Theawkwardblonde · 31/10/2021 21:52

@Lindzers83 my pelvis feels like this and I'm nearly 32 weeks. Got me paranoid I have a big baby cooking in there!

MrsGxx · 31/10/2021 22:39

Does anybody suffer with stomach cramps a lot? I’ve been having them all the way through but recently it’s been everyday/night I can be up. Hot sweats, feel sick. I have mentioned it to midwife etc but she doesn’t seem fussed. I do have IBS.

I’m so fed up this time my teeth seem to be in bad condition & hurt 😢, I feel nauseated every night and generally fed up.

Lindzers83 · 01/11/2021 06:09

I was worried in case I'd released the relaxin hormone too early. I was so surprised to find out the coccyx bone lifts up during labor!!

Room4onemore · 01/11/2021 09:35

Hi everyone, I ended up in triage last night 🤦‍♀️ Had a slip down a muddy hill yesterday morning and got told to go in and be checked. Monitor was fine but they said I need a scan ASAP to check the placenta and water are ok and I haven’t damaged them in the fall. Gave me a stark reality check that I need shift my ass getting the last baby things and packing my bags just incase

Sparklestars86 · 01/11/2021 14:17

@Room4onemore oh no! Go steady. Hopefully monitoring being fine then scan should be too. Hope no lasting bumps or bruises for you either. Definitely need to get myself sorted as well- just goes to show we are getting closer and something unexpected can happen to any of us! Xx

Sparklestars86 · 01/11/2021 14:40

@Lindzers83 mine has been like it for ages- since about 18 weeks I think so I think can happen at any time really. Xx

NightDreaming · 01/11/2021 21:50

@Room4onemore oh no! How are you feeling tonight? Do you know when the scan will be? x

Room4onemore · 01/11/2021 22:57

No not yet they haven’t called me, I’m hoping they call soon. She’s been very active today

AnonymousXXIX · 03/11/2021 19:48

32 weeks - the baby is kicking really hard now and it hurts Sad Anyone else not sure how to feel about this? I'm so sore..

2020mission · 03/11/2021 22:23

@AnonymousXXIX it can be quite uncomfortable can't it? I'm at 32 weeks too. Gently rubbing where he's kicking and pushing usually gets him to move and stop at least 😅

NightDreaming · 06/11/2021 13:53

ITCHY BOOBS.

That is all.

NightDreaming · 06/11/2021 13:54

(Its actually really painful and getting me down).

CelloYouveGotABass · 06/11/2021 14:03

@MrsGxx yes! I’m on iron tablets so put some of it down to that - sometimes I think it might be braxton hicks.

@NightDreaming is anything relieving it? I’ve more or less given up bras because nothing is comfortable!

NightDreaming · 06/11/2021 14:14

Not hugely. Using lots of bio oil. Which I guess does take the edge off. But only if I’m at home or somewhere where I can apply it.

MrsGxx · 06/11/2021 15:38

Has anybody experienced palpitations? Or breathing heavy when asleep? It’s really getting to me now! Had bloods done at 28 weeks, and nobody’s mentioned anything about anemia 😬

Theawkwardblonde · 06/11/2021 18:39

@NightDreaming second the itchy boobs!!

Had my scan due to the midwife measuring my belly small. No issues at all, baby is measuring on the 50th percentile, but legs are on the 92nd 😂. Both my partner and I are tall so that was to be expected.
Booked in to see consultant 4 weeks before DD as my bmi has gone up a bit. I haven't put on loads of weight but they want to get me checked as midwife still reckons I'm measuring small 🤦🏼‍♀️ baby estimated to be a healthy 4 pounds 6 so I don't really see the fuss is about.

Lindzers83 · 07/11/2021 05:30

@NightDreaming honestly my boobs are driving me insane. I've never had any and now they are so big I don't know what to do with them. Every time I find a comfortable bra I grow out of it in weeks. Have you tried e45 itch cream?

Had my baby shower yesterday and my friends did an incredible job. I did get given 8 sleep bags and wondered if you ladies thought I would use them all FTM. I hate waste and 8 seems excessive. We are also going to try to swaddle so will only have 4 months to use them as they are all 0-6m. X

CityGirl182 · 08/11/2021 04:31

@Lindzers83 that's so lovely of them! I'd see if any of the sleeping bags have tags on them still and exchange half at the shop for 6-12 months. Third baby here, and we've managed with three sleeping bags on rotation, and we don't have a tumble dryer so need time to dry stuff...
Baby vests and gros on the other hand, feel like we have hundreds of them! Grin

AnonymousXXIX · 08/11/2021 06:42

I currently have 0 sleeping bags. Was hoping for some in the sales but getting nervous now that's leaving it too late!

Em39ma · 08/11/2021 07:39

@AnonymousXXIX I use to work for a neonatal consultant and she told me to never use sacks under 3 months, especially the ones where there arms are inside. I just swaddle and lay blankets over for as long as possible and then swap to sacks. She said she seen too many babies disappear inside them and end up with there face covered.
Sorry don’t want scare anyone, just wanted to let you know.

AnonymousXXIX · 08/11/2021 07:52

@Em39ma that's good to know actually : ) because sleeping bags look expensive! And I do have 1 muslin swaddle so far. Will focus on getting a couple more of those.

I guess I was just worried it may not be warm enough for a winter baby? But I guess as long as we regulate the temperature at home well enough, which we should be doing either way, it should be fine?

Em39ma · 08/11/2021 08:25

Yes, we made sure we kept our room to 18-20 degrees and used the light weight swaddles.

Hi everyone due dates getting closer 😁 35+3 here, scan next Tuesday to see if baby is still breach

Sparklestars86 · 09/11/2021 13:13

35 today for me. Baby been head down for last few appts- but I know they can still move around quite a bit at this stage so, knowing my luck, it will flip the other way just at the wrong time!
Don't know if it's just because it is coming to the end but I'm quite enjoying this point of pregnancy- definitely helps that I'm working from home I guess! But think I'll miss the bump and the closeness once they're on the outside! Xx

CityGirl182 · 10/11/2021 05:53

Anyone packed their hospital bag yet?! Had 36 week growth scan (all looking good) and they were asking me about my birth plan Grin I don't have one, go with the flow... But should probably start packing a bag now...
