Anyone else got a + tests lately I got mine yesterday and then another today. Got a few more test to doing over the next week to see if they get darker.

Hope to have some more July ladies join me there is a few of us on the June thread and Facebook group already I'll try to tag you ladies Xxx

Yes, 12 weeks will be around the 17th December @laurenGame! How exciting. We're not telling anyone til as far as we can get away with though 😂 I've bought loads of baggy jumpers/dresses for the winter period to cover up x

Nursemommy · 24/10/2021 21:37

Just found out I am pregnant! And due July 2022. So excited!! Been trying since April, cannot wait ❤️❤️❤️

laurenGame · 24/10/2021 21:53

Congrats @Nursemommy !!'welcome Grin I've been trying since feb so I know the feeling ahah. How are you feeling?

Cruz86 · 24/10/2021 21:58

Ahh congratulations @Nursemommy and welcome!! How exciting ☺️

laurenGame · 24/10/2021 21:59

Oh yes @Cruz86 my 12 week is due 17-18 dec too, forgot that we're due date twins! I'm in Australia so my will be born in the middle of winter 😄 which I don't mind as it's 33 degrees here now and it's only spring - cannot imagine being fully pregnant in hot summer 🙈

i123i · 24/10/2021 21:59

@laurenGame and @Cruz86 - yes me too, would be 12 weeks the week before Christmas. Planning on telling my close family on Christmas Day hopefully, after I’ve had the 12w scan 🙏🏻 Such lovely timing.

i123i · 24/10/2021 22:01

@Nursemommy - welcome! Very exciting indeed!!

Rainbowbabs · 24/10/2021 22:02

Hi there I have tested positive with a faint line today, think I ovulated about 8 days ago. First one was a faint line and second a bit fainter a few hrs later. How long do you think I should wait till I test again

Nursemommy · 24/10/2021 22:39

@laurenGame

Congrats *@Nursemommy* !!'welcome Grin I've been trying since feb so I know the feeling ahah. How are you feeling?
Thank you so much!! Crampy and very bloated! Kinda nauseous too! Tested purely cos I was feeling really sick after drinking hot chocolate on the tube home from work and I thought wait that's not right 🤣 But overall, very very excited! Can't quite believe it 🤰🏻 How are you feeling? Xx
Nursemommy · 24/10/2021 22:51

When are you guys thinking of telling people? I'm a PICU nurse so I have to tell my work when I go back from annual leave, but want to wait until its a bit further to tell others but when do you tell your parents/siblings?

Yayay30 · 24/10/2021 23:23

So this happened today at 10dpo. Delighted, excited and can’t stop crying!

Should be due around 10 July!

Super sore boobs and chronic headache are the only symptoms right now!

Due July 2022
laurenGame · 24/10/2021 23:43

@Nursemommy haha I tested because my bank card didn't work when I was placing online food order- and I burst into tears 🤣
I don't usually cry (esp not at putting in incorrect bank details) so that's when I realised something is suss

@Yayay30 welcome from the ttc thread! Graduating from TTC into pregnancy thread feels better than my uni graduation!

laurenGame · 24/10/2021 23:56

@Nursemommy I will tell my family and close friends at around 8-9 weeks I think. It's when I'll have a Scan and a heartbeat, with ectopic ruled out hopefully.

My close friends all shared with me from 1-8 weeks; we definitely want to share everything with each other.

I'm also doing nursing placement at March when I'll be 5 months. Dreading it as I'll be on my feet al day 🙈 but crossing that bridge when I come to it. How do you nurses work till late pregnancies? Superheroes haha x

Nursemommy · 25/10/2021 00:36

@laurenGame

Ah that sounds like a good plan. I think we will wait till week 5/6 to tell parents, I don't think we will be able to hold it in for longer then that!

Oooh I honestly have no idea, this is my first baby, so guess I'll find out! I start a 6 month course at uni next month too so nervous haha! Good luck with your nursing placement, what year are you in? Xx

Effram · 25/10/2021 06:23

Hi! Joining although feels so early 🙏 not entirely sure of EDD, I think I ovulated a bit late but not as late as natural cycles seems to think so dates are 29th June from LMP to 5th July by app date... I reckon maybe 2nd (also that would be a good date because 2.7.22 lots of pleasing 2s!). However this will be my no3 and my first was a month early and my second two weeks late so... Who knows!

Anyway I am starting to get over the terror and am v excited. I thought I'd give it to Wednesday then do my maternity referral as then I'll be 4+1 by the latest date!

Definitely feeling a bit sickier than previous pregnancies. I had a bit of background nausea last time but this has been from earlier and more constant. Trying to see it as reassuring rather than 🤢

Elsols93 · 25/10/2021 08:33

Iv already told my sisters and mum I would rather have there support regardless through it all as men sometimes are not the best support system 😂 seems like there’s a few of us with same DD ❤️

Where is everyone from?
Xx

Missy95 · 25/10/2021 09:08

Hi everyone! Lovely to see some familiar faces names on here! EDD around end of June/ start of July!

I am on a mission to get in contact with the midwife today. I self referred and got a booking in appointment on 31st December, which would mean I would be nearly 14 weeks!
Due to complications in my first pregnancy last year (ending in mc), my consultant stated that I have to have a scan at 11 weeks, 15 weeks and 18 weeks. So I need to be seeing someone before then really! So fingers crossed I can get the ball rolling! It all seems so surreal. Ive had a bit of sickness and sore boobs on and off. Worse for me is struggling with a UTI xx

Lala94 · 25/10/2021 09:09

Just got my first midwife appointment all booked in! Grin

I originally phoned for advice, as I had a MC last month and have been having some cramping, but no other pregnancy symptoms yet. They were very reassuring, but wanted to get me booked in as from my last bleed I'd be 6+2 weeks (I did tell them I've been tracking ovulation and my cycles are usually 40 days, so I have myself at 4+4).

I was absolutely dreading making the appointment this time round anyway, as I started bleeding 2 days before my booking appointment with the MC...

But it's actually given me a date to look forward to! I've even pencilled in a date for a private early scan for when I'm 8 weeks (by my dates). I'm feeling cautiously optimistic! I know things can change and I'm very anxious over every twinge, but I'm just going to take it day by day and stay as positive as I can!

Missy95 · 25/10/2021 09:27

@Lala94 sorry about your mc.
Im glad you've got booked in and things are moving forward - it makes it seem real doesn't it? Good luck to you ❤️

Missy95 · 25/10/2021 09:29

I haven't told anyone other than my OH. Men are definitely not the best support all of the time are they! Im feeling a bit lonely and have the need to tell someone. But im trying to hold off for a few more weeks. Xxx
laurenGame · 25/10/2021 09:35

@Effram hello, familiar faces from ttc threads! Welcome 🤗 dont you use due date calculator? You just need a first date of your last period and it tells you?

@Nursemommyim in first year but I'm also working full time 😒 and now I'm pregnant on top of that - no rest for the wicked

@Elsols93 I am in Australia so going to have a summer baby (July). I too will want support of my loved ones in case bot the best outcome happens.. but I still want to wait until my 7-8 week scan first ☺️

@Lala94 jealous you've a midwife app booked ! I'm in Aus and apparently I've to see GP first (twice 🙄) which is tomorrow but wish I was seeing a midwife instead! X

laurenGame · 25/10/2021 09:40

@Missy95 I agree on men. I feel like I just want to talk about baby. all. The. Time.
About names about everything. He talks too, but I wonder if he wants to talk about something else instead at times 😂

Mine also found it funny that I did another test today. He was so amused as he thought I've already done my test that showed me I'm pregnant - why do I need another?
I tried telling him about line progressions but he sort of looked at me blank.

But the main thing I think men don't always really get it out fear of miscarriage. Mine knows there's a chance it can happen, but it doesn't scare him and he hasn't read hours of research on it like I have Grin he's not counting down the hours to 12 weeks like I am haha x

Missy95 · 25/10/2021 09:51

@laurenGame I feel just the same. Im glad I will get early scans for reassurance, but I feel like the next few months are going to be so worrying. Im trying not to panic at everything, but even ringing the midwife made me heightened and tearful 🥺 I think I need to speak to someone who can relate to the worries and how I might be feeling. But deciding who to talk to is tricky, as I really don't want the news going out yet as its still so so early xxx

laurenGame · 25/10/2021 09:54

@Missy95 I've not been as anxious yet but I'm aware it can change any minute.
I think there might be great podcasts about pregnancies and miscarriage fears? I'll be looking for one so will drop a message for everyone if they're interested :)

Missy95 · 25/10/2021 09:56

@laurenGame ah yes that would be great, thank you xx
