Anyone else got a + tests lately I got mine yesterday and then another today. Got a few more test to doing over the next week to see if they get darker.

Hope to have some more July ladies join me there is a few of us on the June thread and Facebook group already I'll try to tag you ladies Xxx

Anyone else not heard from the midwife yet? I'm 6+2 spoke to the GP two weeks ago and they said they would refer me but I've still not heard anything? Just a bit concerned as the NHS website says I should have an appointment at 8 weeks.

annie1994 · 16/11/2021 13:15

@crazyhairbear I think you’re meant to have had your booking appointment between 8 and 10 weeks. So maybe give them a few more days and then call up? It’s different for each hospital trust. I think you need to have had your bloods etc by 10 weeks and especially before your 12 week scan x

Cruz86 · 16/11/2021 13:43

Thank you all. I've got to go back in 10 days for a follow up because it's just not possible to say at this stage whether it's viable or not. I'm really praying for a miracle and willing this baby to grow healthy and strong 😞

Nicola1201 · 16/11/2021 13:54

Whilst the bloods should be before 12 weeks at height of pandemic, June 2020 they did scan and bloods at same time at 12 weeks, so i wouldnt worry if you dont get them til the scan.
As you can tell im only having a short break between pregnancies with my dd being 9months old when we conceived this one!

Gabs234 · 16/11/2021 14:46

@crazyhairbear I would give them a call to find out - most say 10 working days. I spoke to a midwife earlier (after a self referral) and she said I should hear back within that period. Although I'm travelling from Dec - and they seem very happy to let my first appointment + bloods be at 12 weeks when I'm back if the timing doesn't work out now (which doesn't feel right to me at all) Hmm

Gabs234 · 16/11/2021 14:48

Ah @Cruz86 so sorry to hear that, must be incredibly tough to just wait in limbo Sad I'll be rooting for you over the next few weeks

sle0911 · 16/11/2021 17:30

Hi all, just had a mammoth catch up, hope everyone is well. I'm 6+4 today and my midwife has arranged my first appt for 30th Nov so exactly 2 weeks time 🎉 time is going soooo slow!

@Cruz86 sorry to hear you are in limbo, really hope you have some answers soon 🤞🏼

Cruz86 · 16/11/2021 17:37

Thank you everyone ❤️

For those of you who have had early scans already, what CRL length have you been given and at what gestation? I really don't want to start obsessing over it but would love to know for info.

CaptainCarp · 16/11/2021 18:10

Hi all thank you for the well wishes.
Sorry I didn't update earlier as I had to go straight back to work.

It was good news for me. Had to have a transvaginal scan but saw the heartbeat & they printed me a picture as well which I thought was really nice. They dated me at 6+6 which was a bit of a surprise.

@Cruz86 sorry to hear you are still in limbo I am really hoping your dates are out & baby is has grown in 10 days.

Cruz86 · 16/11/2021 18:11

Oh that's amazing news @CaptainCarp. Really glad you have a positive outcome! ❤️

JJ1992 · 16/11/2021 19:08

@CaptainCarp this is lovely news congratulations 👍😊

Ive been thinking a lot about early scans, not sure what to do really. Its useful to know all is okay but it seems its caused a lot of stress for a few of you guys on here. Did the midwives say anything about it are your booking appts? I booked an early scan for 6.5 weeks, but im worried it may cause more stress than reassurance! Im also a nurse so it feels very strange trusting something that isnt the NHS 😕😕

AppleTree16 · 16/11/2021 19:14

This is such good news. So pleased for you.

We’re waiting until week 8/9 for this reason. Don’t want to get hopes up this early. I think private scans are fine - we’re very much NHS lovers in this house but use things like private physios etc. I’m still waiting to hear from my midwife team - self-referred last week but nothing yet.

JJ1992 · 16/11/2021 19:20

@AppleTree16 this makes sense! I probably wouldve tried to wait a bit longer, i decided to book because that will be the week i need to tell my parents (before they figure it out themselves 😂) but now im worried ill actually be too upset to even see them! I guess will just think it over for a bit, still got two weeks to decide.
