given here either.
I've app booked with a private obstetrician on Monday and I'll be quite firm that I need some answers or advice, otherwise I might as well go public. I haven't been advised anything.

The 11 day bleed goes dark then red again (just as I start getting hopeful). I don't want to go to the toilet anymore.

So sorry to all those with bleeding, we all know from the experiences of this group alone that it usually doesn't mean the worst is happening, but I imagine when it's happening it's hard not to worry 💐

Has everyone got 12 week scan dates now? Feeling quite antsy I don't have a date and I'm over 10 weeks now

@laurenGame I'm so sorry for your constant bleeding. If it makes you feel any better they also saw bleeding in my uterus at 8 weeks and it was gone at 10 weeks so I guess it had been reabsorbed. So who knows if this new bleeding is from my uterus or cervix 🤷‍♀️ I hope your bleeding stops soon. I will try to rest more too x

@hudasalem Yes, I've had bad headaches. They were particularly annoying around weeks 4 - 6. I would wake up with a headache, have a mild headache for most of the day and then it would get worse from about 4pm. I was also really tired - fell asleep in a lecture at work one afternoon - and would be totally wiped out by the evening.

I'm 9 weeks now and the headaches are much better!

@InvisibleDragon same I had to take time of work because I just wasn’t for to work was wiped out and would pass out in bed. I’m only 7 and still getting them I’m hopeful they go

Has anyone else experienced a burning sensation in their stomach? I know heart burn is common in pregnancy but I’m not getting this in my chest or throat, just the past few days feels like my stomach is on fire!

@Vimto1991 yes was told it just indigestion as the hormones released affect the digestive system

@laurenGame I’m not when it happens! But it seems to be dying down a bit (touch wood!) and when I had both my scans everything looked ok so I’m just trying to be hopeful! I think we’re nearing the end of this trimester so hopefully we will all feel calmer in the second one xxx

Hi everyone, hope every one is keeping as well as they can!
Has anyone else had AWFUL skin whilst pregnant? Im currently 10+4 and no matter what it wont clear up. It hasnt been this bad since i was a teenager! Really getting me down and i know its hormones but i want it to clear up soon! Thanks x
