Anyone else got a + tests lately I got mine yesterday and then another today. Got a few more test to doing over the next week to see if they get darker.

Hope to have some more July ladies join me there is a few of us on the June thread and Facebook group already I'll try to tag you ladies Xxx

@HotToddyColdSauvignon good luck today!

@ChrissyAero we told family and close friends. I had a stillbirth and mc this year and telling people didn't feel the same at all. I was reluctant to tell anyone at the start but figured that I'd rather have my support network to rely on regardless of what happened. I think do what feels good for you! Just remember that there's absolutely no evidence or reason that it would happen again and that the odds are in our favour! Easier said than done for sure, but it's been helping me get through the moments when I feel anxious x

feliznavidad2 · 14/11/2021 11:55

Lots of luck @HotToddyColdSauvignon x

Nursemommy · 14/11/2021 12:05

Hey all sorry I haven't been very active on this thread I have been at work and when not at work have been feeling so unwell.

I have been in hospital with hyperemesis gravidarum the past couple of days (got discharged last night) for dehydration.

Anyone else suffer with HG? My work have been great at not expecting me back to work yet but has anyone got any advice for going back to work with it? My sickness is settled with the 2 anti sickness I'm taking and im managing to keep down some food now but the nausea is still constant and I'm dizzy and weak still and just wondering how ill cope with 12 hour shifts in ICU (im a nurse) whilst feeling like this.

Hope everyone's okay ive missed so many posts xx

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 14/11/2021 12:12

Thanks everyone. En route! Fingers crossed

RosieLeeD · 14/11/2021 13:03

Many thanks @Elsols93. It's all a little surreal by hoping for the best. I hope all is going well with your pregnancy so far x

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 14/11/2021 13:20

It went well - exactly 7 weeks today, and we saw a heartbeat. Kind of feels “real” now !

feliznavidad2 · 14/11/2021 13:24

Lovely news @HotToddyColdSauvignon congratulations!

OhGloriousDay · 14/11/2021 14:17

Hello, can I join? I’ve just had a +ve 20 minutes ago and want to tell someone, OH isn’t home

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 14/11/2021 14:54

Congratulations @OhGloriousDay!!!

Cruz86 · 14/11/2021 15:22

Sorry to hear you're suffering with HG @Nursemommy 😞 I have no experience with it I'm afraid but I really hope it eases off for you sooner rather than later.

Yay, great news @HotToddyColdSauvignon!! I'm starting to worry about mine tomorrow morning now 😩

missv556 · 14/11/2021 16:00

Just had a very unexpected call from the midwife for my booking appointment. I was told my phone call would be the 17th but that is my face to face so she did the phone stuff today. Going by my last menstrual period they think I'm 6+6. But I don't think that's right lol I was tracking ovulation and it says I ovulated 23 October which would make me 5+1

PleaseSendNoodles · 14/11/2021 16:09

Okay. I’m now really confused. I just checked and my prenatal vitamin has vitamin A in it?! Surely if it’s bad they wouldn’t include it?! A bit worried now…

PleaseSendNoodles · 14/11/2021 16:11

Oh and congrats to all the new BFPs! So exciting.

Im actually an imposter as due June 20th but the June group was already MASSIVE when I found out so I’m hanging out here, too.

camvt · 14/11/2021 16:14

@PleaseSendNoodles if the vitamin A is in betacarotene format it should be OK. What brand are you taking?

PleaseSendNoodles · 14/11/2021 16:20

@camvt just a supermarket own brand. Wondering if the guidelines are different in the country I live in… thanks for the help!

@PleaseSendNoodles on the website here the ingredients list betacarotene so that's probably their source of vitamin A. www.kroger.com/p/kroger-one-per-day-prenatal-multi-with-omega-3-softgels/0004126036757

I had the same worry with my prenatal vitamins, but from what I understood betacarotene only turns into vit A as necessary in the body, so it's safe as your body wouldn't convert more than it needs. My midwife also said it was fine but of course check with your doctor /midwife if you're worried about it.

Toriar12 · 14/11/2021 17:23

👋 1st baby here and looking at times I'm due in July although won't know until my scan in January. Been having some mild cramps but that's about it.

Still trying to get my head around it as I thought it would take longer fir me to get pregnant as I'm 40 but first attempt and I'm pregnant!!!

Toriar12 · 14/11/2021 17:27

Hey I don't feel like I have any real symptoms. No sickness or fatigue, my boobs are bigger but they aren't sore.

PleaseSendNoodles · 14/11/2021 17:29

Oh fab. Thanks @camvt - very kind of you to check for me! There are so many things to consider, aren’t there?

Welcome, @Toriar12 ! Congrats.

jasmine88woo · 14/11/2021 20:39

6W2D today (first pregnancy) and have developed a dull, burning ache in my lower abdomen, worse on right hand side. Out of nowhere. No cramps, pains or aches at all up until now. It's been there most of the day.
We were in Liverpool Xmas markets yesterday and did over 25k steps. I wonder if I walked too much or if there's something more to worry about.
I know a lot of people experience some sort of ache or cramp in early pregnancy but I still can't help but worry as this is the first I've felt.

Do you think I have anything to worry about? Confused

camvt · 14/11/2021 21:02

Congrats @Toriar12!

@PleaseSendNoodles no worries! It just so happens that I had the same worry when I saw it on mine too

@jasmine88woo it's usually normal to experience some aches and pains, but if you're worried maybe speak to your EPU or 111 is usually good for these things too. I was at the Xmas markets yesterday too! We might have crossed paths 😊

Jay185 · 14/11/2021 21:32

Me too I’m due July 11th-13th xx

Cruz86 · 14/11/2021 22:46

@jasmine88woo cramps and aches are very normal, especially after the amount of steps you did! But, because it's one sided pain, I'd say it's always best to get it checked out.

Has anyone else struggled with catching their breath? It's been difficult for me for the last few days and I'm starting to stress myself out with it now!!

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 15/11/2021 06:08

Congratulations @Jay185!

Glittergirl2 · 15/11/2021 07:17

Ladies, any tips on dealing with sickness? I feel horrendous and my head has been banging since Friday. I have a 22 month old little boy but didn’t have any symptoms at all with that pregnancy x
