Found out I'm expecting again took first test with was a digital that said pregnant. Periods were all over the place. So just took a clear blue week indicator one and it's come up with 3+. So think going from my last period I'm due around 10th July.

This will be baby number 6 😳. And the only one we weren't trying for. Apparently if your off contraception for over 10 years and start taking it again it doesn't work 🤦🏼‍♀️. Baby will be a lovely addition. We've got 4 boys and a girl so far. Ranging from 9 to 2. X

jadeypies · 08/11/2021 16:27

@Cruz86 I am also unvaccinated for covid and like you had it very recently early in my pregnancy.
I won't get the vaccination now as a result 🤣🤣

Maddie2802 · 08/11/2021 16:32

I'm a biomedical scientist and have had my flu jab and covid vaccine and will take the booster when it is offered but I respect that everyone has their own opinions.

I just know that being pregnant makes you vulnerable and getting the flu when pregnant isn't good for mum or the baby. And as said by other posters, the majority of pregnant women in hospital with covid are unvaccinated so I want to minimise the risk the best I can.

But only you can and the decision for yourself. PUBMED is a good website to read scientific articles but be aware of whether they are peer reviewed or not.

Hey ladies

I’m 5+3 today and since I hit 5 weeks the exhaustion and sickness are incredibly awful. I feel like I’ve been hit my a lorry and I can’t even manage my 2 year DD. Anyone else suffering?

Rachietraindriver · 08/11/2021 16:45

I am . I am 4 weeks and 6 days and it's horrible .can't believe how tired I've become all of a sudden.🤮. This is my 5th child. I have 3 boys and 1 girl all under the age of 8 .

How anyone can put laughing faces after saying they won't be vaccinated for covid is beyond me.

Research women and their babies dying from covid.

Once you have carried this baby for several months, then do the research again. Once you've felt it move about and started buying it things.

And if you still choose not to, stay away from me and my unborn child, and think twice before you put laughing emojis next to an unbelievably crass and poorly thought out message.

buttongalore · 08/11/2021 17:29

@Rachietraindriver Congratulations! Wow your 5th child? I would love to have more. Do you mind me asking how old you are?

I’m finding it so hard to eat. I haven’t eaten in two days. Terrified I’m starving my baby

Rachietraindriver · 08/11/2021 17:32

I am 30. 😁 its hard work but I wouldn't change it for the world.
My children make me so proud and happy.
The sickness is horrible,it's there all the time for me and I had it bad with every pregnancy .seems to have started really early this time.

missv556 · 08/11/2021 17:54

Does anyone have an inkling as to which side baby is on? I can't shake the feeling that my alien is on the right hand side. Instinctively my hand keeps resting on the right side of my belly. And I felt a flutter there around ovulation so convinced this one came from the right ovary

Rachietraindriver · 08/11/2021 18:11

When I was having what I know now was implantation cramps... it was on my right hand side (If someone was looking infront of me) .

missv556 · 08/11/2021 18:23

I'm gonna feel real stupid if I'm wrong 🙃 🤣

annie1994 · 08/11/2021 18:23

@buttongalore I’m suffering too 🤢 I’m 6+2 and really starting to struggle with morning (all day!!) sickness. I have a 14mo boy and feel like he’s watched so much telly last couple days because I feel so queasy. I’ve gone off everything but forcing myself to eat and drink bits. They say that the baby is so small atm that they really won’t be affected by you not eating for a bit. But saying that if you really can’t keep anything down then maybe call GP x

Elsols93 · 08/11/2021 18:51

@missv556 I had all my implantion pains on the right and seem to have more like niggly pains on that side still now so I think i was that side aswelll xx

CaptainCarp · 08/11/2021 18:52

Brushing my teeth was fun this morning with the nausea! Dry heaving is not a pleasant way to start the day.

I have a decreased appettite for sweet stuff but at the moment no weird cravings or anything.

123catherine · 08/11/2021 18:54

@buttongalore I'm 5+3 too and also feeling a bit rubbish! Currently lying in bed in a state of collapse and feeling a bit sick 🤮 also have lower back ache but have felt fine all day until the last hour or so x

I'm the same, gone off sweet things which is normally my biggest weakness
SummerGirlElle · 08/11/2021 19:42

Hi Ladies,

Mind if I join?

I got my BFP last week and i'm due mid July 😊

buttongalore · 08/11/2021 19:42

@123catherine @annie1994 Sorry to hear you’re both going through this too. Can I ask what you’re eating to get through? I haven’t eaten for 2 days and I just want to cry my eyes out

123catherine · 08/11/2021 19:52

@buttongalore well that's the weird thing I'm still getting hungry, as well as feeling sick! But can only face really plain food - I have just had some beans on toast which seems to have gone down well - hope you find something you can eat soon!

al1n · 08/11/2021 19:56

Hi all got my very surprising BFP today for baby #2' no idea when I'm due, sometime from 12 July onwards 🤷‍♀️😍😂

Elsols93 · 08/11/2021 20:00

@buttongalore try eating some buttered crackers or even plain ones it really helped me tofay x

annie1994 · 08/11/2021 20:14

@buttongalore my main go to’s atm are dry crackers, ready salted crisps, digestives/ rich tea, ice lolly, dry toast, plain chips. Just really plain boring food! I do find sometimes the sickness is because I’m so hungry so when I do eat I feel a bit better! Really hope you manage to eat something as being starving makes morning sickness 100 times worse. The doctor may be able to prescribe you something to help but I’m not sure x

CaptainCarp · 08/11/2021 20:36

@crazyhairbear i used to snack on biscuits & cakes & now not bothered! DP even brought me a cake the other day & I barely touched it Shock

laurenGame · 08/11/2021 21:22

Good to see you both @Effram and @Cruz86 👋🏻

Bleeding did settle and I got so positive last night... until got fresh blood on a paper sheet and more than just spotting. It was just once but just made me feel tired from feeling positive to helpless - just going in circles daily. Scan tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

Congrats on the car Effram! 🚗 Is it all baby friendly? We have a sports car completely not suitable for a baby and will def have to change it which will be exciting, but obvs will need to see if this baby sticks first.

@Maddie2802 im also in medical/data science in a senior role and I've had all my vaccines (measles, rubella, flu, Covid, whooping cough, hep B) but I did get them before I got pregnant. I'd still get them as I'm very pro science and medicine...but totally understand it's a personal choice and everyone should choose what feels right for them x

I ovulated from the left ovary... I didn't know that means the baby is positioned to the left? I thought they're in the middle? Grin

Does anyone else feel like they'll have a Masters in Pregnancy after the next 8 months? 🤣
