Anyone else find out they are due in July ? My dates work out to be right at the end of June/July so I thought I'd start a July thread for us seeing as there is a few June ones going.

Anyone else got a + tests lately I got mine yesterday and then another today. Got a few more test to doing over the next week to see if they get darker.

Hope to have some more July ladies join me there is a few of us on the June thread and Facebook group already I'll try to tag you ladies Xxx

So interesting how different places do their booking appointments! I have mine on Monday over the phone. Seems really early?! But I think it's because my cycle was messed up after my miscarriage so according to first day of last period I'm like 7 weeks already... even though I know (from the hundreds of apps, thermometers and ovulation tests) I only ovulated three weeks ago which makes me 5 weeks. Sorry TMI!

My scan has been booked in too for 29th Nov which is when I'd be 9.5 weeks. I'm still tempted to get an early private one in two weeks' time though... desperate to hear a heartbeat because I didn't get that for the one I lost in Aug!

For people getting an early private one... how are you choosing where to go? Any ideas what's normal to pay?!

jadeypies · 28/10/2021 16:30

So exciting for everyone getting thier appointments through!
In my area, you can't book anything in until you are 7 weeks... 8 days until I can call 🤣

Cruz86 · 28/10/2021 17:33

Hi ladies!

Just to add my two cents in, we told both sides of the family at 4 weeks with our first. And we would have done the same this time round but we've decided to keep quiet for as long as we can because we've got a new baby in the family and would like to give them their time.

Had my booking appointment through too! 23rd November F2F. Just had to fill in online details about health history etc ready for the appt.

How are you doing @Missy95 and @beansprout55? Has the spotting eased up?

@DawnWW sorry to hear it's been a little bit difficult with your partner. Give him some time because although you've been trying, it is an overwhelming life change to try and comprehend. I understand it's hard for you though when you just want to talk about it all the time and be excited!

Cruz86 · 28/10/2021 17:34

Oh and @bagelcreamcheese, I've just chosen one of the first places that came up on Google 😂 It's £79 for an early scan. Not sure if that's good or not?!

Missy95 · 28/10/2021 17:58

Hi ladies. Hope you are all doing well. Its nice to seen lots of appointments being booked.
Still spotting over here but its light and brown (sorry tmi). Apparently thats old blood and possibly a good sign? Im holding onto any hope I can get!
Still no pain, but My boobs are still feeling pretty tender (also a good sign hopefully!). Im hoping its been caused by an irritation, possibly my UTI? I suppose I will find out next week hopefully. What a long week its going to be xx

ellecf · 28/10/2021 18:04

I've got my booking appointment in for 24 November..it feels so far away but I'll be 9 weeks by then. Mine is in person in London.

Weirdly went into the office today (first time since I found out) and actually forgot I was pregnant apart from lower back ache and some mild cramps. Anyone else feeling these cramps/ache? I'm also waking up at 4.30am every day which is delightful!! Apart from that just slightly sore boobs for me at this point.

My parents are down tomorrow for the weekend but we've decided to wait until Christmas to tell them - by then will be 14 weeks. Mainly because it will feel like a very long pregnancy of them asking a hundred questions a day if we told them now!! But also just to be cautious. There's no fast and hard rule is there, whatever you feel comfortable with. X

buttongalore · 28/10/2021 18:06

Hi ladies

I got my BFP today at 14DPO - lost for words.

Had a miscarriage in April so I know I will be fretting these next few weeks

Can I join? Pregnant again after a MMC at teh end of August. Can't believe we've been lucky enough to fall pregnant so quickly. Though now utterly paranoid about having another miscarriage. I'm usually quite a rational person but I'm analysing every line on every test (I keep taking them) to see if they're darker or not. I'm swinging between everything will be ok and thinking it's all going to happen again.

Have an interview tomorrow for a job I really want and can't concentrate on studying up for it. Urgh it's horrible!

DawnWW · 28/10/2021 19:03

Congratulations all the new joiners!

Thanks got so your comments on my concerns, he has been very sweet all day and made a couple of comments like 'I just need to be looking after you now which is what I love to do' so wondering if I might have been being over sensitive.

We are usually a very jokey couple so it might just be me needing a bit more delicacy and he was definitely in shock! Will still take a few days I think to sink in for him.

I have booked an early scan at 6+5 just to be sure it is viable before we visit his mum. The comments about relationship surviving were when we were discussing whether to try or not. I think the experience in his last marriage has affected him so he worries about losing me 🥲

Guess that's what the group is for! Love the support xx

Hayley220 · 28/10/2021 20:13

Hey everyone! I got my positive test today, i should be about 4 weeks and 3 days. Im soo nervous because i have previously had a missed miscarriage before having my son (18 months old!)

Symptoms wise i feel really tired. Had a bit of spotting like implantation bleeding and cramps earlier in the week. I wanted to post my test.. this was a first response but about my 3rd wee of the day today. Do you think its strong/normal darkness on the test? I am over thinking but so anxious. I will book an early private scan when I am 7 weeks. Too nervous to sort out a booking appointment until next week.

beansprout55 · 28/10/2021 20:18

@Cruz86 - I seem to only get it after a bowel movement. It's more yellow discharge than pink but deffo can see a pink hue. It happened again this morning. So weird! I don't know whether there's point getting in touch with someone or not? Any thoughts ladies? I don't know if I should be worried or not really 😕

Holskey · 28/10/2021 20:26

@hayley220 sorry about your mmc. That's as strong a line as I've seen 🙂

laurenGame · 29/10/2021 00:51

Have my 7 week app booked for 16 November, so excited, not long now ☺️ no symptoms apart from tender boobs, feeling good.

@i123i I've taken your post on board avoid digitals and decided not to use my tests to see '2+ weeks etc'. Like you said hormone levels vary between women and if I don't see 2+ I'll start wondering non stop. I told myself it's my responsibility now not to add stresses to my life. A lack of period is the main sign I need to know.

I'm blown away by how many ladies here have experienced miscarriages, by my estimation of responses it's about 80%?😲 it's been so eye opening, because mumsnet I barely knew anything about them.

@ellecf omg I wake up every single day at 4.30am, what's that about!

Cruz86 · 29/10/2021 10:27

Welcome to all the new joiners!! This group is getting bigger by the day 🥰

Sorry to hear about the miscarriages too. @Hayley220 those lines are really strong! I keep testing too (twice a week) but this morning I got the strongest line I've had so I'm now satisfied (for another week at least 🤦🏼‍♀️).

@DawnWW I'm glad your partner is being more caring now. It sounds like he just needed a bit of time to 'come to terms' with the news.

Glad to hear the spotting has calmed down @Missy95. It does sound very normal but it doesn't stop you worrying nonetheless. Let's hope the next week goes quickly for you, try to keep yourself as distracted as possible.

I think that sounds very normal @beansprout55. When my spotting started to ease off, it would only happen a little bit after going to the loo. It's a good sign that it's not a constant flow. I don't think they will do anything yet for this amount of spotting, but obviously if it does get worse then ring (not least to have it on file) and you may get a referral to epu.

Missy95 · 29/10/2021 10:31

Morning @Cruz86 . Unfortunately my bleeding is now like a period but watery. I have cramps in my lower back but nothing terribly painful. Its not looking good but still having to ride it out until epu will see me at at least 6 weeks. Xx

Cruz86 · 29/10/2021 10:33

Sorry to hear this @Missy95. I really hope it isn't anything to worry about. Are you 6 weeks next week? They definitely won't see you earlier? I think I went to epu at about 5+3 with my son xx

Missy95 · 29/10/2021 10:36

@Cruz86 I think I am 5+2 now. The dr said she will ring me on Tuesday to see how I am and if I need a scan, or to ring her before if it gets heavier. Its certainly heavier but it isn't showing on a pad, still only when I wipe - sorry tmi. However, im not moving around a lot at all; so that could be why xx

Cruz86 · 29/10/2021 10:38

@Missy95 It's still a good sign that it's not filling a pad or anything yet though. Has it got heavier since last speaking to the dr? I'd be inclined to ring again and say it's getting heavier to see if they'll get you in early next week. Just for peace of mind xx

Missy95 · 29/10/2021 10:41

@Cruz86 yes definitely heavier. Its been very on and off red/pink/brown but now its like a normal period flow and day 3 now. I will give them a call thank you xx

Elsols93 · 29/10/2021 10:58

@Missy95 please don’t even listen to the doctors get yourself to the epu of your worrying , they not the ones going through the stress and upset so listen to your body! I really hope it’s nothing sinister and all works out for you ❤️

Elsols93 · 29/10/2021 10:59

Sorry my grammar is crap the doctors just annoy me sometimes your pregnant whether 5 or 6 weeks !

Missy95 · 29/10/2021 11:37

@Elsols93 thank you, im waiting for a phone call back from the doctors. I think if I went to epu they would just send me home, and its a 2 hour round trip from where I live 🥺 hopefully I will get some advice after the dr calls. But I imagine they will still tell me to wait xx

Cruz86 · 29/10/2021 15:13

How is everything @Missy95? Xx

Missy95 · 29/10/2021 15:16

@Cruz86 the dr is ringing the hospital to see if I can get in for a scan, but said it doesn't sound good unfortunately xx

Elsols93 · 29/10/2021 16:20

@Missy95 really have everything crossed for you ❤️ Let us no how you get on xxx
