@Elsols93 oh I've had those meds before for severe sickness and they're really good. You'll feel like a different person!

My sickness is not severe yet and Granny Smith apples are my go to when I feel sick. The sourness in them just sorts me right out.

Elsols93 · 13/11/2021 13:21

Well now I’m scared to take them! Read some reviews that through me off and can make you drowsy ? I can’t be drowsy with a toddler so maybe il take before bed which is when I get really nauseous .... only just been able to eat my go to right now is original lucozade xxx

RosieLeeD · 13/11/2021 14:18

@Tinypeanut1224 I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. This is my first post - I've been lying low as I've also had reoccurring losses. I just wanted to recommend Dr Shehata at the CRP Clinic in Epsom. He did extensive testing for why I was miscarrying and found I had over active immune cells. I am currently on immunosuppression and now 7 weeks pregnant, the furthest we have ever got. I had testing after 2 miscarriages at my IVF clinic but nothing was found. Dr S works with women going through IVF or conceiving naturally. Just felt compelled to share as I was feeling at a complete loss after my third loss and it was another lady that recommended Dr S to me. Keep strong and all the best for the future xx

Hi to everyone else! I'm due on 2nd July, I've already had some early scans and unfortunately I have a large haemotoma and have been told the next two weeks are critical but trying to keep positive. I hope everyone is doing ok 💕

Stoplickingthegluestick · 13/11/2021 14:31

Hi everyone,

Can I join? Just got my Bfp today and my app says due 19th July! First baby & pregnancy so very excited and nervous!

Anon120 · 13/11/2021 15:03

Hi all! This is actually my second but it's been a while and I can't actually remember any of the midwife / hospital protocol 🙈 how do we register for midwives etc?!

Ps sorry if it's already been asked in this thread

Elsols93 · 13/11/2021 15:19

Congratulations @Stoplickingthegluestick & @Anon120 - you either contact your gp for a referral or you have to self refer on your selected hospital maternity page ❤️ also congratulations @RosieLeeD really happy you got your answers finally and you are at a stage you haven’t been before amazing and good luck fingers crossed for you xxxx

Glittergirl2 · 13/11/2021 18:23

Hi everyone, congratulations on your pregnancies. I’ve had my shock BFP today, my periods have been a bit all over the place since having the covid vaccine so I think I’m due around the 24th July x

Trinxsy · 13/11/2021 18:48

Congrats to all the new joiners!
I'm the same @Rainbow123456789 , I carry most of my weight on my stomach although can hide it well. Even if my trousers are loose and comfy, as they have been lately, they're been rubbing something awful around my belly button area and it's making the skin really sore :( I never had this with DS although I was about 3 stone lighter...

feliznavidad2 · 13/11/2021 19:31

Same @Trinxsy - I wore a bloody maternity bra today as my boobs hurt and I didn't want wires 🤫 also living in leggings. I'm fine in the morning but as soon as I eat, I bloat like a goldfish.

F0XYL0XY · 13/11/2021 19:33

Hello! Congratulations to everyone with their BFP's and crossing my fingers for everyone. I think I'm due around the 9th July although my cycles are all over the place and tend to be really short so I'm not entirely sure! I have a son who's 8 and I'm 38, nearly 39 so wasn't sure this was going to happen! I remember finding my Mumsnet group so supportive first time round and you guys all seem lovely too Smile.

Lostintranslatio · 13/11/2021 20:55

Welcome to all the new joiners!!!

Anyone else frustrated with the sickness and exhaustion? I wake up fine but as soon as I eat anything, it does not matter what it is, my stomach gets all upset and nauseous. And then the tiredness: I feel like I'm dragging myself through the day. I have been lying on the couch since lunch time🤦‍♀️
Sorry for the rant, feeling pretty fed up today.

al1n · 13/11/2021 21:04

@poopatroop I'm in a group if you wanna pm me

missv556 · 13/11/2021 23:05

I went out for dinner earlier and on the drive back one of the roads had speed bumps all the way down. It was soooo painful for my boobs! I had to hold them down for some relief.

Trinxsy · 14/11/2021 00:49

Just booked a 9 week ultrasound for 2nd December! I'm really nervous but with the way I have all these symptoms...I had my MC around this time but I also had no symptoms (which can also be normal! Had none with DS) so I'm keeping positive and counting down the days!

purpleskyssssss · 14/11/2021 05:45

Hello ladies I have been a lurker over the last few weeks but not joined.

I am 6 weeks and 3days today and have my first scan booked in for the second of December. This will be my first pregnancy, but I do feel me googling a lot and having a lot of anxieties so May book in for an even earlier scan?

Does anyone on this thread not have many symptoms at all - because I feel fairly normal, which I no I should be thankful for but also difficult when I want to feel pregnant.

I am more tired then usual, my breast feel fuller a little, bit but don't hurt at all. I just wonder if this is normal in early pregnancy?

laurenGame · 14/11/2021 07:33

@purpleskyssssss hello 👋🏻 I remember you from ttc thread 😃 think we started ttc around the same time, feb? I'm almost 7 weeks.

My boobs don't hurt anymore, just slightly fuller.
Symptom wise I have just gone off some foods and that's it 😀

HopefulBeth · 14/11/2021 08:10

Hi, I'm joining you too! Due early July (around 6th I think) with our first baby after TTC for over a year. So far I've had sore boobs and food aversions and been completely exhausted most days...just hoping everything's going well in there Smile look forward to chatting with you all in the months to come Grin

Cruz86 · 14/11/2021 08:26

Wow, I've missed so many messages!!

Welcome to everyone who's joined over the past couple of days 🙂

Coffee, I would have 1 a day if I fancied it. But I seem to only want Starbucks coffee at the moment so it's a few times a week.

On the subject of next to me cribs, I had the Chicco one with my first and it didn't feel/look very robust so I'm thinking of a smaller wooden one this time round. Anyone with little ones used a Snuzpod or Shnuggle before?

@Effram @laurenGame @Elsols93 my due date is technically 1st July but I think it'll be moved to around the 5th because of late ovulation! I'm also only used to be last of the month so it'll be exciting when it comes round to birthing announcements!!

I also co-slept @Effram because my son would wake up every hour most nights! There was no way I was getting out of bed to feed 😂 so glad your scan went well.

I've got an early one tomorrow and then my midwife appointment on Wednesday so it's a busy week this week!

@Rainbow123456789 im not classed as overweight but I'm still completely struggling with waistbands and anything other than tights or leggings to be honest! I would definitely size up if it's more comfortable. So normal at this stage 🙂

Hi @purpleskyssssss! I had nausea but that seems to have eased off now which is good. Just feel a bit sicky if I don't eat little and often and have to really fancy something to eat. Boobs do hurt, especially when my 4 year old digs his elbow into them 🤦🏼‍♀️ but apart from that, I feel okay! I'm sure my husband will say differently with my mood though 😂

camvt · 14/11/2021 09:20

@purpleskyssssss Not many symptoms here either! Only thing I can really notice is tiredness throughout the whole day and waking up very early regardless of what time I go to bed.

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 14/11/2021 09:34

Having a little panic. Got an early scan booked today, but as I’m not sure if I’m 6 weeks (or as I think I am, 7weeks today) or maybe even 5 weeks….
Getting worried that nothing will be seen

3 hours to go

Just… waiting

JNGO21 · 14/11/2021 10:33

Hello!
Can this hive mind help me with pregnancy supplements please?!
I’ve bought some Iron with vitamins and minerals from holland and Barrett but keep reading different things about what’s safe. Has anyone had any advice from their midwife or GP yet? My iron is naturally low so wanted to give it a boost but doubting whether these are correct now.
I’ve been taking daily folic acid since I found out I was pregnant. I’m about 6 weeks now.

Thanks!

Due July 2022
Cruz86 · 14/11/2021 10:36

Good luck @HotToddyColdSauvignon!! Not too much longer to wait...

@JNGO21 I think they look okay, as long as there's no vitamin A!

ChrissyAero · 14/11/2021 10:43

Good luck with your scan! @HotToddyColdSauvignon

I'm meeting my mum for shopping and lunch today. We usually have cocktails too so she's going to be suspicious - idk whether to just tell her 🤷🏻‍♀️ has anyone else told their parents this early?

The last time I did it ended up in mc so I'm wary.

al1n · 14/11/2021 10:44

@JNGO21 midwife will recommend pregnancy specific vitamins probably like pregnacare, think there are some own brand versions

purpleskyssssss · 14/11/2021 10:54

Thankyou ladies for the re-assurance.

@laurenGame hello! How are you doing! Yep I think I started on the MN thread in feb time after trying since last Oct. I think have ttc for a while it makes you more aware of what to look out for when pregnant haha!

@Cruz86 yes little and often I'm having to do the same! If I come to think about it I did go mad at my OH for blowing out a candle while I was in the bath 🤣

Thanks @camvt that's very re-assuring, I have been waking up at 4-5am every day tbf but I just put that down to my mind going over time! But having a google looks like that can also be a symptom!

@ChrissyAero we have told both sets of parents this weekend, was too difficult to keep in, plus with my no drinking it's very suspicious my OH parents had an idea because last weekend I didn't have a drink! I'm glad we have told them but will now wait until Xmas to tell everyone else 😀
